Yep we ended up at Bella Paulista that night because all the restaurants were closed. Hot guys central 24/7.

I expect that was due to the Pride crowd. I’ve enjoyed a bite there on several occasions but have not noticed much eye candy of note. Perhaps more in the wee hours when I’m asleep.

July 19 update on Python.

I was glad to hear SP again had a second GP sauna venue — Python. Sadly, when I visited Saturday night at 7:00 it was a big disappointment.

The scene was strange. Only about six bored, unimpressive GPs were loitering around, making no effort to chat up the many clients. Two crowded rooms had 40-50 clients, but none showed any interest in "cruising." I stayed for about 45 minutes and never saw any pairs go downstairs to the suites. The steam room and dry sauna were both empty.

Connordrick (on his later visit) and Brall3 also both commented on the shortage of GPs. That was certainly again true when I was there more recently. (Maybe the GPs arrive quite late?)

FloridaRob reported that the GPs resembled a mix of the Meio Mundo, Bangu, and (RIP) Fragata gene pool. That well describes the small sample I saw. And I did not see anybody of interest.

FloridaRob said it was cold and drafty with open windows. It was also cold when Connordrick visited. Happily, they have figured out how to close the windows. Saturday night the main rooms were warm and cozy.

FloridaRob liked the nice receptionist and attentive bar staff. Me too. The receptionist got a GP to give me a full tour of the place. If not offered, be sure to request the tour. The large R$100 VIP suite is quite something to see, and the regular suites are very nice too.

FloridaRob enjoyed hanging out with the many locals for a long time. Wish I were as fluent in Portuguese, but even so that does not interest me. I prefer more physical intercultural relations. Since the GP prospects were so slim, I won't be rushing back. I will wait until the reports here make Python sound more appealing.

Last week I visited Python the night of bingo.  I noticed that the large entry room with tables is now divided into two rooms.  As you enter, the first section has a few tables and now a stage where bingo and shows are not held.  Previously bingo and the shows were held in the basement.  Like other recent posters experienced, there were very few program guys; maybe five or six.  The program guys did not appear to be very interested in hooking up with any clients:  I will not speculate why not.  There were a lot of clients, sitting at tables, drinking and chatting with each other; very social.

As usual, bingo was a circus.  It seems that everyone wants to be a comedian and will shout comments after each bingo number is called.  HOW ANNOYING and the bingo game takes a long time to complete.   This was the case with bingo at Lagoa when Carlota, the bingo caller was there.  Now bingo at Lagoa is without all the annoying yelling, a few yes but not as much as before.  After the very long, loud, and annoying first bingo game, I left and went to Lagoa.  Lagoa was crowded with both clients and program guys.

The various shows at the saunas are nice, but I and most of the clients are there for the program guys.  With that thought in mind,  BINGO, Lagoa is the winner hands down.

After posting about Python's shortcomings and writing "I won't be rushing back," I confess I returned a few days later. I was persuaded to meet up with a cute fav btm who dislikes Lagoa.

As a kind of "love hotel," Python is not a bad bargain place to rendezvous, half to a third less expensive than Lagoa depending on the night.

We arrived soon after it opened at 5:15 and by 5:30 it was clear that Friday night was, as reputed, going to have more action.

Later, when we came back upstairs after the first romp (me exhausted), the GPs were more flirtatious than during the previous visit. The most handsome one was almost Lagoa-level seductive.

He was irresistible so, after a good but slow chicken nugget dinner, we had a great three-way. I'm seeing him again tonight.

Bottom line (so to speak): I'm suddenly less opposed to Python.

(By the way, I was told that currently GPs can enter Python for free.)

Not sure if its changed, but previously before 7pm was free and if they were living there (they have some rooms for workers there) as well.

Like you said, it's nice to walk out of there seeing the final charges on your bill so much lower than Lagoa.....
