I prefer to keep the inactive and that way they can't register for the board again under the same e-mail or username. but, part of the reason they are inactive is many of them NEVER verify their emails as they are fake. The reason the companies do this is to help their clients with SEO. SEO is Search Engine Optomization and it is what helps a company get high up in the google, yahoo, bing rankings. One way they do this is by getting "links" from legitimate sites over to their site. For each of these links on different pages, it helps them. If the site is ranked high in its own SEO and / or had lots of original content, it helps those companies. So, they try every method they can in order to get those links back to their site. Each link helps them to move higher in the rankings. Some sites, like gaythailand.com have authority. It is long established, it has constantly changing content, it has been registered a long time and it is at the top of google for several prime keywords. Therefore, spammers try to get on the site any way possible. Most try to get in the forums as it is one of the few places that allows "back links" to other sites. It is a multi billion dollar industry. I hope that helps.

The verdict does surprise me. I wonder how much of this has to do with faded memory? Does Thailand's media forget about the story after a while? Was it constantly in the press even after the incident? The reason I ask, is that if it was, it seems the judges would have no choice but to lay down a tougher punishment.

They know. Everyone that owns boards knows this as it is a CONSTANT issue. What happens with Invision is that they are able to register but they are flagged as spam and immediately inactivated. I can honestly say that I have closed boards for this hassle. One board I own with Invision had over 800 of these registrations in one day. It is a true PITA! It is one of the reasons that upgrades to boards is so important. Many often say if it ain't broke don't fix it. But, that is not the case with Message Boards. Each new version makes it a bit easier.

I have had problems getting baht buses in Pattaya to stop at time as well. But, there are so many that it does not often take long. My one issue is when they say they are going on way and then they go another one and you have to get off and change buses.

Are the bars in that area now owned by the owners themselves? Or, are they all rented out? In Pattaya, Sunnee Plaza is all owned by one lady and you purchase the lease. Is this the same in that Soi?

I think some of them just don't want to go into certain areas. When I was staying on Sathron for last year as well as at the Marriott there for almost a year 3 years back, it was almost impossible to get taxis to take us back to the hotels. Even at Central World, the taxis in the late afternoon would refuse the ride and the taxi helper would have to ask many taxis before one would be willing to go that route because of bad traffic. I like this law. I wonder if the taxi's in Pattaya will ever be required to charge by Meters?

Yes, I am very serious. His statement are what HE thinks is beautiful. He does not say that you should think the same. Just because he calls someone a "stunner" or a "superstar" does not mean he expects you to think the same. He is stating his opinion and not trying to force it on you or anyone else. Did anyone tell you what your standards ought to be or what kind of boys you are supposed to like? The OP simply said that he thought the quality boys were in the late night dance clubs. He didn't say that you should like them or anything of the sort. I thought he just stated his opinion. I happen to agree with him. There are good quality boys at the late night dance clubs. They are also in Siam Paragon and yes, in some gogo bars and beer bars. But, I don't think he was telling you that you had to agree with him or that what was handsome to him should be to you as well. Perhaps you read too much into that?

You mean a customer? jk Quality boys and Quality farangs are easy to find. They are the ones that are highly sought after. For quality boys, they are usually the ones offed a great deal and popular. For quality farangs, they are the ones that all the boys want to spend time with when the bar is full and the potential for many customers is high. That is my definition of quality. However, quality is so hard as I have friends whom I have had cat fights with the past and there was NEVER any boy that we agreed up. What woos one man's heart and hardon does not woo another. But, if you look for a boy that everyone goes after then you may be able to term that boy at "quality" by the standard of many.
