Walking home from Silom Complex through Soi Sala Daeng, I noticed the soi blocked by police and electricity company cars and several utility poles broken, resulting in part of the soi being without electricity. The center of the accident seems to be at Senso, with structural damage to upper floors. As far as I can judge, it will take days until all damage is repaired and everywhere has electricity and data connection again.

I saw the news on TV this afternoon.

The residents at the nearby condo “ Silom Grand Terrace” were told electricity will not back up today.

I was by there a few hours ago. It was a mess. Looked like maybe one pole snapped and then that took others.

Drew quite a crowd of people.

I just came by there on the way back to my condo at 1:30am. Street still closed and a security officer keeping people out, but many of the trucks and mess that was there this afternoon are gone. It’s a pretty rainy night so doubt much work will get done till it stops.

isn't regular price 300 and second drink 150 ? LOL

 

( once in Mandalay  I was buying small painting and price for one was 10 $  but I was told ' we have promotion , 2 for 25 " , I'm not making it up, picture on my wall is silent witness.

There were about half a dozen men with real male musculature that would be of particular interest to Vinapu et al, a dozen more with potential to grow, while the rest were about right to be on stage, and one was rather scrawny in comparison to the Gods. They all were featured in all manner of attire, with a few appearing always with shirts on. one can  always slip say , 20 baht into hand of waiter actually bringing the drink.

 

we neatly moved from Senso troubles to Moonlight shine so I wonder if  Sala Daeng is cleared of debris and things are back to normal or world needs to wait till Monday.

From their website, good to see they have a notification up, a lot of places in this world wouldn't. Hope it doesnt take too long.

Passed twice today by Senso, building looks damaged and is locked abandoned. Unless they move to some other location and do it fast , we may consign them to memories , in my case , very happy memories
