I will explore the cities and also I would like to hire as much GPs as I can using my money wisely. I am not cheap but I don't want to get rid of it. I am new on this forum and I have learned a lot from you guys experiences. So what have you gained so far? I hope that you can suspend some of the bossiness put forward here and focus on having a good time with common sense. I actually figured out how to define fair and reasonable costs in a manner of a few hours during my first visit a decade ago, without the benefit (using that term very loosely) of input from a forum such as this. There’s nothing unique or special about me that facilitated that quickly acquired knowledge. Among the most amusing aspects of this topic is that I have been both falsely accused of overpaying and of being cheap, depending on whatever end game upon which a troll has set its three eyes. I can only concede a little to being stingy but that realization is connected to whatever rates others have been perfectly entitled to shell out. Enjoy the month above all! Quote

If you learned anything, It should be to ignore trolls like riobard, I've met him...he's just as weird in person and full of himself, in case you didn't pick that up from his writing style. I asked a few of the guys in the sauna about him, they also said he's weird and don't understand him, so take that for what it's worth 🤷♂️ If the GP feels like you are a virgin, and new to the scene...some will try to get you for more money, some being the key word, so it's best to know what the "standard" pricing is and to be very clear what you expect, using Google translate if needed. If you were to have a disagreement, in a sauna, don't be shy or hesitant to ask the guy as reception for help... I've seen them amicably settle disputes easily over the years, don't get extorted or hurt feelings, it's a transaction, sex for money. Latbear4blk and Mavica 2 Quote

My session at Lagoa went well until, as we departed, the GP named Cayo (not a regular there) demanded an extra 100 after I paid the agreed R$200. (This was not the smiling request for a drink that sometimes follows a good tryst.) He become angry when I declined. He seemed to think he could intimidate me and became increasingly loud and hysterical. I walked over to the reception desk and asked that he tell the GP to stop harassing me. Instead, they threw him out immediately! First time, after decades of many visits to Brazil, I've ever had such an incident. But the good guy at the reception desk put a quick end to the problem. Members Riobard Posted 5 hours ago Members Posted 5 hours ago I think a troll’s nerve must really have been struck. Said troll has previously written … yes, receipts in fact exist here on the board … that one Riobard upon meeting for a few seconds in a loud barroom was perceived to be friendly and educated. But then, to paraphrase said troll: “one's perception is one’s reality” … in this case all over the map, no? Today’s commentary is, no doubt, manufactured and opinions from acompanhantes have actually neither been sought nor obtained by this unfortunate chap. The guy is upset, feeling insulted, and desperately both raising Cain and frantically waving his cane. In actuality he had suggested in a follow-up text that we could have dinner in Sampa. This resides in my W’zap zip file, an extended array of friendly and enjoyable communication at the time, a chat that I had kept in fact due to its merits. With his permission I’d be more than keen to append it … these are essentially bona fide receipts in a manner of speaking, in contrast to what is upthread a steaming pile of hooey regarding obviously made up transactions. I’d say “what fun” in a Boys in the Band manner, but for it being so pathetic, representing lack of wellness, and a hostile attempt at piling on with fake news. I don’t think it can or should escalate further at this point … Houston, we’d have a problem … but who among us would accept taking fabricated tales lying down? Others here might say to employ the Ignore function. I often do. Quote

Instead, they threw him out immediately! First time, after decades of many visits to Brazil, I've ever had such an incident. But the good guy at the reception desk put a quick end to the problem. One of my spa regulars a few years back described an incident in which a newbie massage client, age late 60’s and a bit frail, had recently been punched and knocked out by an acompanhante and I offered to speak to the chap by phone as he was quite shaken. The massage therapist had made several attempts to reach out among his contacts for support for him, and I was one of a few willing to talk to the poor guy. I just let him vent and didn’t bombard him with details about his home origins etc but I think he was Anzac or South African based on my dealings with the large academic diaspora of clinical colleagues in my uni Medicine faculty days. Evidently there was a long wait for a suite and after waiting for about 5 minutes he apologized that the timing wouldn’t work out due to a later dinner commitment. The acompanhante followed him to the change room where the client extended his hand and expressed hoping to meet the next day or going forward over the upcoming weeks. Next thing he knew he was being pulled up off the floor by staff. The offender was thrown out and banned and the client was provided a copy of the ID on file including phone number. The client shortly afterwards saw his ad with pics in the Skokka listings, same #. Parenthetically, he joked about what a gorgeous appendage had been missed as a result of the unfortunate assault incident. What a Neanderthal, though, impulsively sabotaging a likely lucrative source of income. Who knows whether Rodolfo eventually granted probation. All I could do was commiserate and express that things had moved so quickly but that it appeared a tip had been expected for having consumed a few minutes of time, although much lengthier exchanges often don’t culminate in a programa. He experienced tinnitus and spent BRL1,500 getting checked out for concussion at a private local hospital as he had sustained both the fist blow to his right temple and his head likely struck the floor when flattened out. The guy realized that a modest symbolic-grade gratuity would have been no problem had he been savvier. Not all would agree, I suppose and of course I side with Xclay regarding his own account. He was happy about the silver lining aspect of having subsequently met a few great spa sex workers because there was no way he would return to Lagoa or any other such brothel although I offered the opinion that this was an extreme outlier experience. In ten years I have not had the misfortune of run-ins with any sex worker in Brazil. In that constituency does not nearly comparatively lie the possibility of treachery.😏 Quote

Well I suspect that the urge to be ostentatious may undermine such intent. I do think that you may be decent enough to merit other retirement hobbies. … And as long as the oxygen masks drop as needed. Quote
Members Riobard Posted 3 hours ago Members Posted 3 hours ago One main thing I’m trying to get across is that the payment playbook consists of competing narratives and those that want to pay the least don’t appreciate their attempts at leadership being challenged. Monetarily this makes sense; having fun without breaking the bank makes more sense. Also, until you’ve had a substantial period of experience observing the range of sex workers towards which various punters gravitate you won’t get that prices approaching rock bottom are associated with trade that a lot of us don’t perceive to be very physically attractive. This confounds the endless discussion. On this topic I can count on one hand the number of perspectives that I consider sound and valuable, irrespective of how we get along otherwise. Other than that, in Brazil nothing about the practice is particularly pricey by western standards. Quote
