There are about 500 million Buddhists worldwide, but it's unclear exactly when in history this religion began. The Buddha's life story spread first through oral tradition, and little physical evidence about Buddhism's early years has been found. Now, scientists for the first time have uncovered archaeological evidence of when the Buddha's monumentally influential life occurred. Excavations in Nepal date a Buddhist shrine, located at what is said to be the Buddha's birthplace, to the sixth century B.C. The research, published in the journal Antiquity, describes the remains of a timber structure about the same size and shape as a temple built at the same site in the third century B.C. Archaeologists also found reason to think that a tree grew at the center of this ancient structure, lending support to the traditional story that the Buddha's mother held onto a tree branch while giving birth to him. "This is one of those rare occasions when belief, tradition, archaeology and science actually come together," lead study author Robin Coningham, professor at Durham University in the United Kingdom, said at a press briefing Monday. If this study is correct, the Buddha's actual life could have overlapped with a popularly recognized time frame of 563-483 B.C. Well, technically, let me tell you that you never know who is a moderator on a site and who is not unless their primary group is set to Moderator. Anyone can have Mod permissions but their primary group is set to Member and thus they do not show on the list and you don't know who they are. Now, why would anyone want such a thing? Lets look at the history of the Gay Thailand message boards and see those that are openly moderators and often times are given hell not only on the board but in person by other people. One example I'll use is GayButton. When he was a moderator on this board, his friends gave him a hard time based on him not banning certain posters. They didn't just PM him on the board, they did it at dinner, etc. Who the hell wants that kind of shit? Having run hundreds of boards in my life, I would always recommend to anyone on this board if they wish to be a moderator and are asked to help out that they do not do it under their own screen name they post with. This is just something I came to realize over the years and not something I have known for 10 years. However, that is a recommendation I make only on this board and other gay Thailand related boards. On these boards many people are known as they walk down the streets of Sunee or Boyztown, etc. and it makes it hard for them if they make a decision that others don't agree with. And, as a mod, you always make decisions that someone doesn't agree with. It is the nature of the job. For Admins, they can also log in anonymously. I know this is shocking to some but it is an admin option. I am not saying that Scooby is using that as I don't know and I have not talking to him in weeks. But, I do know it is an option. So, don't come up with conspiracy theories just yet. I do know two moderators check many times each day as I see them online often.

For now, it would work just fine but I do plan on retiring to LOS one day and much prefer to just keep the same policy. I did think this new plan would make this easier for me but it has had the opposite effect.

I like both sites. But, they are sales sites and not profile sites. There is a big difference between them. I'd love every site to look like Apple's site as I think it is simple and beautiful. But, it is just not possible from a design perspective.

I like any color scheme where the text is readable. I have seen sites in all black and I can't read them.

I have been excited to see the new plans and while the costs are greatly reduced in NYC where I live, they do not provide overseas coverage for anything but emergencies. In the past Blue Cross / Blue Shield would provide overseas coverage if done through a Blue Cross provider. That does not seem to be the case now. I also looked at California plans and they have also limited overseas coverage. Has anyone spent time with the sites and trying to figure out if they will get coverage while visiting Thailand or other places under the new rules and if the new rules are just allowing these companies to offer less coverage overseas?

I am glad to see the night bazaar bars are still going. On my trips to Chiang Mai several years back, I had some great times at these places.

It is also working for me. Often times browsers save things from websites. If you clear your cache and cookies for this site, most likely that will solve the issue.

They offer food and drinks there as well. Other than that, and a good massage and good sex, I can't think of other services they offer. The tip is minimum for one hour is 1,000 baht to the boy. Tip a bit more if he is really good. You also have to pay for your room. and any drinks you get.

Tom, your photos are great and very representative. But, for me, it looks so much larger in real life. I guess when you have 100 swinging dicks around your face, it is hard to get the right perspective.

Thanks. Good service. I have a Mac and I have used NetShade for years and love it. I did have to purchase it but I have used it in many countries and hotels with no issues. I also like being able to bypass hotel blocks to torrents and this software accomplishes that.

I have always just been very upfront when I do 3ways or groups. I'll tell the guys how much I'll pay and ask if this is something they are OK with. Most will say yes but some will say no. I'll also always let a guy I take off for a 3 way help choose the 3rd guy. I have found that often Thais are just OK with 3ways and not great with them. However, the opposite is true in Brazil where the guys love them and the rate is the same rate as one on one.

I was in Happy Bar several times and found the guys very cute, the music no so loud and the air con comfortable. I did enjoy it. The place was clean and some good guys there. And, for the sake of KT who thinks I think only about sex, I'll only say I took 2 boys from the bar in an amazing 3 way while Boyfriend 1 and Boyfriend 2 waited for me crying outside the room that I didn't treat them special. Dear Willie, I share some of your views as well (not all but some). However, please don't lump me in with surfcrest as an owner. I do not own this board and while I am sure your intent was not to insinuate I do, I just want to be sure we are clear.

I hope you like the new top banner! We are working to make the site better and quicker and in a few weeks, we will be moving to a new hex core processor server (whatever that is). So, we are trying to spruce things up. I hope some of you are enjoying the subtle changes.

One thing I hate is that some people do not feel that moderators or owners or admins on on board can participate on another board. This is just pure Bullshit IMHO. I was told once on SGT years back that I should stay on GT. Surfcrest is welcome on this or any other board to post and participate. The fact that he owns another board has ZERO to do with his ability to post here.
