I love the idea. January is not possible for me as I have other commitments. How about July? That is not high season and the cost is much lower than the rest of the year for hotels and everything else.

I like the idea! I'd be happy to plan an adventure to Thailand if others are interested.

Great report. Thanks so much for sharing. How do you adjust time zone wise on short trips? It always takes me a few days each way to get adjusted.

Reminds me a bit of Sister Act. Amazing she is a real nun. She has a great voice. I bet her and the new pope will get along well as this is surely a new age for Catholics.

Almost as much as the guy! BTW: I forgot to mention that the shower is on the 2nd floor, really high steps. The "private room" is up one more flight. As they ask you to leave your clothes in a locker (odd for me), I had to walk up and down with wet feet. I almost slipped on the way down with the combination of oil and lube on my feet (don't ask).

I saw Halt and Catch Fire premiere and thought it was going to be good. I didn't know Black Box was cancelled. That sucks. I hate to get into a movie that is cancelled. I was just getting into the alien movie Starlovers or something when I heard the cancellation and I just stopped watching. Most shows don't end well as they get surprised when they are cancelled.

I went to Banana Massage today down the road from Hero which I always like. But, I wanted a change. So, I gave Banana a try. They did have some cute boys but I hate the fact the place is a bit dirty and the boys seemed to have zero interest in work. But, I found one lad from Vietnam that I really thought was cute but the mamasan knew nothing about the boy. So, I left but the boy was outside and I chatted with him and decided to do a massage. The rate was 650 bath for the hour plus a tip of at least 750 for the boy. Much cheaper than Hero. The boy was sweet. But, I ate communal showers. As I was getting a bath rub down, another boy came in with his client. Not something I wanted to see and I am sure he felt the same. The rooms do not have bathrooms inside. The room was OK. It was cool and had a nice air con and a nice bed. The massage was just OK as the boy was new and not good at massage. The sex was just OK as the boy was new and just not good at sex. LOL However, he was able to get me off and I left with a smile on my face. During the shower after the sex, I had a cockroach climb up my leg. I threw it off and jumped like a little girl. The boy (being a man and all) scooted it aside (Buddha doesn't like dead things even cockroaches). All in all, I liked the manager. I liked the boy. I liked the room. I hated the showers. I loved the price. I really did not like the bug. But, I did enjoy the buggering (all 80 sec of it).

There are a lot of fall TV shows that ended their run and of course others now have taken their turn at tying to win support for their network. There are some really interesting shows out there. Fargo - this is just amazing. I love it. I have not laughed so much in years. Billy Bob Thornton does a remarkable job. I remember him from the first movie I saw of him Slingblade. Like it, in Fargo his performance is spot on. He is a great actor. There are lots of other great characters in this show as well. Orphan Black - OK, I am late to the game on this as it started last year but I really enjoy it this go around and can't wait to see each episode. Black Box - which I thought was going to be an airplane movie but it is a very interesting take on bipolar disorder and people with neurological issues. It is also really interesting. Do you have others I need to see?

I liked the groups they selected. I found odd they had all those cut in and outs and didn't show the entire dance. I also thought Justin and his cute dancer buddy were a bit too comfortable with each other for my tastes. I have told Justin not to put his hands on anyone else but the cunt just doesn't listen. Does anyone else think that some of his remarks were very slow and seem to have been 30 or so takes to get a few sentences out? Maybe I just expect perfection when it comes to him but he didn't seem natural on the first episode.

1. I wish he would take that shirt off. 2. I wish after removing it, he would place it in the chair near my bed as I hate clutter!

Funny and very well made!

I don't know the answer but for some reason, the performance on the show are really amazing. Case in point:

I have a proxy which shows address from USA and can see anything you can see. I have many friends from Thailand that download via torrents. I have friends that just wait for the season and buy in Patpong.

Having been to Rio on multiple occasions, I have to say, I love venturing out into the wild unknown. One of my favorite places is the Rio Scenarium. It is such a cool place where you can dance and eat and relax in the midst of antiques and clocks and sofas from years gone by. The place is charming and on one visit, my friend from the USA told me it was his favorite place on earth! Check out this list of fun places to see when in Rio! http://edition.cnn.com/2014/05/14/travel/rio-lapa/index.html?hpt=hp_c6

On this episode of So you Think You Can Dance, I loved the group of 4 hot black guys dancing. When they got the judges (2 women) up on stage I thought of some great times back in NYC at Stella's. Those moves captivated me 20 years ago and still to this day, I think of those great days when I would tip a hot hunky thug boy and then take him home with me. One of the guys looked like a guy I took him one night. He was black, thin, ripped abs and a 9 or so inch dick. I was in law school and had a straight roommate. He woke up and found this sexy stud in the kitchen totally naked cooking some breakfast for me. He asked me later, "was that thing for real?" I said oh yes. The night before, this skinny little thug had picked me up (big man) and bounced me up and down on this big cock. It was delightful. (back then I was a bottom) and I never really knew where he got the strength from. Back then, there was no facebook or social media and no way for me to keep in touch with some many I met and would love to connect with again. Watching these 4 dancers really got me in a old memory mode from the great dancers in the basement of the fine 47th Street heaven.

"The Normal Heart" coming to HBO (finally)
TotallyOz replied to a topic in Theater, Movies, Art and Literature
Thanks. I thought there was a thread but could not find it when I posted. I did a search but I guess I spelled normal wrong as zero results came up. Is that normal? Anyway, thanks for pointing this out. I am glad others saw this and liked it. -
American has lost one of the true artists. I remember reading I know Why the Caged Bird Sings back in undergrad school with a class full of females. I was the only male. It was my first introduction to her work and I have loved reading her works for 20 years. I also loved listening to her. What an incredible voice. RIP

I got an alert from Thai Visa that Facebook accounts are being shut down. Some say the site is not accessible at all. I still have it here in Bangkok. Not that I can't live without it. But, is anyone seeing issues with this?

Giovanni would be proud.

"The Normal Heart" coming to HBO (finally)

Did anyone else watch this? It was very moving for me to watch as I had friends that lived through that in the 1980's. Also, the scene with Matt Bomer's ass was delightful. However, his transformation at the end was chilling. I was in tears more than once. Some great performances in this. -
I have noticed a few hotels I stay at have specials going on and actually booked a nice place for the weekend as a get away from BKK. But, I found this article and it has some decent prices. The Blu looks really great! http://bk.asia-city.com/city-living/news/5-bangkok-staycation-deals-courtesy-coup
