Odd that you say this as the VAST majority of complaints have been against YOU. Not someone else. And, i am not just saying one or two or three. I am using the word VAST as I am an English major and understand the importance of words. Good moderation is actually not kicking someone off that seems to have so many enemies of long time posters. That is restraint. You pick and poke consistently and then cry wolf when the admins do not agree with you. I am frankly done trying to play middle man between you and the majority. I have sided very heavily toward you in most decisions trying to bring about peace. But, you do not want that. You want your will to be the law of the land. Forget about it as it ain't going to happen. (yes, I used the word ain't and English major in the same passage)

Michael is a name I use on all other boards. I use TotallyOz only on this site. Sometimes I log in with Michael as I did today to see the new design of the site. The admin told me it was only visible under a few screen names and he asked me to look at it. I logged in to see the new design but forgot to log out when I posted. As I don't want to get names confused, I deleted Michael's post and copied exactly as I had originally posted. I hope this helps.

He gave pretty good free advice. It was cheap as it was free. But, if you avoid taking all free advice you may find yourself up shit creek without a paddle. Wow, thanks MSGuy! The first sentence was a true compliment. But, the insane part? Of course not! I am the one who had 7 gogo boys living with him in Thailand and hired a full-time manager to take care of them, a housekeeper to clean for them and a cook to feed us all. Insane? Nope. This has been one thing that we have never had much of here at Boytoy and the Male Escort Review. There was just never much need for it. When we started, we had Barry, Tampa and myself. As Barry moved on, it was just Tampa and myself. As Tampa moved on, we had only me and the new admins for the site, Boytoy. That now leaves us with two. With the all the mess that went on last week with the Daddy threads, it seems to me that perhaps we need to reconsider the system here. To be totally frank, I will very soon be heading off to a new adventure in life and while I'll still be around, the remote location I'll be at I have never been before and I am not sure how much access to Internet I'll have. I really won't know till I get there. But, if I had to guess, the Internet speed will be very slow or non-existent. However, I just won't know till the end of August. In the meantime, I wanted to throw this out there. We do need more moderators on the site. We need men who are fair and have shown a willingness to stick with us through thick and thin. I am thinking of doing this a few ways. But, am totally open to suggestions. One, I was considering just offering everyone that has over 2,000 or 3,000 posts on the site the ability to be a moderator and if they chose to participate, they could do so with their own name or another name like Mod1 or Mod2. We could create a new forum that only the mods could see and when an issue arises, the mods would vote on the solution to the issue and majority rules regarding setting posts to invisible, moderating topics as well as closing threads. All could be done very democratically. Two, I could just ask for volunteers and choose who I wish. (not good for me as I would not choose anyone who has not been active on the site to a great extent) Three, we could keep things the way they are but this is my worst fear as when I head into the great blue yonder of a 3rd World country, I would hate to not be around when things needed to get done. In the end, this site has always run with very little moderation and I hope this continues. But, I would love a plan in place that allows for other members to take a more active role in participation.

My main concern in all of this is the lengths that police are allowed to lie and entice and coerce men to meet up. I'll be the first to say that being in the legal profession for a few years that the only people that lie more than lawyers is police and they are not only allowed to lie but it is encouraged. I do not full the full case that is in this original post and I agree that this has nothing to do with male escorts or even gay sex, it is a scary thing that police are allowed to go to this extreme. IMHO Also, it is my firm belief that if we legalize prostitution and encourage everyone to enjoy sex that crimes against children will decrease tremendously. Yeah, I know none of that was mentioned in the article posted but it was on my mind.

I had a good friend who is not part of this community read the Daddy thread last week. I was having dinner with him last night and he said, "I have to tell you that the posters on that Boytoy site are the funniest group of posters I have ever seen on a website!" I asked for clarification as my friend is a voracious poster on FlyerTalk and Democrat Underground and several other political forums. He said that he read not only that thread but hundreds of others and just kept laughing and laughing. He said that the wit and comedy of the posters here is really unmatched. It said was like we had the funniest group of posters from DU and brought them here in place. He loved the photos and the graphics and the wit that goes into several posters posts on the site. I was very happy with the comments as this is from someone I really respect. He is not part of the escort world but he said the was more impressed with this forum and its posters than any site he had ever been to! So, thank you!

I think the goal was to try to bring in as many facets of the male escort world as possible and that includes all shades, colors, ages, etc. It also includes the high end services, the Craig's List escorts, the gogo boys and the street hustlers. It is really often very hard to try to get so many things woven into a design.

Well, the measure discussed in that article is based on an LA County ordinance. That is different than the California OSHA rules which had sued various companies including Hot Desert Knights in Palm Springs and Treasure Island Media in San Francisco. I do not know what the result of those suits are as I do not make porn but at the last Adult Webmaster Expo in Las Vegas, I met several companies that filed in LA that were moving.
