November 28, 20187 yr Recently in a post in the tipping topic (which was closed), someone wrote about ordering bottle of whisky in gogo bar. Want to ask whether the bars allow the bottle to be kept if cannot finish it in one night. If yes, how long are they willing to keep it?
November 28, 20187 yr I know in Twilight they will keep the bottle for you. I know of bottles being held up to a week, but don’t know if there is a time limit for holding them.
November 28, 20187 yr Popular Post The rules seem to change on a bar by bar basis e.g. -In some bars the all-in price includes all mixers until the bottle is finished and can be used on multiple nights -In some the all-in price includes all mixers that night, but they charge you corkage of say 500B on the second night, sometimes the corkage is so high that it makes more sense to just buy a new bottle. In these cases I usually leave the part bottle for staff to drink -In other bars the all in price only includes 8 mixers and you have to pay for subsequent mixers The length of time that they will keep a bottle also varies, but I have never seen any bar that keeps more than a month. You might also find that the 50% of a bottle that you left in the bar has become 40% (or lower) the next time you go back to the bar... damn evaporation!
