Thailand has very organized tourist facilities, such as transportation, etc. Thus, making it easy to get around and have tourist like experiences. The Philippines, as an example, is a mess.

Although I like Bangkok very much, I almost always combine it with a side trip to Pattaya.

Back in the day Thai was up there with Singapore but on my last 2 trips it was a disappointment. If you fly in summer, forget about it. They keep the cabin way too hot.

Tossing and turning is your body's way of searching for the comfort level it needs for proper sleep. Some foreign made mattress toppers do not have to pass the same chemical or fire standards that United States foam manufactures do. These foreign products often contain nasty chemicals that can cause allergic reactions and are not safe to sleep on. If you do get a reaction get rid of the mattress topper as soon as possible. 95% of the mattress toppers are safe.

I believe that the only safe way to lose weight is to totally change our eating patterns. It is those that led to increased weight so, even if we lose weight on a diet, if we then go back to our old eating habits, the weight will go back too. If we eat less than we need, we will lose weight. When all the excess weight has gone, keep to the same healthy diet but with slightly increased levels of food to maintain your weight and say goodbye to yo-yo dieting.

Although I don't often eat american food while in Thailand, the Sizzler in Royal Garden Plaza has always been ok. The service has always been good. With all the other better choices in the area I would put Sizzler closer to the bottom of my list of places to eat.

This discussion reminds me of a time in my youth. A friend invited me to go to a gay biker bar to meet some masculine men. What I found was men dressed up in motorcycle garb and sharing quiche recipes. At that time, it wasn't what I was expecting. Now, I realize that sharing a good recipe is a whole lot of fun!

If your ex lives close by you could always take him out to dinner with a few of his friends, just to make sure he has a nice time on his special day. Be sure to include your current BF so there is no jealousy. A nice gift would be appropriate, but nothing that would eclipse what you'd give your current BF. Staying friends with an ex is always a good move and something that can enrich both of your lives. After all is said and done, you have some history to share. Hopefully, your ex has a new beau and he should also be invited to the celebration.

I can't imagine you even remembering all your ex's. I guess it certainly helps when you're computer savvy! LOL

If income is your goal, then you can sell banner ads, accept advertising from hotels, bars. clubs, dating websites, massage places, etc. The sky is the limit. It seems to me that this site has so much potential without it looking like a place for escorts, etc. That is just my thoughts. What do others think?

I used my AMEX at a very nice hotel to secure lodging while staying in BKK recently. Two days later I got an email from AMEX asking about a charge of $2500 for some jewelry purchased in Chiang Mai. I hadn't been in Chaing Mai to make this purchase. AMEX cancelled the card and the charge was removed. Anyone else ever had any problems with credit cards in LOS?

Why not get rid of those escort photos on the top of every page? None of them seem to be Thai. Having those type of photos makes your board look sleazy. Is that the image you're really looking for? I sincerely doubt that!

When you refer to the lump sum payment, do you mean that as the amount held in a Thai bank for a retirement visa, or something else? Thanks.

I'm planning on spending more time in Thailand than the usual 2-3 week vacation a few times a year. Yes, I'm from the USA, so I need to take that into consideration. So guys, what bank in Thailand do you use and why did you choose that one? Any regrets? Thanks for your input!
