Makes 3 of us at least that missed out ๐

I've always asked for a non smoking room and never had a room with a slightest smell of smoking.

Tarntawan for me, I haven't stayed there in a long time but at the moment it's looking like my hotel of choice for the next trip.

Would be real nice with robotics, multiple speeds for slow sex all the way up to a pounding ๐

Might I ask which of the 6 main walks in Kakadu you plan on taking, I've been there a few times and they range from easy to a challenging climb? Or per chance did you mean Kokoda track in PNG?

The first gay "forum" I found and joined was cruisingforsex which had some good bits about Bangkok (mostly cruising spots), the owner of that one (Keith) passed away and his friend Bob took over but unfortunately it became too much as other sites became popular (like Squirt). I'm not sure where I got pointed in the direction of this forum / website but I am very happy I did get here, I have picked up so much good advice and tips from the members here and have enjoyed reading other members trip reports and adventures. I also enjoyed Dreaded Ned's and Dragoncastle as they had plenty of good things on their sites.

I wouldn't mind being at the fireworks tonight but I dislike crowds and the eastern foreshore down here will be packed like never before. I haven't celebrated a new year's since about 1985 as I was just about always rostered on at work (or previous to that out bush with the army training / patrolling) and just haven't bothered since retirement. A nice steak dinner with a few quality red wines and a good night's sleep will do me for tonight and is the usual now ๐ท

Where I usually am, in bed asleep ๐ด

I agree with PeterRS about Brunei, have been twice (a long time back now but not for sex though) but won't be going back especially since they adopted sharia law. It is now one of those countries that you visit at your own risk.

Or as I like to call it 'foreplay' ๐ Arena is my rough and ready massage shop, I can always get good service there ๐

I used to take an older phone to Thailand for any contacts there and just get a local SIM but last trip I took my regular phone and just left it in the hotel room safe, I had that to check messages every few days as I was awaiting notification of a medical procedure back home. I did take my Samsung tablet and used Line on that if I wanted to be in touch with anyone (especially the massage shops), I didn't miss carrying a phone around so I guess I'm a bit of a dinosaur ๐ Excuse for taking an older phone was if I lost it or it got stolen it wouldn't have been a worry as I keep nothing serious on the phones.

Wishing for everyone to have a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year ๐ท๐

Definitely a day person, up at 6am to get ready for breakfast, after breakfast it's the gym (if the hotel has one) or a nice long walk if the hotel doesn't have a gym. Usually head off on my daily excursions around 9:30 / 10am ish (which includes afternoon massage and fun) and back to hotel by 5:30 / 6pm ish for shower and change then off for dinner and a few drinks. Bed time is usually by 10pm then repeat the next day, I'm just not a bar or show person so relatively early nights give me the rest for the following day. If the hotel has a pool I may make an hour or so available for a swim in the afternoon, especially on days when not much is planned. The main change to that schedule is if I'm heading off for a day trip out of Bangkok, then it will be off after breakfast and back to hotel around 6:30 / 7pm ish, then shower and out for dinner etc.

I usually just make some notes covering the important parts (places, prices, good or bad etc) in a notebook and the rest comes from memory after that. If out touring (the non sex related stuff) it's much the same thing, plus I may have some photos to help jog the memory.
-
Can't open it either. So what I want for Christmas would be a nice hot Thai guy with a lovely hard cock (but that comes next year ๐ฎโ๐จ). Failing that a speedy recovery will do and so far so good on the recovery ๐

I haven't been able to log in to the other boards for a very long time, I have used the forgot password option many times but zero happens and must say I haven't really missed them that much either. This board is the best in my view.

On my bucket list is a visit to the WW1 battlefield sites in France and Belgium but there is one thing I know I will truly hate about that trip (whenever it happens) is the French language / accent ๐คช

When people (like sports stars but it's spreading) in Australia are being asked a question the first words out of their mouths in response is "yeah nah", gawd but I hate that.

Technically yes Australians can visit Iran (at this point in time only god knows why though) however the following is from our governments smart traveller website.

In Australia as of October 22 2025, there have been just 203 confirmed infections across the country, with Victoria and NSW recording the bulk of cases. Apparently in 2024 there was 1409 cases.

After a few red wines I shall be in bed sound asleep by midnight as per usual at that time of year. As for my bucket list, right at the top is to heal properly and get a trip to Bangkok in the latter half of 2026 and get to enjoy some fun times and get intertwined with some hot brown bodies again๐

I've seen some news reports in The Straits Times of people going into Singapore from Thailand with cannabis in their luggage and they all pretty much said the same dumb thing "oh sorry I forgot I had it but I bought it legally in Thailand", I guess that's the defence by ignorance attempt. Of course the Singapore authorities couldn't care less if it was purchased elsewhere legally or not and that excuse just didn't work. Maybe they should have taken a few minutes to double check their luggage before leaving Thailand.

I have never carried my passport around with me when overseas except for the currency exchanges that require the passport and then it goes straight back to the room safe after the transaction, I carry my driver's license and a photocopy of my passport information page and visa / stamp page. On my last trip to Bangkok X-One currency exchange accepted the photocopy as identification. I also have my passport in an RFID sleeve which helps to keep it in very good condition.

I'm there now, in my head that is lol (reminiscing on past massage shops and the fun filled times there) but alas it still looks like late 2026 for the next fun trip to Bangkok. The surgery went well and now the recovery starts, in the meantime I will be doing a lot of lurking here and enjoying the posts and trip reports and want to say a big thanks to you guys for sharing your trip reports.

Haha when I moved to this town 10 years ago I had a land line but due to the non stop scam callers it soon went into the rubbish bin.
