Hey fellas,

Been a minute since I posted here — missed all the laughs and wisdom from you guys. Last year I had a great trip to the DR, big shoutout to Manny for hooking me up with top-notch service. Now I’m feeling the itch to take a last-minute trip somewhere in LATAM in the next 3 weeks. Thinking 2–3 weeks total, starting late August or early September. Might even split it up and hit two cities if it works out.

Problem is… I have no idea where to go. I don’t speak Spanish or Portuguese, so I’m not sure which spots would be the easiest for me to enjoy. For context, I’m a big Black guy traveling solo, and I’m looking for somewhere that’s fun, welcoming, and maybe has a setup like the DR. Should I stick to LATAM or just say forget it and head to Thailand instead?

Depends on what you're looking for..... I'm partial to Colombia and Brasil on this side of the world and Thailand and Bali over there...... Sex is better in the first 2 generally and food, massage, deluxe hotels/flights better over there.... speaking as a bottom. I think if you're a top, asia can be good too, but as a "big" black man , if you are a Top, Asians frequently say "YOU TOO BIG" to get out of doing it, unless they really are into bottoming. They used to tell me I was too big, it's all relative, In Asia I am big vs Brasil, lol

 

Thanks for the response. Will I am blessed on both sides, I meant “big” in the form of weight and height. I have never been to Brasil or Columbia, but I think Columbia is easier vs Brasil with new travel rules and visa process.

If language is imprtnt for u, spanish is closest to english.

If u reside in the USA, flights to LATAM r cheaper.

I m a fan of colombia. M sure u'll have fun there; splitting time btw bogota, medellin, cartagena.

M unaware of any "setup like DR", with a Manny to provide service. U'll have to find them on ur own: in brazil - saunas; in colombia - brothels and clubs.

If you are an imposing Black "bottom” (from Houston?) man then you will encounter and might fit in well with the broad diversity of clients in curated settings such as Clube 117 in Rio. This year, as in years past, I witnessed a lot of the sweetheart types of visitors you describe getting along perfectly fine with their translate apps, along with a convivial brotherhood vibe. If I have read you correctly I should add that Rio sauna brothels would replicate LRD/Manny trade brokerage far more effectively than Colombia destinations, without the need of a Manny. These venues are Manny on steroids and the safety factor in an unfamiliar new place is reassuring. 

The e-visa is straightforward and covers 10 years for you.

I’m Canadian and Colombia's entry fee (3 hours queue) for us and CheckMig app required to both enter and leave the country are a far worse headache. Also be aware if you are combining nations you need Yellow Fever vaxx proof travelling into Colombia from Brazil. Colombia is also brothel light and the selection of curated trade is poor. 

If Rio you may never look back.

There is a Columbia. You’re right, though, it’s nothing new that you’ll correct another’s spelling along with a backhanded recommendation for something that exists only in the mind of a failed wannabe Spelling Bee Queen whose posts are all old … and tired.

Hate to break it to you, but Namazu is/was very much a profile here—I literally just linked one of his posts.

Meanwhile, you’re spinning out paragraphs like a wind-up toy, desperate to sound clever but only proving how tired your material is. All that ranting about spelling bees, pills, and ‘delusions,’ yet the only delusion is thinking anyone’s impressed 🙄

Thanks @floridarob, @12is12, and @Riobard for the feedback. I settled on a week Rio and a well in San Paulo. I’ll do Columbia in January.
