Yeah, with the coup and all, I would plan for this June either. To date, still not CNN or BBC on the TV stations here. I did see some protesters out a few days back but they are not in big groups. It will be interesting to see what happens but you are right, not enough time for this July. As for the time of the year, unless you want to spend 24/7 at the beach, the time of year does not matter. July is rainy season and the rates are lower and the boys are hungrier. I detest Dec and Jan in Thailand as the crowds are big and the prices are the highest all year. Yes, still a bargain but it depends on where you stay. The hotel in Hua Hin I stayed in last December was over 250 per night. For that, I could be in many places.

Flashing 3 Fingers to protest coup may get you arrested

Brooklyn? Is that in New Jersey? -
Got a call from a boy that works in the Plaza last night and he asked me to come to Bangkok. He said the military had cracked down on the bars in Pattaya. He said he thinks things will get even worse. But, that just may be a reason for him to come for a visit. When I woke up this AM, I looked around to see if any reports of the raid and GayButton has some good info on it that was sent to him by the owner of Eros. http://gaybuttonthai.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6562

There were none the night I went. But, the hotel I stay in is mostly Asian tourist from China and Korea and Hong Kong. It is very quiet. The boys and I go swimming every day and the pool is usually crowded. We have had 3 days this week where we were the only ones in the pool area. I loved it but I felt bad for the restaurant that serves the pool as they have been very very slow.

Reading the Bangkok Post today and found it very interested that flashing 3 fingers to protest the coup may get you arrested. I have not seen this happening but I did watch the movies about that girl in the Hunger Games. Is that the same? Luckily, I am from NYC and we only use one finger consistently.

The boys were watching Thai TV and said that the curfew had been listed in Pattaya and a few other cities. It remains in place in Bangkok from 12-4AM.

I was chatting with a friend in Pattaya and was asked if I had heard about Neal. I don't know the details but the reports of his death seem to be true.

Sad to read this today. Duc was a true character in the Pattaya scene since I have been coming to Thailand. I had more than a few drinks and good conversations with him over the years. He will be missed.

After people don't log in for a while, their account is deleted and available for someone else.

We have a new support person here. His name is Boytoy. He will be helping in the admin of the site as well as work on new things that need to be done to take the site to the next level. I have known him since my days in NYC and I know he will be an asset to the site. As you all know, we try our best to keep improving on the site and making things better. It has never been a one man crew and I am happy to have someone else to implement new ideas and projects.

I love the idea. January is not possible for me as I have other commitments. How about July? That is not high season and the cost is much lower than the rest of the year for hotels and everything else.
-
I like the idea! I'd be happy to plan an adventure to Thailand if others are interested.

Great report. Thanks so much for sharing. How do you adjust time zone wise on short trips? It always takes me a few days each way to get adjusted.

Reminds me a bit of Sister Act. Amazing she is a real nun. She has a great voice. I bet her and the new pope will get along well as this is surely a new age for Catholics.

Almost as much as the guy! BTW: I forgot to mention that the shower is on the 2nd floor, really high steps. The "private room" is up one more flight. As they ask you to leave your clothes in a locker (odd for me), I had to walk up and down with wet feet. I almost slipped on the way down with the combination of oil and lube on my feet (don't ask).

I saw Halt and Catch Fire premiere and thought it was going to be good. I didn't know Black Box was cancelled. That sucks. I hate to get into a movie that is cancelled. I was just getting into the alien movie Starlovers or something when I heard the cancellation and I just stopped watching. Most shows don't end well as they get surprised when they are cancelled.

I went to Banana Massage today down the road from Hero which I always like. But, I wanted a change. So, I gave Banana a try. They did have some cute boys but I hate the fact the place is a bit dirty and the boys seemed to have zero interest in work. But, I found one lad from Vietnam that I really thought was cute but the mamasan knew nothing about the boy. So, I left but the boy was outside and I chatted with him and decided to do a massage. The rate was 650 bath for the hour plus a tip of at least 750 for the boy. Much cheaper than Hero. The boy was sweet. But, I ate communal showers. As I was getting a bath rub down, another boy came in with his client. Not something I wanted to see and I am sure he felt the same. The rooms do not have bathrooms inside. The room was OK. It was cool and had a nice air con and a nice bed. The massage was just OK as the boy was new and not good at massage. The sex was just OK as the boy was new and just not good at sex. LOL However, he was able to get me off and I left with a smile on my face. During the shower after the sex, I had a cockroach climb up my leg. I threw it off and jumped like a little girl. The boy (being a man and all) scooted it aside (Buddha doesn't like dead things even cockroaches). All in all, I liked the manager. I liked the boy. I liked the room. I hated the showers. I loved the price. I really did not like the bug. But, I did enjoy the buggering (all 80 sec of it).

There are a lot of fall TV shows that ended their run and of course others now have taken their turn at tying to win support for their network. There are some really interesting shows out there. Fargo - this is just amazing. I love it. I have not laughed so much in years. Billy Bob Thornton does a remarkable job. I remember him from the first movie I saw of him Slingblade. Like it, in Fargo his performance is spot on. He is a great actor. There are lots of other great characters in this show as well. Orphan Black - OK, I am late to the game on this as it started last year but I really enjoy it this go around and can't wait to see each episode. Black Box - which I thought was going to be an airplane movie but it is a very interesting take on bipolar disorder and people with neurological issues. It is also really interesting. Do you have others I need to see?

I liked the groups they selected. I found odd they had all those cut in and outs and didn't show the entire dance. I also thought Justin and his cute dancer buddy were a bit too comfortable with each other for my tastes. I have told Justin not to put his hands on anyone else but the cunt just doesn't listen. Does anyone else think that some of his remarks were very slow and seem to have been 30 or so takes to get a few sentences out? Maybe I just expect perfection when it comes to him but he didn't seem natural on the first episode.

1. I wish he would take that shirt off. 2. I wish after removing it, he would place it in the chair near my bed as I hate clutter!

Funny and very well made!

I don't know the answer but for some reason, the performance on the show are really amazing. Case in point:

I have a proxy which shows address from USA and can see anything you can see. I have many friends from Thailand that download via torrents. I have friends that just wait for the season and buy in Patpong.
