People can be just as anti-social with a newspaper or with a book! Mobile phones have transformed our lives in the last couple of decades, mostly for good I think, it is just that some of us older ones still find some of the technology/apps a bit of a mystery haha.

This is so true. I honestly don't know what I'd do without my 'phone these days. I, too, am guilty as charged for going to a cafe to sit there looking at my 'phone.
