You have no idea of what I hoped a gay community would be. And, while I may be removed from the gay hating queers, I am not removed from those who believe in acceptance and kindness and tolerance. I don't see porn stars and hiring escorts as the same and while I'll defend both, I don't think you can relate my hiring to porn stars in gay pride parades. But, if you can, please prove me wrong!

I don't think the porn stars in the NYC Pride Parade represent me any more than Hillary Clinton walking the entire parade route. People take photos of a very small segment of the parade and think that is the entire parade. Having marched in many parades, I am very happy that we have Hillary marching, the Dikes on Bikes (bare breasted), the Rentboy float, the transvestites and tranny marchers and the gay porn stars. I don't think any group represents me any more than another because for me it is about accepting all groups equally. We are sexual beings thank goodness. We are also the group that keeps Broadway running. We are one of the most active groups in supporting legal rights for all. I can go on and on and I am proud to be a part of such a great group. I don't think any group should be left out of the parades. It is about acceptance and tolerance for all. IMHO
