Chehon is who I am rooting for so we will see next week if he makes it all the way. I am so happy he is in the finals. I do think other dancers were better than some of the top 4 but this always happens when America has all the power. I think all shows should be a balance of the votes from audience and the judges.

I subscribe to over 20 magazines but through Zinio. It is the exact magazine cover to cover in a very easy to use Adobe Air version. I love reading it this way as it reminds me of the magazines I use to read back in my youth. I don't really subscribe to any news magazines that way as the 20 or so I do subscribe to are more for entertainment purposes. Do others use Zinio? It looks beautiful on a large scree!

I notice that Lucky posts links to the Wall Street Journal. I assume he must have a subscription to that. I have two subscriptions now: one to the New York Times and one to the Los Angeles Times. I do not yet subscribe to the Wall Street Journal but when it was free, it was a daily stop. What online news subscriptions do you have?

Last night was a great success! At my Hilton Head Island Hotel which normally plays Fox News in the AM, they were all talking about how amazing Bill was last night. I just hope that it was enough to get his base off their ass and into the voting booths! Bill is THE man. No one else in either party can do what he does as well as he does it. Love the man. Hate the man. It doesn't matter. You can't rightly say that he is not captivating and perhaps one of the best orators of this generation. He can handle a crowd better than any I know. I had to pee early on and like when I see a great movie, I just held it in until the end. I didn't want to mix one word, one hand gesture or one smile.

I have been in many of these hotels. I will tell them that I need all the stuff removed from the Fridge and they have always done that. I then put my stuff in it. I had one hotel who refused and I sent an email to the manager and got another fridge delivered the next day that was empty and not associated with their electronic system. There are always ways around these things. But, I would never do this for just one night. I am usually in hotels for a longer time and I refuse to pay the prices they charge. One benefit of the Intercontinental for their top tier members is that they give you the minibar for free. Everything in it is complimentary. But, I only drink Diet Soda and Sprite so they don't have to give me a lot. When the BF is traveling with me, he will drink more.

FH, for noise, I use a White Noise app for my computer and IPad. I love it. I turn it up enough just to block all outside noise and I sleep like a baby. For me, the Internet speed is of primary importance. I have checked out more for this than anything. I need a good speed and when I don't get a true high speed, I feel I am wasting my time. I also like getting points for any hotel I stay at. I know this means I pay much more than normal hotels but in the end it is worth it for me. I have an upcoming trip to Brazil and the rates are over 600-800 USD for each night at the nice hotels but I get to use the points I have accumulated over the last year and stay for almost a month for totally free! I love it. I really need a fridge in a room. I like to have gatorade or Powerade and I want it cold. Most hotels have a full mini bar and if it costs me money, I'll empty it out and fill in with my own stuff. Saves a ton of money. I prefer a high floor. I like a room with a view even though I don't look at very much, I like to know it is there.

I prefer to keep the inactive and that way they can't register for the board again under the same e-mail or username. but, part of the reason they are inactive is many of them NEVER verify their emails as they are fake. The reason the companies do this is to help their clients with SEO. SEO is Search Engine Optomization and it is what helps a company get high up in the google, yahoo, bing rankings. One way they do this is by getting "links" from legitimate sites over to their site. For each of these links on different pages, it helps them. If the site is ranked high in its own SEO and / or had lots of original content, it helps those companies. So, they try every method they can in order to get those links back to their site. Each link helps them to move higher in the rankings. Some sites, like gaythailand.com have authority. It is long established, it has constantly changing content, it has been registered a long time and it is at the top of google for several prime keywords. Therefore, spammers try to get on the site any way possible. Most try to get in the forums as it is one of the few places that allows "back links" to other sites. The verdict does surprise me. I wonder how much of this has to do with faded memory? Does Thailand's media forget about the story after a while? Was it constantly in the press even after the incident? The reason I ask, is that if it was, it seems the judges would have no choice but to lay down a tougher punishment.

They know. Everyone that owns boards knows this as it is a CONSTANT issue. What happens with Invision is that they are able to register but they are flagged as spam and immediately inactivated. I can honestly say that I have closed boards for this hassle. One board I own with Invision had over 800 of these registrations in one day. It is a true PITA! It is one of the reasons that upgrades to boards is so important. Many often say if it ain't broke don't fix it. But, that is not the case with Message Boards. Each new version makes it a bit easier.

I have had problems getting baht buses in Pattaya to stop at time as well. But, there are so many that it does not often take long. My one issue is when they say they are going on way and then they go another one and you have to get off and change buses.

Are the bars in that area now owned by the owners themselves? Or, are they all rented out? In Pattaya, Sunnee Plaza is all owned by one lady and you purchase the lease. Is this the same in that Soi?

I think some of them just don't want to go into certain areas. When I was staying on Sathron for last year as well as at the Marriott there for almost a year 3 years back, it was almost impossible to get taxis to take us back to the hotels. Even at Central World, the taxis in the late afternoon would refuse the ride and the taxi helper would have to ask many taxis before one would be willing to go that route because of bad traffic. I like this law. I wonder if the taxi's in Pattaya will ever be required to charge by Meters?
