Power Boys is next to Nice Boys.   When looking for slim cute lads not covered in tatoos, Power Boys has  been the better of the two bars.    

 

I also don't quite see why Nice Boys gets such favourable reviews.   However, different people have different tastes.

Was Power Boys smoky or not.  That has been a big issue for me. Smells like an ashtray but otherwise ok.

Yesterday manager in bar say that they try shift bar to Jomtien Complex. But first need sell original property.

Many people have written that gogo bars are not allowed in Jomtien.   

 

If that's the case, it would be another sad loss if Power Boys became yet another host bar.

They have raised their prices to 180 baht for an alcohol drink for the customer and 190 baht for boydrink. The most expensive bar in the Suneearea. Low numbers of boys every time I've looked inside during the last months.

190 baht for customer gin and tonic. 200 baht for boydrinks nowadays. About 5-10 boys in the bar every time I've visited. Seems to be a less popular bar than the other gogos in Sunee.

The police are raiding Powerboys right now. Police officers are standing and blocking the door and it looks like they're checking boys ID inside. Seems like only this bar is targeted and all other bars in Sunee open as usual.

There's a ladies agogo bar right across Jomtian complex after the arch leading to the beach, if that is what you are looking for.

By "ladies" I assume you mean straight. How you might conclude that I'm looking for a straight bar is puzzling to me. No, I understand that there are no MALE go bars in Jomtien complex and I asked if that is by the complex's regulations or not.

 Go-go bars are not permitted in Jomtien. Jomtien is a different political entity from Pattaya. It has nothing to do with the rules of the Complex.

Ah, thanks Kokopelli. I googled Pattaya and Jomtien and tried to determine if they were the same municipality and the results were confusing. So, they are different towns. Thanks.

I was basing my reply on some info I received some time ago and it is wrong.  Jomtien Beach is one of the 7 sub areas of Pattaya.

 

Quite likely there are no go-gos in Jomtien Complex due to some sort of rules, such as zoning,  governing that activity.
