Ian here reacted to vinapu in Losing it slowly , one day at the time . Summer trip to Thailand and Cambodia in July 2026Day 10
Not that I had much to pack.
At 8.30 I was on BTS already on my way to Swampy.
At some point of yesterday I did two important tasks – called on Line boy D with news of my arrival today and filled Cambodian e-arrival report. This time I did not apply for visa in advance, rather decided to do it on arrival there. Reason was very technical. When applying for e-visa at home and uploading scan of my passport , their system wrongly recognized my country of birth. I tried 3 times with the same result. There was no option to correct that wrong reading so I did not want any trouble and abandoned process.
D was quite surprised I’m coming but sounded very happy as well. Promised to let him know when I settle in the hotel.
Considering bit hostility between Thailand and Cambodia at the moment I was surprised plane was positively full.
Whole thing weas uneventful, getting visa on arrival was breeze , just slide od passport through machine done by one guy , next one cashed mu 30$ fee and third guy have me back my passport along with piece of paper stating that’s visa. No photo, no stamp in passport. I declined several offers to take me to the city for 10$ and opted for an airport bus. 1500 riels fee , no change provided so you must have exact change . In about 50 minutes I alighted in front of train station and from there took tuk-tuk to my hotel Lavanya on street 136.
I booked corner suite room but it was not what I was given , since it’s only 1 night and receptionist was handsome I decided not to create any fuss about it. Called D I’m in the room and asked him to came in 2 hrs. I meantime I went to eat something as well as exchange some money. I prefer to deal in riels when comes to small purchases , saving dollars for bigger ticket items . During my walk I got caught by the storm and heavy rain with wind strong enough to destroy my umbrella so arrived in hotel pretty soaked. To my surprise D was already waiting for me in the lobby so off we went upstairs to celebrate reunion. He suggested tomorrow we make trip to old Cambodian capital UDONG , about 1 hr drive from capital. I enthusiastically endorsed idea.
For tonight I proposed we go to Space Bar , surprisingly he never heard about that bar but agreed. So around 11 pm. We walked there . It was not busy , only 3 other clients and total of 5 boys . My midnight only boys and two of us left and , oiled by few rounds of drinks I purchased we had tons of quite progressive fun. D clearly liked it and so did I.
Hearing about Udong trip three of boys expressed an interest in joining us and D agreed . At 1.30 am I tipped boys modestly and we walked to hotel to continue peruse stamps from collection.

Ian here reacted to Thefiloboy in Risky but hot encounter in Morocco (Tangier)I’m so grateful to have found this forum to get inspired (lol) and excited for an upcoming trip to Egypt.
I was in Morocco (Marrakech and Tangier) last January and sharing one of my encounters here! Have a few other experiences (one of which was getting scammed by a local i met on Grinder), and might share some of them when i have time within the week.
—
I’d just arrived in a coastal town of Tangier and, because of local laws, there aren’t really gay clubs or saunas. But Grindr? Absolutely buzzing. The second you open it, it’s like a casino machine that never stops spinning. My only dilemma: I couldn’t host. I was staying with friends in an Airbnb.
Around 1 a.m., a blank profile messaged me. Pretty standard there. He sent photos, said he was bi, discreet, and unfortunately for my survival instinct, he was very cute. He couldn’t host either, but offered something that sounded equal parts sweet, bold, and reckless: he’d pick me up, drive me around the city, and “kiss in the car.” I told my friend I’d share my live location for 24 hours, promised to send the car details, and decided to risk it.
He texted: “BMW. I’m in front of the door.” Honestly, that gave me a weird sense of security. Maybe I trusted the idea of trouble not driving something that luxurious.
He introduced himself. So as not to dox him, let’s call him Ahmed.
Ahmed, a local businessman, just came from a shisha session with his buddies, got horny, and found me on Grindr.
We quickly took off to a very nice drive, i must say. He explained so many things about the city.
“This is the Mediterranean side, and there’s an area where it meets the Atlantic side.” “That’s is a good restaurant with nice performances.” “Over there is the king’s palace overlooking the ocean.” It felt like being taken on a personal night tour by someone who loves where he lives, and I was happy seeing parts of town i wouldn’t have seen if it weren’t for him.
And yeah, while all this wholesome tourism was happening, the tension between us was… very not wholesome. I’d touch him, he’d let me, then we’d both stop whenever we hit busy streets or police checkpoints (Morocco was hosting AFCON, so security was everywhere). His cock wasn’t huge. More like a perfect boyfriend size. At one point his phone rang, he answered in Arabic, and I just knew it was probably his wife. He hung up, gave me that calm, reassuring smile again, and it was like nothing could rattle this man.
Eventually he drove us to a dark cliffside parking area overlooking the Atlantic. Moonlight. Wind. A few cars scattered around us doing probably exactly what we were about to do. He joked, “If you swim 5,000 kilometers from here, you’d reach New York.” while turning off the engine and interior lights of his sports car. We’ve been edging each other while on the unofficial city tour already, so told him there was something closer I wanted to reach (hint: his cock).
Ahmed quickly removed his Nike tech pants, revealing his cock and I can now play with it freely. Wasting no time, I unbuckled my seatbelt to suck him off. Moans out of pleasure all over. It wasn’t hard to deepthroat him because his dick wasn’t so big, and i felt him reach for my asshole to play with it. I asked if i could play with his nipples (a fetish of mine) and I was taken over the edge when he said “You can do whatever you want.” There I was, going between licking his nipples and biting them softly while using my hand to play with his dick, and going down on him to play with his balls.
He then unbuttoned my pants and started playing with my hard cock. “So much pre cum!”, he told me. He seemed happy I’m that turned on.
After just a few minutes I heard him say “Keep sucking me!”. His moaning and panting were getting more intense. I asked him if he was about to cum and he said yes. So i used my tongue and mouth even more intensely.
He finished. Hot. Heavy. A release that hit hard. I swallowed, laughing breathlessly, and told him there was a lot. He grinned and said it had been weeks.
I barely had time to enjoy that victory before his face changed.
“Fuck.”
Headlights exploded beside us. A large police vehicle rolled up. My heart dropped to my toes. Pants half-open. Mouth still tasting him. Brain screaming. Ahmed moved fast, adjusting himself, sitting upright like nothing had happened, rolling the window down with the composure of a man built for stress.
The officer stepped out and came to his side. They spoke in Arabic. I tried to move as little as possible while buttoning myself. Ahmed’s tone was firm. Slightly irritated. Not scared. That confidence saved me.
The officer glanced at me a few times but never addressed me. Ahmed slipped him documents, muttered something firm, and eventually the police just… left. Drove away like it was nothing.
“See?” he smiled, like we hadn’t just lived a full psychological horror film. “Everything is okay.”
I finally exhaled.
He later explained that things could have gone badly if alcohol was involved or if I’d been a woman, but usually the “worst” that happens is they ask for money. He drove me home after, laughing about how we were both unlucky and lucky at the same time. Unlucky to be targeted (out of the few cars in that spot), lucky he’d finished seconds before. We let out a big laugh.
When he dropped me off, I told him this was one for the books. And it is. I’ll never forget him, or that cliff, or how fast desire can turn into fear and then back into relief again. He smiled like he already knew.
TL;DR: Hooked up with a Moroccan guy in his car on a cliff. He finished. Police pulled up seconds later. Thought my life was over. It wasn’t. 10/10 story. 0/10 recommend for nerves.

Ian here reacted to spoon in The Seductive Art of Giving a F*ck: A Blind Approach to Having a Good TimeChapter 2: Happiness Is a Solution
I went back to sleep once my guy left and checked out around 3pm ish, which is the benefit of being a member of this hotel chain. I moved to my next hotel, closer to Silom, but still not in the Silom ghetto. Except for my last night at Pullman G, none of my hotels are in Silom. The first two hotels in my trip are new hotels (Metropolis Suites Bangkok and Conrad Bangkok) I'm trying this trip, and so far I really like these two hotels, and so do my nightly companions. I was upgraded in all my hotels this time, perks of coming in the low season, I suppose, and there was no issue getting a late checkout until at least 2pm, and up to 4pm for my first and last hotel. This wasn't a big issue anyway, as my rooms were ready for check-in earlier than the standard 3pm check-in in both cases. I have lounge access for most of my trips except for my first hotel, but they did give me one drink voucher. The lounges usually have afternoon tea (2–4pm) and happy hour (5–7pm). My third hotel was a repeat, Hilton Grande Asoke.
After settling down in the new hotel, I made my way to X-One to change some cash. I always bring my local currency and exchange it here for the best rate. There was practically no queue. I went to Prime Massage afterward for my customary massage. This time, I chose a 1-hour foot massage and a 1-hour head and shoulder massage for 750 baht. I had to wait 15 minutes for my masseur but was escorted inside the massage area immediately. Now my arrival ritual has been completed lol. I went back to my hotel for the happy hour and rested a bit before making my way back to Silom and Midnight Bar.
I stopped by and bought a drink, waiting a bit before showtime in the bar. My fav waiter was there, so I bought him a drink as well. He asked if I knew how to play checkers, and I said yes, so we had a few games before I made my way to Hotmale to see their offering and the 11pm show. When I entered, the customers were sparse, maybe one or two others besides me. Suffice it to say, it was not enough for them to do the show. It was a Saturday night, so it was kinda sad really. None of the guys on stage appealed to me either, though I could see one or two that might appeal to my fellow forum members.
After confirming with the mamasan that there would be no show, I made my way to my next bar, Good Boy. When I entered Good Boy, they were right in the middle of a show. The bar was full, so I was ushered to a seat near the stage, further from the entrance, where mostly boys were sitting. Not long after, familiar faces started to greet me with a wai, asked me for drinks, and of course Mamasan Tee and another friendly mamasan came to me asking for my drink order and if there was anyone I liked.
And amongst the familiar faces, there was a guy I didn't see on my last trip, as I had heard that he went back to his hometown. He was the obvious choice tonight, so I called him over for a drink and we chatted a bit to catch up. He told me he had just come back to work for 2 weeks, having been away from the scene for 7 months or so since last November. He immediately told me his interest for an off and asked how long I'll stay this trip. Not jumping the gun this time, I confirmed a few things with him before calling the mamasan for an off. Let's call him VB.
Once he changed into his street clothes, I told him I was waiting for a friend who was coming to Bangkok and arriving soon. He knows this friend, so we sent him our selfie. Around 12:30am, my friend arrived, and we stayed in the bar until the late-night shows ended. My friend also bought a guy a drink, and it didn't take long for him to also off the guy. We went to the famous Foodland for supper and retired to our hotels for the night.
Yet another repeat guy, proven quality, and the reunion was great! He stayed until breakfast, and I went back to sleep after he left.

Ian here reacted to spoon in The Seductive Art of Giving a F*ck: A Blind Approach to Having a Good TimeChapter 1: Do try
It has been almost 7 months—seven long months—before I finally started making plans for my next trip. I checked with my travel buddy, who told me he should be able to travel in early July or late July/early August. I myself still needed to wait for my work schedule to be fixed, which got done towards mid-June; thus, I started to look at tickets for both windows and finally decided on an end-of-July trip. I applied for annual leave, booked my flight, booked my hotels, and told a few possible travel buddies and forum members (and ex-forum members) about my maiden trip this year.
Arriving in Bangkok on a Friday evening was a big mistake. While there was only a minor delay taking off (15 minutes or so), I spent 1.5 hours queuing at immigration in Swampy, and yes, I was swamped. Even my handheld electric fan couldn't save my body from expelling excess moisture, front and back. I don't think the airport itself was particularly warm or hot, but the amount of fellow travellers queuing must have been what was responsible for heating up the small space. I arrived around 7:00 PM, escaped the airport around 9:30 PM, and finally made my way to Silom around 11:00 PM after a brief freshening up at my hotel.
Tonight's first visit was Dreamboy. I entered mid-show, and not long after, the show ended and the guys started coming to the stage for me to choose. There were definitely more guys than customers, and I was the only customer in the back row behind the pillars. Immediately, I saw a guy who was offable material—my type; let's call him CN. I called the mamasan, telling him the number to call the guy over for a drink. The guy showed a lot of interest, could speak some English, and when asked if he wanted to go with me, he said yes. I asked again, "Long time?" Yes. "Until breakfast?" Yes. "How much?" He said a number, and I said yes. I called the mamasan and paid his off fee.
I stayed longer for the next show. While eyeing the stage again, I saw a guy who I used to take out before, VN. He is my type as well, but with a smaller frame. What the hell—it was my first night after a long hiatus, and I was in the mood tonight, so I called the mamasan and told him to call the guy over for a drink as well. Not long after, he sat on my empty side and ordered his drink. Just hours ago, I was sitting in the office finishing up work, and now, I was sitting in between two hunks. Yes, I am officially in Thailand—my second home, lol.
Since I was in the company of two hunks, I stayed longer until the show ended. VN tried to recall who I am, then told me, "You left phone in taxi." Yup, he is the guy I was with when I left my phone in the Bolt taxi I took. I asked him if he was interested to go with me, and he said yes. I told VN I had already offed CN, and would off him next time. We stayed for a while to enjoy each other's company before I left the bar for the hotel. I asked CN if he wanted to eat or buy anything at 7-Eleven; he bought some items, and off we went in our taxi.
All was good until he told me he needed to go early. I won't bother telling the rest of the story—all the excuses, etc.—but I did stand my ground. His tip was reduced because he told me he would come back, so I told him I'll pay the rest when he returns. All of a sudden, he wanted more money. I repeated that I would give him more when he returns and stood my ground, until he finally said he might not return, which was why he needed more... Mind you, it was him who suggested he would return. Anyway, he left and it was only 2:15 AM.
After I calmed down a bit, I texted my regular guy in Jupiter, MW. I asked if he was still awake; he said yes. I asked if he was in Bangkok and told him that I was in Bangkok too; he said yes. Then he asked me, "Shall we meet?" I asked if he wanted an overnight with me tonight, and he said okay. I sent him my location; he said he was drinking with a friend and would come to me around 3:00 AM. No need to tell you guys how this ends up, as I have already lost count of how many times we have met before. He stayed until breakfast the next morning, and that concluded my first-night adventure—trying a new guy on the first night who turned out to be a dud, but salvaged by a regular.

Ian here reacted to Novarunner in Brazil is a strange placeI am in Rio this week. A few days ago, I met a tall lean muscular black garoto at Arpoador shortly after the sunset. We played with each other’s cocks in the bushes some and then exchanged WhatsApp. Today, he visited my Airbnb and we did all of the things you cannot do in the bushes at Arpoador or at least not pleasantly anyway. The various activities we engaged in at my Airbnb resulted in the thorough mixing of our DNA.
After we were done, he asked if he could shower and I was thirsty so I went to the refrigerator and had some orange juice. When he got out of the shower, I offered him some orange juice before I hopped in the shower myself but the man — that literally still most likely had some amount of my cum inside him — and had had zero issues with beijo earlier said that he would have water because I had been drinking out of the OJ bottle.
Yes, we were conversing in English and, no, his English wasn’t perfect so I suspect he didn’t mean to be so blunt but I did think the whole thing was a bit odd. My 🇺🇸 brain says that if you are going to kiss another human being passionately and then let them cum inside you, it’s okay to drink from the same bottle too. Perhaps 🇧🇷 brains work differently though and I thought I would share this experience.

Ian here reacted to durian in Danang visit.Border hop time again. We decided to give Thailand a miss and went for a three month say in DaNang.
Getting the visa was easy, online application £20 fee and your details, address flight passport etc etc. Arrived in four days by email.
We have rented an apartment on My Khe beach front and the first thing that caught us out was the construstion noise next door, it's been a month of hammer drilling which is now over thank goodness. 8am to 5pm. There are people on YT who suggest noise can be a problem but until you actually arrive at your destination I'm not sure how you can know in advance.
Google maps doesn't update often enough to help. The demolished building is still a hotel on google maps.
We haven't come for 'Gay Danang' to be honest there's not a lot here for two older men. That said we have found a couple of bars and the Gentlemans sauna
HOI AN 'LIVING COLOURS' a very friendly gay bar, we got tipsy there a couple of evenings during our weekend stay, everyone seemed really friendly.
It wasn't difficult to strike up conversations and enjoy a few drinks.
They do kareoke and drag but not on the nights we were there.
The two chaps who run the place are very nice and very friendly, as has been said in thier google reviews. Well worth a visit, we will return.
I care about cleanliness behind the bar and the way cocktails are prepared really stood out here. First Class.
DANANG QBAR Quite a small bar and not particularly comfortable, the bar staff were very friendly.
No draught beer, just cans. We sat outside so we could smoke, inside was busy but not the sort of bar where we found it as easy to chat to strangers as we found at 'Living Colours' A few table and chairs so once seated the patron chatted to themselves, Probably won't go again.
It was quite something to be sitting outside smoking and as one barman arrived we heard him announce to his buddy that he did indeed have a UTI.
I'm glad it wasn't my slice of lime he manhandled in to a cocktail as I stood at the bar getting my beer.
Not overly happy with the standard of hygiene at the small sink behind the bar. The bar is located a 10/15 minute drive from the heart of the touristy beach area.
GENTLEMANS SAUNA DANANG. This has mixed reviews on google so here's my honest opinion as a 'sauna whore' for most of my adult life.
We went yesterday (saturday) 5pm -8pm it was busy with a wide mix of ages and body types and nationalities.
As you enter there are changing lockers to the right, you are only provided with what can best be described as a flannel. No towel to cover your modesty or dry off with at the end of your stay. TOP TIP. Take your own towel for drying off before you leave.
The flannel serves no real purpose, I honestly thought it was a bit daft the way chaps were holding said flannel over thier cock as they wander around covering thier modesty.
I chose the sluttier option and just wandered naked, doing my best to hold in my beer belly. Fuck it. Lifes to short.
It is very dimly lit so it's not like you're walking around stark bollock naked in homophobic lighting.
On the ground floor a small steam roon and dry sauna and communal shower area.
The small steam room is a classic free for all grope and suck and mingle. It was a constant stream of men in and out, no real action in the sense of 'orgy' but it was busy.
The usual rules apply, a gentle removal of an unwanted touch is all that is needed.
The two upper floors have a combination of dimly lit single rooms and open larger rooms, the stairs could prove fatal if you're not careful, marble surface and wet flip flops are not a great mix, so take care as it is not well lit. (flip flops provided depending on how you feel about wearing them not knowing who else has worn them)
I think being barefoot could prove even more slippery. Once your eyes adjust the lighting is perfect.
The chap who runs it is very friendly, there is some refreshment, beer with a ton of ice in it or a soft drink in those dispensers you often see at a large gathering in a restaurant, and some very small plastic cups, and a table with sliced fruit are free.
We went by Grab and being modest, not wanting to startle the driver, we chose our drop off point as 'Kims House Homestay' which is just a couple of doors away.
We did have a short wait when we Grabbed home as there were not so many drivers available, theres a nice coffe bar on the corner at the end of the street to sit and wait, ALLY COFFE' It's a 15 minute ride from 'tourist central' at the beach where we are staying.
We will certainly go back, reviews on google suggest many people don't like being touched in a dark steamroom, I would say to them if that's not your sort of thing then don't go.
It's a gay sauna and in all my sauna years I would expect nothing less than some random stranger touching my cock or feeling my butt while jammed up against 10 other men in a dark steam room. Isn't that the whole point?
I certainly enjoyed sitting in there stroking the back and butt cheeks of what looked like a very fit korean chap while someone else was sucking his dick. Sounds like a perfect afternoon to me. As for the fun sized japanese daddy licking my nipples and playing with my balls, thank you. Just what I expected.
From memory the entrance was about 180k which is ridiculously cheap so don't even begin to complain on your google reviews.
Grindr is fairly busy, Hornet less so, we have had several hits during our first month. We haven't taken adavantage of any of those hits on the app but we do like to know what's around us and who is available.
One very handsome asian lad offered us sex for 900k in our room promising me that he would sit on my face, and another very fit looking asian lad offered us massage for 1 million!
It's possible DaNang has more to offer younger visitors but we wouldn't know as we're not in to nightclubs or dancing so haven't explored that aspect.
We're happy with a dark steam room and DaNang certainly has one of those, albiet quite small.
It also has to be said that for eye candy Danang is 10/10 Wandering along the beach is mouthwatering, we love nothing more than sitting at the tables of the beach bar which is opposite the NESTA HOTEL with a San Miguel beer (70k) and watch the half naked men play ball. Further north along the beach, maybe a 10 minute stroll, you will find a few muscle boys working out and posing which is a pleasant addition to an evening stroll.
I've had some use of the Moreta app to pay in VND but usually choose cash or Wise card, unless it is cash you are going to pay a little extra either way.
There is LOCAL PAY app which is widely accepted but from my understanding you have to buy bitcoin to top it up, I'm not up for dabbling in bitcoin so chose not to use it.
VP Bank doesn't have withdrawl charges but the ATM's I found were limited to 2 million (Danang and Hoi An) where as if you don't mind paying around £10 in ATM and WISE charge combined I find it easier to use the nearest cashpoint and take out 5 million. The grab ride to my nearest VP ATM is a £5 return journey.... and bear in mind that you only get a couple of charge free withdrawls per month from WISE as it is.
We're here until the first week of Sept and then back to Penang, we've decided/booked Chiang Mai for the next border hop in December.
