  4. The Boy Scouts of America, one of the nations largest private youth organizations, is actively considering an end to its decades-long policy of banning gay scouts or scout leaders, according to scouting officials and outsiders familiar with internal discussions. If adopted by the organizations board of directors, it would represent a profound change on an issue that has been highly controversial -- one that even went to the US Supreme Court. The new policy, now under discussion, would eliminate the ban from the national organizations rules, leaving local sponsoring organizations free to decide for themselves whether to admit gay scouts. The chartered organizations that oversee and deliver scouting would accept membership and select leaders consistent with their organizations mission, principles or religious beliefs, according to Deron Smith, a spokesman for the Boy Scouts national organization. ndividual sponsors and parents would be able to choose a local unit which best meets the needs of their families, Smith said. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/01/28/16739587-exclusive-boy-scouts-close-to-ending-ban-on-gay-members-leaders
  5. Do they check your passport and stamp you out?
  6. How To Deal With Homophobes Online In many ways, the Internet has been great for gay men. It's given us ways to contact others like us, make allies in the straight community, get laid, and generally feel less alone. But there is a downside as well. It also allows us to come in contact with right wing homophobes who will try to tear down everything we've accomplished. Some of these homophobes mean well, but have simply been given wrong information because of a general lack of education about homosexuality in our public school systems. Others are hateful and are trying to convince other people who may not have an opinion on homosexuality one way or another to come over to their side. Either way, you may be tempted to debate with them. If so, here's some advice on how you do it. If they say homosexuality is a choice. Point out that acting on homosexual impulses is a choice, but being homosexual is not. Explain that scientists have discovered a gene that is directly connected to homosexual feelings. If they say that the gene proves that homosexuality is a “birth defect.” Tell them that no, it simply proves that there is a natural component to homosexuality and that it means that being homosexual is no different than being born with red hair. If they say that CDC information shows that more gay men than IV drug users contract HIV in any given year. Agree with them in principle, but then point out that there are many, many more gay men than IV drug users which means that, by definition, there are going to be more cases. Point out that the CDC also says there are more cases of HIV spread through heterosexual conduct than through IV drug use as well. If they say that gays are perverted because they have anal sex which means they like shit. Show them the current studies that show that 44 percent of straight men have had anal sex with their female partners, and that similar numbers of women report enjoying anal sex on a regular basis. Therefore, anal sex is sort of the great equalizer among gays and straights. Often they will say that they have never met a gay person and don't understand why there seem to be so many of us online. First off, you can ask them how they can judge a group if they have never met a single one of their members. Secondly, you can point out that they probably have met any number of gay men or women in their lives, but simply don't know it, because not every gay person goes to a pride parade and people are not likely to share details of their sex lives with people who they can tell might become aggressive or hateful to them. They might try to tell you that homosexuals are unmanly or effeminate and try to act like women. This one is easy. Find pictures of your favorite daddy muscle top. Then find a picture of John Mayer. Ask them which of the two seems more like a real man – the pretty straight boy or the masculine queer. Sometimes they will try to say that the gay lifestyle is unhealthy. In this case, you can easily inform them that gay men are much more likely to hit the gym on a regular basis than straight men are. And that lesbians are much more likely to be vegetarians than straight women are – meaning they'll have lower cholesterol levels and be less prone to heart attacks. If they say that the Bible prohibits homosexuality. Tell them that it really doesn't. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah is the Bible saying it's not a great idea for straight men to cheat on their wives by having anal or oral sex with female prostitutes – which was true at a time before condoms existed. Also point out that the Bible prohibits eating shellfish, wearing polyester, and dozens of other things that they do on a regular basis. Ask them why they pick and choose to hate the one thing the Bible actually says nothing about at all. If they say that gays only like shitty dance music like Madonna or Lady Gaga. Simply post them a YouTube link to any song by Rob Halford or Judas Priest. Finding a straight man under age 50 who doesn't think Judas Priest kicks ass is difficult, and even the most hardcore homophobe would have trouble giving Halford any shit. In the case that they try to equate homophobia with pedophilia. Point out that studies show that between 70 and 86 percent of all sexual contact between adults and children occurs between an older male and a female child. Also point out that the higher percentage of 86 percent represents communities that consider themselves particularly Christian, where there is a higher level of stigma on non-married sexual content. Sometimes they will say that we are trying to recruit them. Ask them if they shop at The Gap. If they say “yes,” assure them that we are not interested. Finally, if they use any hate speech against you at all. Just look up the website's contact information and report them for hate speech. No site wants to be known as one that allows hate speech – and, in fact, allowing threats to be made online can get a website in lots of legal trouble. Keep doing this, and you can deal with any homophobe online – and help spread tolerance and understanding throughout the online community. cc boytoy.com 2013
  7. We had talked about this a bit back but it looks like a powerful group of Senators want to include an exit system when visitors leave USA. A proposal would also require that an exit system be in place for tracking departures of foreigners who entered the country through airports or seaports, before any illegal immigrants could start on a path to citizenship. http://www.nytimes.c...on.html?hp&_r=0

  13. I read the article and agree. However, I will say that a lot can happen in 2-4 years. Bill is a big selling point and he is the best advocate for her. I hope he keeps his health and stays strong. Isn't he a vegan now?
  14. PARIS — Thousands of people marched in Paris on Sunday to show their support for a same-sex marriage bill that lawmakers will begin to debate on Tuesday. Demonstrators waved banners emblazoned with phrases like “Equality of rights is not a threat” and chanted: “What do you want? Equality! When do you want it? Now!” Another placard showed a version of the French government’s seal, but with two Mariannes kissing. Under the words “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity” was the slogan “No more, no less!” According to the police, the march attracted about 125,000 people, twice the number that took part in a similar demonstration in mid-December. Two weeks ago, a rally by those opposed to the proposal drew what the police said were 340,000 people into the streets of Paris. François Hollande, the Socialist president, promised during his campaign to legalize gay marriage within a year of taking office in May 2012. And with effective majorities in both houses of Parliament, Mr. Hollande and his government should be able to beat back various efforts by opponents to kill or amend the bill. It has been suggested that even given the long legislative process, the bill could become law as early as May. In contrast to the opponents who demonstrated two weeks ago, many of the marchers on Sunday were relatively young and personally invested in the future of the law. Nicolas Marquart, 37, a physiotherapist, made the trip from Strasbourg with his partner, with whom he is in a “civil solidarity pact,” and another gay couple. “I’m here as a gay man, and because it would be nice, since we are still in the 21st century after all, to see our morals evolve. It would be a good thing to all have the same rights.” http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/28/world/europe/supporters-of-same-sex-marriage-rally-in-france.html?smid=fb-share&_r=1&

  16. I think it has to do with the huge Cuban population we have in USA. But, I don't understand why either. I do know that most of my friends that travel there have to go to Mexico or Canada and travel there.
  17. I like shoes, booze and boys with tattoos!
  18. Do Brit's have travel restrictions for Cuba?
  19. I hope you read that entire thread as the end of it some regular posts who have visited Cuba come into the thread and posted their experience. I agree with you that this is one place I want to visit and I wrote that article based on friends who have been there as I said in that thread. However, I have visited Porto Alegre and will be return in March and adding more photos and experiences. I know you have visited Brazil as well and like it there. I hope you watch for my photos as the boys there are hot as you can see from my friend Tomcal's post. I'll work on getting some good advice on this for the site. Thanks for the comments on the re-branding and color modification. It is paying off well with traffic and new guys on the site daily.
  20. Thanks. This post is old and Firecat was commenting before my injury and I had lost 100 pounds. Now it is back on again and I am working again to down down on the scales rather than up up and away. Not an easy task for sure. Firecat actually asked me why I brought up this old thread and I was looking into search terms Brazil and Kiss. I was looking for a thread on the nightclub that caught fire and came upon this thread. I have just spoken to the boy in this thread and it brought back such great memories as he is preparing for me to visit Sao Paulo in March for 13 days.
  21. I started being friends with a ton of 18 and 19 year old on my first trip. They are all 10 years older now and all working. They don't work in the bars now but they do still see customers even though they have "day" jobs. My 2 Favorite boys in Brazil are now over 30 and their cock only gets better with age.
  22. I read somewhere that Casey Anthony requested the same. But, when news happens, it is the public domain. You can't then go and retroactively remove all instances. Impossible.
  23. If you enjoyed the Fortaleza article, try: Havana, Cuba http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/topic/12719-rent-boy-paradise-the-boy-toy-guide-to-gay-havana/ Porto Alegre,Brazil http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/topic/12667-the-boy-toy-guide-to-porto-alegre-brazil-home-to-the-best-money-boy-sauna-on-earth/ Tel Aviv, Israel http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/topic/12835-gay-tel-aviv-where-nothing-is-uncut-a-boytoy-city-guide/ As for the "light switch" I think you only need to turn it one once and it stays to your default. I don't know much more about it and don't understand it fully, but I'll read up on what it does and the difference and report back to here.
  24. Lookin and others, we love links from any site you post one. It is relevant to SEO and it helps us be seen by more people. Notice that we have links to Daddy's site all over this site and many escorts have it in their signature. We have never removed these as we think it is important for users to be able to link where they choose. Likewise, we love any links from any site anyone posts on.
  25. And, my angel is on schedule for me to see in Sao Paulo. Facebook is a wonderful thing!
