I tasted the Ribs and did not like them either. But, that was my expectation. Good ribs are hard to come by.

Looks like an interesting movie. Here is one of the stars.

LOL I usually post cordial thoughts. But, I don't go blind. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I hope you have fun with the forum. Honestly, I do. I was only saying that you got your feelings very hurt once before. I hope that doesn't happen again. I hope that was not uncordial (new word).

I use Omni Focus as it is amazing! You need to buy both the IPad version and one for your desktop but both are worth the cost. IMHO I love playing Angry Birds and Crossword Puzzle the most. I also have several other games the boys love to play when they get the device. They have a cool chess game. I use Kindle all the time. It is free. Fandango is great if you are into movies. Evernote if you have an account with them (one of the best products on the net IMHO). Google Voice is great! Sign up and download. Shazam is a app that you let it listen to some music and it will search the database and tell you what song it is and how to buy it and who sung it. Speedtest.net is great for hotels as I always use it before I check into a hotel to see if their wifi is really high speed. Flight Control HD is one of my fav games. It is so much fun and addicting. Clock Pro HD is also a great clock program with alarms and many different kinds of clocks. Penultimate if you like to write and not type. It is great to use from time to time when I am taking notes. Veggie Samurai is a fun game that everyone loves. Skype is good if you have an account as I use this on my IPad often. There are just a few of my favorite things.

The boys and I have set out to find the best Hamburger joints in Bangkok. I know of some we are going to test, but if you have others to recommend, please let me know and I'll try to go. Stop 1: Duke's Express Emporium Shopping Mall, 5th Fl., Tel: 087-002-9214, Website: www.dukesbangkok.com This place is tucked away at the back of the 5th floor food court. I have been to Emporium many times and never seen it. You need to walk all the way to the back of the court to find it. It has only 7 tables and it small, but it is worth trying. The group: it was me and my two boys that live with me but 2 Thai friends from Pattaya. I ordered Joe's Famous Burger. It has Blue Cheese, Bacon, Grilled Onion, Lettuce, Tomato and Horseradish Mayonnaise 245 Baht. My side item was Onion Rings. The burger was very good. The meat was tasty but a bit overcooked for me. I like to see some pink and I told the lady that but it was well-done. Still, I loved the taste of the Blue Cheese on the burger. I gave my burger a 3.5 our of 5. The boys had another burger, the Fish and Chips, Lasagna and Ribs. They all gave their meals a 4 our of 5. They all had fries with their drinks and they gave a separate 1 our of 5 to the fries. The fries were not cooked well, soggy and just not tasty. Not one person finished the fries. We all ordered drinks and the boys got Heineken's. The total cost for 5 was 2,000. I tasted the BF's burger (he loves burgers as much as I do) and it was good as well. He got the Va Va Va Boom Burger with Chili, Cheese, Chili Mayonnaise, Onion and Pickles 215 Baht. I liked it as well. We all like our main course and I really liked the onion rings buttermilk battered. None of the boys like the fries. We all agree, we gave Duke's Express a 3.5 out of 5.

I think there is so much hatred for MS that few speak of the things it did do. It brought personal computer software to the masses. They held a monopoly for a while and IMHO, they have made an tremendous impact. Remember DOS? It just turned 30 yesterday. For me, I have to say Google. It did change the way businesses do business. Working for many companies over the years that want higher rankings in Google, there is no company that is successful that does not realize the importance of the Google Search Rankings. Now, they are kicking ass with Google Plus IMHO. It may be a facebook killer. Before Google, I used Dogpile. It was great and gave you lists from a variety of search engines. It was pretty amazing and yet Google kicked ass with the algorithm they came up with. Still today, if you have a company that does anything on the Internet and you don't have a high Google ranking it is because you didn't do the work to get it there. I love Apple and their 73Billion dollar cash pile they have accumulated. I think they are a great company. I think they have had an amazing impact on my daily life as I use their products every day. If they weren't around, I'd still have a PC and it would still work great and I'd do everything the same only with lots of viruses and lets pretty things in my life. But, for me, it has made a big impact. What about the impact of Murdoch's empire? The 100 sites he owns? What about Yahoo? AOL? Who would have thought 20 years ago, AOL would be on its last leg? I grew up with it and still use it as a primary e-mail.

California Wow and the Inflation of Prices plus a hard sell
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Yes, me too. That is why I got it in Bangkok. FYI: they gave to a Thai friend of mine just a few weeks back for 11,000. They lie more than a used car salesman. Just an FYI, I told them I was most interested in the Silom and Paragon clubs. I asked if there were any plans to shut those locations down. The main manager said NO. Today at my gym, not Cal Wow, the manager told me it was reported the Silom branch was closing in September. LOL Not sure until it happens, but his trainers also work there too. IMHO, they need to close Silom, too many degenerates there wanting sex in the showers. I hate it when they just give it away for free. -
First, there are several options for visa runs in Bangkok. Many of them leave after 9:00 AM and that puts the return at rush hour. I wanted to avoid this so I choose Jack Golf Visa. I sent an e-mail and got a confirmation immediately. I told them I didn't want to go on a day with the van but wanted the bus as it would be more comfortable. They said today was the day for the bus but normally every M, W, F they have full bus. It was full again today. You must get there by 4:40 AM. They leave from Sukhumvit Soi 12 in front of the 7-11 and in the same plaza as the old B and N. They take your passport, have you sign some papers and tell you to get on the bus. The bus was packed and many people were trying to take 2 seats to sleep. I had to tell one guy to sit up so I could sit down. The ride was fine to get there. It was bumpy and shaky and I don't see how anyone would sleep. Once at the border, they give you a Jack Golf Badge and tell you to take your Passport through immigration. They wait on the other side of the Thailand immigration and they take the passport again. You get into a van to be taken to the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. Breakfast was OK and included in the price. We had 2 hours so I played slots. I lost less than 1k baht and played for over an hour. We had a meeting time and were taken back to immigration where we were given our passports, already with the Thai Immigration stamps and walked through. The lines were think but they cleared a special line for Jack Golf customers only. Some Koreans tried to get in line with us and the officer kicked them out. I had one carton of cigs for the boyfriend. One other guy had 4 and was fined 7k baht and they were taken. The ride back was HOT. The air con does not cool the bus. Everyone was sweaty. We had a 10 minute stop where the bus sat in the shade and it was then cool for the last hour. They have 3 stops. I got off at the first one as it was near the highway and I took the motorway to my hotel. I didn't want to go directly into Bangkok traffic. The cost of everything was 2100 baht and everything ran smooth. I met some nice people and had some good conversations. The only disadvantage was the bus was old (they said new) and the air con didn't put out (neither does my bf at times so I understood). For those that need an extension, or like me, have to leave every 90 days, Jack Gold was professional, quick and easy. http://www.jackgolf.com/en/visa_run/

I am embarrassed at American politics. If they don't get a deal done that is fair, I'll vote against any incumbent in office. If Obama signs a bill that repeals part of his health care bill, I'm done with him. It is a sad state of affairs when you feel that your country has less intelligence than Thailand. I love Thailand but the people here are often uneducated and stupid. IMHO, the American people are slightly better educated and even more stupid. What a bunch of fools to buy all the shit that gets thrown at them. I grow more weary of the USA every day!

Thank goodness it is different strokes for different folks. Otherwise, you would all fall in love with my boyfriend (loyal and honest as he is).

The New York Times had a great side by side view of the plans proposed. It is obvious to me that they were close. I wonder what kept them so far apart? Is this going to the way things work in Washington from now on? This is a simple view of the circus in DC. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2011/07/22/us/politics/20110722-comparing-deficit-reduction-plans.html?smid=tw-nytimes

Free ride? You told it is free to California Wow and I took your trip. You said the ride was free but you services were billable at 4500 baht per hour (rounded up to the closest hour). So, one ride cost me 4500 baht. Jeeze. My motorcycle taxi drive takes me there, picks me up for the return and gives a good blow job for 1,000 baht. You need to reconsider your prices. Well, fountainhall, there are many that invest in bars in Thailand hoping to make a fortune. I don't think this business model is any worst. Do you?

We have thought a great deal about this and decided to hire a guy to give this a test run in Bangkok for our new business. First day was very successful and we will have to sit down and run the numbers to see if we think we will be able to make ends meet with the new business. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYZHjKlk7Go
