i am back mid April in Belo Horizonte for a weekend then 8 days in Rio and a night in SP

the paperwork signing was delayed until tomorrow so i think it will be next monday but i will post tomorrow when i find out!

A random question but if anyone goes and is able to report back on the size of the lockers it would be appreciated! Am in Rio in March and I am wondering if feasible to check out of hotel head to sauna with luggage and then duck straight across to the airport after sauna (assuming just have carry on luggage - one of those tumi wheels cases). 

I will be in Rio for several days beginning on March 13th. I will still plan to head to 117 that first night, then Pointe 202 on Wednesday, but I will definitely check out this new place as well. It does make the planning a bit more difficult, but I'm glad it opened before my trip rather than after, because then I would have FOMO! At least I will get to check it out for myself.

One option is to go to SDU first ... it is very close ... and use a storage locker. The company "Malex" runs them at many airports. But email them first to check the info is current.

Anyone visited MRs yet?

The FB page doesn't say much. Do they have free cabin nights and if so which night? - free cabin nights are usually busy nights for boys?

it isn’t open yet and will probably take several months before a pattern of which nights are the busiest as everyone will not be going there the first night, or week!! so as of now there are NO free cabin nights!

would you recommend going to it first few nights if it opens? Will it be party atmosphere? As I prefer to only visit one sauna each night 

ithe first night or two will be a mix of close friends of Acir and guys checking out the new sauna in town!  i am sure there will be some hiccups as with any business on the first couple of days(i think hotels idea of a soft opening is a smart idea!). that’s one reason i like not going until April by then all the kinks should be worked out!

So the new sauna opens today. 

Not sure if I should pay it a visit. The only thing I am sure about is that tomorrow (Tuesday) it will have free suites. It is quite brave to choose Tuesday as a free suites day, since is also the best day at 117. 

i have a feeling it will be packed tonight. 

i heard a lot of the guys at Pointe are asking about it as Junior is not the nicest/easiest guy to work for, and Acir has a good reputation among the working guys!  Since Acir lived in the US from the time he was 18 to 35 he understands marketing and competition so i think he is smart to not concede any day/night to the competition!

I have the same feeling. But different. I think it will be packed with customers instead of garotos. 

Anyways I have heard the same thing. Many guys from Pointe are talking about it. 

While it might not hit 117, Pointe could suffer from this new sauna opening

This month at 202 entrance Thursdays is reduced from 60 to 30. Suites continue free Mon/Wed/Fri.

I agree... Same good Monday of all the weeks. 

Of course I am not sure if in MR they were having some guys from 117 which was closed. But I don't think so. I have been asking 2 garotos I know from 117 if they were going and they told me they were not. 

Can be a lie of course. 

i was told it was a great opening but i didn’t get a breakdown of clients:/ boys. tonight they are doing free rooms. Most if not all the help is experienced, coming from the existing saunas.
