10 Lessons Learned by a Traveler to Gay Thailand
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Lesson 10: Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions. If you come to Thailand, you will find paradise. It is here. It is everywhere. Still, many come and don't find the happiness they want. Why? I have always wondered why I have always people come here and can't be happy. I find happiness comes very easy in Thailand. Don't stress out about the little things. Understand that you are in a different culture and you need to relax a bit. You are not in America or GB or Australia. You are in Thailand. It is their country. When you get pissed that someone doesn't speak English, you need to take a dose of reality. Happiness is easy to find in Gay Thailand if you are kind and good to the people here. I find that the guys that are unhappy are the ones that are real assholes to the boys or to other falangs. If you treat other falangs like you want to be treated, you will find some great men here. There are a lot of falangs with great life experiences and knowledge that you can learn from. Take the time to listen to them. If you treat the boys like they deserve to be treated, you will find they are good to you in return and you time in Thailand is going to be much happier. There is a reason that every boy I have ever let live with me in Thailand would leave any current falang or lady or ladyboy and move back in with me tomorrow. It is one simple thing: I am good to them. I treat them with respect and when I tell them I will do something for them, I do it. I don't lie to them. I treat them great and in return, they treat me the same way. Happiness is easy in Thailand. Just don't expect to wake up and it will jump in bed with you. You need to leave the door unlocked from time to time to let it in. -
I need to get some photos painted in picture form. I had a guy I used in Pattaya that was located at Royal Garden but he is no longer there. His rates were good and his work was excellent. Now that I am in Bangkok, anyone know of a good artist shop? Thanks.

I am sorry Lucky. What is his point? Why does he not see this as progress? What am I missing?

You don't get a 90 on arrival. That is for sure. You may get a single 60 day single entry that is extendable 30 days at a Thailand immigration office to make it a full 90. I think that is what Khor Tose was talking about. Some embassies give a double entry, which makes it 180 days with one visa run. I am not sure if where you are going does that or not and they all change their policies from time to time.

X Boys can be hit or miss but they have some very sexy boys there. I always enjoy my time there. I went last night and it was too early and most of the boys did not show up yet. We were the only customers. We were told more boys would be there later and the majority of customers came to see the shows. Wynn is one of the waiters/mamasans in the place. I have known him for a while. He is very knowledgeable about the other boys in the bar and what they will or will not do. Also, Wynn is gay and loves to play with the other boys. If you want a great time, take him off and pick another boy for a hot threeway. A friend of mine has taken him tons of times and always has fun and says he is great at picking hotties to play.

No doubt. No competition. No other bars are close! Super A is a bit dirty. A bit dark and a bit sleezy. But, the price for drinks is 100 baht. And, the owner owns the massage place downstairs. You first go there and see a few boys you like and invite them up to the bar. They are affectionate, hands one and all fun. I was there again last night and had a blast. Met 2 hot guys that had great fun with them. Bought them both a drink and all our drinks cost less than one drink on that other Soi. Super A is A Plus IMHO!

The Chinese have the fastest growing high speed railway system in the world. Many have questioned their safety. I'll be curious to see if this focuses more attention that way.

OMG. That actually is very similar to the way I look. Have we met? Are you using personal information to depict me or was that a Lucky guess?

OK. I know a lot of people get really tired of the discussion of Apple Products. However, I am a big fan and when something new comes out, I like to test it. Yesterday, the new Operating System for Apple Computers came out and I downloaded it. You can't buy it in stores yet and it is only available via the App Store for Macs. The cost was 29USD. I download it and it was almost 4G. It took a while to download as I guess hundreds of thousands around the world had been waiting for it. It is simple to update your computer to this new version. Download, wait for the install and you are set. A few new things I have seen: Mail: I love the new look of the Apple Mail program. It has conversations and it flows much better than any other mail client I have seen Apple produce. Safari: It is better and faster. The one thing I like the best is called Reading List. You can save any page to a reading list and come back and read it later. When the Cloud from Apple comes out, this will then sync with all your devices. Contacts: It is still very basic but much easier to use and easy to bring IPhoto images into the list. It says that you can add Facebook to the users contact and click facebook and it will bring up that users page. It doesn't work for me and I spent an hour trying to figure it out. I guess I'll have to wait a while for this to work right. Calendar: Looks better than before, but I didn't see major changes. The update is really geared to making the computer flow more like the IPad and it does. I love the new Mission Control and the way all my pages flow together. IMHO, this is a great update and I am glad I downloaded it! As always, Apple rules! BTW: they also updated the Mac Mini and the Airbook. Both upgrades look fantastic and with the inclusion of Thunderbolt, they will be lightening fast. http://www.macworld.com/article/161256/2011/07/mail_lion.html#lsrc.rss_news http://www.macworld.com/article/161225/2011/07/lion_address_book.html#lsrc.rss_news http://www.macworld.com/article/161267/2011/07/safari51_lion.html#lsrc.rss_news

Who is going to win So You Think You Can Dance?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Well, Mitchell and Clarice left this week. That leaves the top 8. Marko is amazing and I still think he is fantastic. I thought Neil Patrick Harris did a great job as a guest judge. I can't think of many things that guy can't do. -
I agree Fountainhall. You have led a fascinating life and the depth of knowledge of little know places to me always keeps me in awe! The photos are great and I loved reading about it. Thank you Sir!

There is a great article in The Atlantic about the Defense of Marriage Act and the repeal of the Clinton signed legislation. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2011/07/15-years-after-doma-hearing-reveals-a-nation-transformed/242273/

I think an open relationship is much more common than we think. Many people get bored after a certain time with their partners and when they need sexual satisfaction, I see no reason not to explore other partners. I like sex and even today if a beautiful lady approached me with the same scenario and we had some weed high, I'll love to have sex with her. Mind you, I get lazy when I smoke so she would have to be on top and do most of the work. If she was OK with that, I'd be OK with whatever happened. (Notice I said in another thread today I hate drugs. I don't consider weed one of those drugs I hate.)
