The question is have you ever hired a guy who was not a regular money boy in Thailand?

I often wonder if I would dare to ask say a hotel porter /bellboy if he was willing for the exchange?

I'm quite fascinated at the moment by the Thailand boys on Facebook who dance topless and yes I sent a few messages to them , unfortunately nothing in reply

if you ever bother to read one of my post-covid trip reports , you may notice that every trip I have non-scene guy visiting me at least once per trip. Usually in day time as he works shifts. 

We passed by each other on the street by chance  , I was stunned by his look so next time I saw him , which with Guardian Angel help happened to be next day I smiled at him broadly which he noticed. Day or two later we met again , that time we both smiled so we both stopped for hand shake and brief talk during which he said ' we should have drink together sometime  " . It did not happen as I was leaving next day but at least we exchanged Line.

Next trip we arranged for that drink which led to dinner which let to suggestion to have few more beers and again he suggested to save money to buy beer at 7/11 and drink it in my room. Then I knew I'm home and indeed that drinking developed to something requiring diming lights and making sure windows are covered. When it was time  for him to go home I asked him 'can I give you some money?" to which he responded "of course".

Now we have an arrangement when I'm in Bangkok he tells me when he can  visit me and its  simple 'yes or no " on my side, no fuss If I decline or ask for different time and day. Win/ win situation for both of us.

i did get message from grindr ,he work in hotel manager,he cant come to my hotel room coz it have cctv outside,staffs not allow enter customer room,they can get fired no matter they are off day duty.still same.he explained to me 

he suggested that i did go to his apartment nearby.

In Pattaya it is far from unheard of for female shop workers or similar to find themselves short of money when it comes time to pay their room rent, who will stuff their panties into their handbags and go and try their luck freelancing on Beach Road to try and get a customer or two to cover their short-fall.There is often even a boy or two as well to be found standing on the Beach along the lower parts opposite Mike's and below, although I have never yet tried to engage with one.

Personally I have had one or two experiences of non money-boys. There was this super-cute male waiter at Stonehouse on Walking Street.  We got chatting over several visits, but he insisted he was not a money boy. However his rent time fell during one of my visits and the lure of my baht was finally enough to convince him to visit my hotel for a short-time.  Success!, but tempered with him being very shy and having  to be gently coaxed out of his clothes, yet alone anything else, haha. (Second and third times with him were much easier and more fun for both of us!)

The vast majority of Karaoke boys are straight, but some will prove 'gay for pay' in the absence of female customers, particularly during low-season. One such boy from Diamond is now a regular 'top' of mine.  Another regular is a cute gay boy from Bangkok who currently works in a restaurant who will come and stay with me for two or three days each holiday on an agreed daily rate.

There are cute lads everywhere in Pattaya if you look around you, doing normal jobs. Always worth a smile at them and see what happens? If they return your smile it might just lead to you getting better aquainted with them; they might not be money-boys but they will quickly guess what's on your mind, and you never know your luck!

Gosh Vessey you are right but there is a lot of serendipity involved in many places. My favorite man I found was just standing at the butter counter at Foodmart one fine day. He was great. Of course every time I go to buy "butter" I think of him.  The chances for such encounters is great if one tunes their antenna to the right channels...

I have a trip coming up soon and thus I am tuning my antenna so reception is improved during my stay there.
