Guadalajara was ranked as the number 1 gay city in Mexico. Not sure if this is still true. I was there in the early 2000s and definitely thinking about going back. When I was there, there were several gay bars (I didn't go), quite a few saunas, and this was pre-Grindr, so I met a lot of guys on the street. I hung out in a plaza in the central part of town where there's a huge pedestrian area and guys just found me. I also picked up a soldier in the main zocolo. I was younger, and no one asked for money back then. I'm sure with Grindr, you'll be able to meet a lot of people. I don't know about the bars and saunas, but I am assuming they are still there. That being said, I'd vote for Puerto Vallarta (in Jalisco, the same state for which Guadalajara is the capital) being the most gay. It's certainly much more concentrated. The number of gay bars and restaurants may even be greater in PV than in MC. One would certainly say that PV is Mexico's "gay mecca." There are lots of luxury bus companies running the Guadalaja to PV circuit, and the road between the two cities (on the luxury lines) is quite good. vinapu 1 Quote
floridarob Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Mexico City is SOOOO much better and I'd put Monterrey in 2nd place.... although escorts all over Mexico are getting more expensive, Mexico City, Like @Mavica said, the shear numbers just work in your favor and the number of saunas and sex parties/orgies that happen on a regular basis plus the pop ups/special events, street trade.... PVR is rich gringo queens from California overpaying for everything, has been the biggest turnoff for me there for over 20 years 🥺 Quote
