I think at least some of them could not go back because the boarder was closed.

I hope the Cambodian boys are back in number when I arrive for my next trip. I’ve offed a number of them over the years and they are usually, keen to please. But when that trip will happen I do not know - maybe 2021

Yes but it’s now more than five months since I returned from my February trip. 10 months without visiting gay thailand - how bad is that.

it's bad , I know. In a week it will be exactly 10 months since my return from my brief Oct 2019 trip

For reasons unknown, Cupidol open nightly with zero customers and zero boys on the stage.  The outside patio gets busy but

why it bothers to stay open is odd, at least to me, after checking 4-5 different nights and times.  Toy Boys was doing the same

thing but is now closed for a week or two..

Tonight, Cupidol had several shirtless boys in jeans on the stage.  An 

improvement.  First time I’ve seen any customers inside.  It’s been open now

for many weeks.  Boyzboyzboyz had a fair crowd for the show, but plenty

of room.  Xboys had a fun show with many boys and about a dozen customers.

Yes tight low slung jeans are sometimes a turn on but on the stage of a gay Gogo boys should wear very little. A few years ago Cupidol used to be known for twinks but that was not the case when I visited in February.

Cupidol posts regularly on Facebook, and always happy to 'like' their posts, however they do keep continually recycling old pictures, many several years old. Were we, by some miracle, able to return to visit the bar tonight I doubt we would recognise any of the boys shown on their 'recent' publicity pictures.

That said, it seems a failing of so many of Pattaya's boy bars - just keep churning out the same old photographs year after year - Eros was terrible for that. Only X-Boys seems to occasionally update its pictures and clips.

Contrast that with the girl bars of Soi 6 where, for example, the ferocious publicity machine of the NightWish group keeps a constant stream of pictures posted of new arrivals, return of old favourites, etc., a consequence being that they are still attracting a steady stream of (admittedly mostly exPat) customers during these dark months.
