Anyone has the latest info this city? Found on the net that there are/were a couple of saunas with boys. Some reviewers says they are permanently closed.  

Going there tomorrow for a couple of days.  Worst case scenario I'll be cruising at the gay nude beach and sem boys saunas. 

I last asked a year ago in Porto Alegre.

I was told the saunas are closed (because it's just too seasonal) but there'd be plenty of guys available on Grindr and Vivalocal in the summer.

This question was also covered recently in a previous post. That post comibined with the new answers here is perhaps more informative overall. I myself have found it helpful to pull up more complete info by using the forum search fields as an adjunct to putting forward an inquiry. Re Floripa you won't be swamped. 

Stayed near Mole beach which is near to the nude beach.  Lots of hot nude guys on the beach and fucking in the bushes. Quite a sight.  

Having said that, the traffic is atrocious during summer. Uber is plenty but getting in and out of the lagoon area is proven to be a feat. Knowing this and what is to offer, I might have stayed longer in Rio. 

Asked some locals and yes there are no sauna com garotos in the city. Tried a Bruno from vivalocal.  Went to his place for a massage with sexo. It was so so and he is from Porto Alegre.  I think I met him once in Mezzuniu.

Tried a couple of normal saunas.  Adelino is a bust.  Its a 'spa' for men and the crowd demographic is older than most rest homes with exception of 1 or 2. 

Oceano is good. Hot guys plentiful. Had a good time there. 

Floripa is an awesome place to TAKE guys you already know.   Very high quality of life there, always scores high as to where Brazilians themselves would like to retire.  Charming B&Bs and excellent restaurants.  As was posted above though avoid it like the plague in the peak (summer; here that is) months though, as traffic is just horrendous and the Island overrun.   In terms of beaches, avoid Canasvieiras, a cheap and tacky tourist racket,  although Praia Brava is  always amazing for the hot crowd, as is Jurere Internacional.   Although not particularly gay, excellent nightlife around the Lagoa area.
