  2. I like going to Jazz and Blues places and I take my boys with me. While they are not gay, I have never once had any problem. In fact, in on Jazz club in Pattaya, I had a birthday there and about 20 gay boys and ladyboys and we all had a blast.

  5. Ace, I really like the city as well and I hate I missed the gathering this year. I hope I am in the USA for the one next year.
  6. I am always signed in unless I log out or close my browser. But, for those with issues, Expat is right, a lot has to do with your browser settings. However, if you have issues, please give us your OS and Browser and the version of each one and we will test this. I will also clear my cache and I still have stuff on my Firefox as it syncs with the Fox server.
  7. This city was the hardest yet for me as I know we have many that live there and that visit often. I hope I have done it justice. Please take a look at the new listings for this great gay city! http://gaypalmsprings.boytoy.com http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/forum/273-gay-palm-springs/
  8. TY, you write so beautifully! I think you missed our calling as a novelist! Or, are your secretly that 50 Shades guy?
  9. I owned a video store years ago. I sold poppers and it made great money. The cost per bottom was 1.25 to 3.50 for the high end. The retail was usually 9x-20x that. And, they would sell. I understand many business that rely on this and I don't know of many online places in the USA that now sells them. The owner of Rush died a few years back and I don't think there are any legit Rush products.
  10. Never heard of this. Thank you so much!
  11. This is the same the world over. It happened in Amsterdam, New York, Prague, Montreal and other places. The fact is the Internet is making it easier for the guys to find customers and not have to go into work. If you read Firecat's adventures carefully, you will see he rarely goes to any of the bars. I went to the bars last week and I think that was only my 3rd time on a 4 month visit. There are just easier ways to find boys. That said, if you are in Brazil, it is the opposite, the saunas are still where the boys are found! The eye candy is there galore! I still love Thailand or I would not be here as much as I am but it is not for the gogo scene and that was the first thing that brought me here.
  12. Beautiful story! A tear came across my eye just reading it. We have come such a long way. I was 28 when I came out. I didn't have the nerve to do it earlier and being from Alabama, I was terrified. I love going back home to visit now and seeing rainbow necklaces on the guy at Best Buy. Just as a side note, I store the Armistad Maupin books from my library to read them and then returned them. But, they were beautiful.
  13. Well, we lived in Pattaya for a long time and he mostly dislikes Pattaya Farangs. But, I think that has to do with the constant BS a "taken" boy gets from others trying to woo him away. I went on a boat trip to the River Kwai a few years back. It was organized by a group of Pattaya expats and they charged a price for the boys to go but provided some whiskey etc and guaranteed the boat. I took around 20 guys with me. That means I paid for them, paid for their ticket, their transportation and liquor. I won't even begin to say how much this cost. But, one of the sponsors of the trip took a liking to one of the guys I brought. He was insistently following him around and hitting on him. The young lad was nice but kept saying no and moving on. Finally, the older farang said, "I am one of the sponsors of this trip and you must go to my cabin with me." Many Thais would simply do as asked but he turned back and said as he pointed at me, "That is my sponsor for this trip." The old man came over and asked my name and I chatted with him and he asked if the boy was taken and I said, "Yes, he is." Truth is that he wasn't but he had already filled me in on the guy. The man said, "well, I pay a great deal for this trip and guys like him should not be invited." The story is simple. There are many like that from guys I know. When a farang treats a guy with such disrespect, it is often taken against the whole lot of us. Sad, but true.

    I'am not Gay!

Yes, the secret is to find the video, copy the title in the search on YouTube and it will come up, click that video and it comes with all the extra URL characters! Now, when I saw this thread, I pissed my pants because I have been with Tomcal and know what a slut he is (sorry Tom) and I knew that if he wasn't gay, that I might have to reevaluate my own life again.
  17. Bob, I was in Dream Boys a few months back and the cost was like 360 baht a drink. I was one of only two white people in the audience. The rest were Asian. I was with a good friend who asked the owner about the rates and he said that only the expats cared about it. He said the vast majority of his customers were from Singapore and Hong Kong and they never complain about the cost or the service. He made it clear that he did not care if a westerner came into his places or not as he was just find with the way things were going. I have another friend who use to go there often and order 10 or more drinks each night and the owner knows this. He approached the owner and told him that he would go in for the evening and buy drink after drink if he would lower the price to say 220 baht a drink. The owner said, "No thanks. Find another Bar." So, I guess he is very happy with his clientele which is mostly Asian. Likewise, my favorite Hero is often filled with Thais and other Asians and they could care less if a Westerner is there. It is just the way these particular places make their money. IMHO
  18. Yes, you will now see an icon for Chat. Should you ever be online with someone and wish to chat, it is here and it is free for all to use. You can even have private chats inside. We hope to find a way to set some times that we can schedule group chats for people to talk. Perhaps even get a few escorts involved in showing up. But, they are here and they are free.

  22. I have just never felt safe leaving my wallet and phone (camera) in a locker. I know that is stupid and probably a bit looney but I don't even like it in the USA. The lockers in Brazil are locked with keys they give you. It is just something I prefer to keep with me. Lurker and Tomcal gave great advice on everything. While, like you I have been leery to take photos inside the room, but my last trip with Tomcal gave me the courage to do so and not one boy said no and I always give the money before I ask them for the photo and just ask if it is OK. They all said OK.
  23. Google "zerg rush."
  24. This was my first time out in a month. My back has been out and I haven't really done anything and Firecat and Dev asked me to join in the Soi. I am glad I did. I had a nice Chicken Fried Rice at Maxi's. It was much better than the last one at Dick's cafe. I was also surprised that all of us like the exact same guy. He was fun and flirtations and very cute. I hope he is there for a bit so someone on the board can test him out and let us know how he is.
