October 6, 20214 yr Weeks after picking up the Emmy Award for hair style and make up design, Bridgerton's Marc Pilcher has died of Covid aged 53. Pilcher had had his two vaccinations and several negative tests before and after flying to Los Angeles to pick up the Award. He had no underlying conditions. Yet still he died. I do not know how frequently this happens but I expect it highlights the need to continue wearing masks and socially distance.

October 6, 20214 yr Few things to ponder, when did he gets his vaccine as after 6 month or so, effectiveness drop, and what kind of vaccine? Regardless, vaccine is not 100%.
October 6, 20214 yr My guess is that a case like this is extremely rare. But I agree there's been a good deal of research showing that the mRNA vaccines have reduced effectiveness over time. It also depends quite a bit on each individual. Some people have stronger immune response to the vaccines than others based a host factors.
