PeterRS Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I wonder if anyone recalls roughly when this bar closed. It was located on its own about 50 meters outside Sunee Plaza and so the location was not good as many would not have been aware of it. The boys wore very short toga-like mini-skirt with slits in the sides and were always very friendly. Drinks were not expensive as I recall and it was less openly raunchy than Eros, but designed for fun nonetheless! It also had a mezzanine level where a lot went on! On my infrequent visits to Pattaya I would pop in occasionally but it seemed not to last for very long. Quote

vinapu Posted October 3 Posted October 3 my memory of Happy Boys is not a good one. During table dance boy tried to check what I have in my shirt pocket. I never returned as it was only such case in my all bar visits in Thailand. So much about good old days Olddaddy mentioned Olddaddy 1 Quote
Popular Post a-447 Posted October 3 Popular Post Posted October 3 I visited it a few times, but the guys were too fem for me. However, I have a regular guy - I'll call him Tee - who took care of me over many trips to Pattaya. Tee lived in Chiang Mai. Being handsome, fit and hung like a donkey, he was getting all the sex he could handle, as the girls were throwing themselves at him. But he was stuck in a horrible job in which he cut timber in the forest and carted it to the factory. It was hard work for little money. Tee had a friend called Man, who in turn, knew a Chiang Mai guy who worked at Happy Boys. He contacted Man and suggested he come and work in the bar. Apparently, there was big money to be made. So Man and Tee decided to give it a go. Although Tee knew it was a gay bar, he didn't really understand what that actually meant. He was shocked when he saw the little skirt he had to wear, especially as it barely covered his cock and his butt was on full display. Being 100% straight, the last thing he wanted to do was show his butt. He managed to survive the first night but didn't like customers playing with his cock and he nearly lost it when one customer parted his butt cheeks to look at his butt hole. He decided he wanted out. But Man reminded him of how much money he had made in just one night - a sum he could never earn chopping down trees in the searing heat all day. He decided to stay and the rest is history. I met him after he started working in Eros. I offed Man, who had also switched to Eros, and was planning to off him again the next night. He wasn't particularly good looking, but he was a nice guy and, oh, that cock!! I could hardly get my hand around it. I was sitting in the Queens bar just down the street from Eros when I saw Man approaching. He was with a gorgeous guy - Tee. I went weak at the knees. They then walked into Eros. I quickly finished my drink and rushed to Eros to grab Tee, but he was already sitting with a customer. My heart sank! I spoke to the mama-san, who went and had a quiet word with the customer and asked if he was planning to off Tee. He wasn't! After the customer left I immediately had Tee sit with me. He we so polite and seemed rather shy. I asked if I could lift up his shirt and play with his cock. Without any hesitation and suddenly, no hint of shyness, he lifted his skirt and put my hand on his cock. I absolutely love feeling a big soft cock and large balls! I couldn't get my hand around it all. Imagine my delight as it quickly grew in my hand, What a monster! Hard as a rock! Back in the room he told me about Happy Boys and his he hated the job. Now he was used to it and was up for anything in the bar. Those who remember Eros know that wanking and sucking the guys, often behind a big pillow, was the norm. 'Tam gan', he would say. It's a job. Outside the bar, he was still the quiet, shy guy I first met. But in bed, he was a real tiger! 'Tam gan'! Primeone385, Ruthrieston, PeterRS and 5 others 7 1 Quote

12is12 Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Vinapu, actually I am a diligent (though mostly silent) reader. I even jot down notes for my annual visit, so as not to troll the forums with too many questiins Please enlighten me as to those raunchy venues. I m aware only of the one in sunnee plaza (either winner or nice boys)... Quote

For now raunchiest place seems to be XBoys in Boyztown , at least as far as show is concerned hanan 1 Quote
Marc308 Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I was in Sunee about a week ago and it was a depressing sight, a figment of its once bustling delights. Ditto, by the way, for the legendary Boystown (yes, with an "S") which was also mostly dark, deserted and haunted. Visit these two former erogenous zones only if you are interested in ancient history. iendo, Ruthrieston, hanan and 1 other 2 2 Quote
Travellerdave Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Happy Boys Yes I seem to remember this boy bar, particularly the mezzanine floor, where you could go to be entertained if the ground floor was not raunchy enough for you. It was in fact a short distance outsides Sunee using what could be regarded as the “back entrance” to the plaza on maybe Soi 18. It looked from the outside more like a shop rather than a Gogo. I don’t think I visited more than a couple of times and I’m sure I never offed from there. I can’t pinpoint when in closed but it probably did so when Sunee had not started it’s decline. Quote

Yes, soi 18 aka Yensabai. Boys in revealing shorts standing on the tables... I have maps from the Nicky's Gay Pattaya website which show it as a gogo bar between 2012 and 2014 (with added massage on the top floor from December 2013) but it had gone by the 2015 edition. floridarob, iendo and vinapu 3 Quote

Franky I do not think the government clampdowns had much effect by 2012/13. They hit hard at the start of the first Thaksin government with his homophobic religious Interior Minister. But that was more than a decade earlier. I think I am right in saying that it was even around the time of the clampdown that Krazy Dragon opened. At first I really liked that bar. It was refreshing to have the boys dance on the high tables with their assets dangling in front. And then a couple or so years later it seemed to have changed - or at least the boys had. I thought they were a rougher and less obliging bunch, even with the tips. The mamasan also seemed not to encourage as much rotation. Too many of the boys just hung around at the back of the bar chatting and smoking (cigarettes, that is!). Tea money may have been an issue with Happy Boys. On my few visits, it never saw more than a handful of customers and the bar area itself was one of the smallest in that area I seem to recall. What made it different, I thought, was that the boys always seemed to have fun and made sure it was fun for the customers. iendo Posted October 6 Posted October 6 But boys and girls, there is hope in the form of VR. ChatGPT: Quote What people currently estimate Here are some representative forecasts and views: Ray Kurzweil predicted VR “will become all but indistinguishable from reality” in about 15 years (from his time of speaking). Reimagining the Future Some futurist/tech commentators see 2040 as a target by which visuals (and overall VR) might become indistinguishable. Futuro Prossimo+2Medium+2 Meta (Facebook) has explicitly stated that their long-term goal is a headset whose visual output is “indistinguishable from reality,” sometimes referring to a “visual Turing test.” Road to VR Some believe that by 2030, VR game worlds could look effectively like physical reality (at least visually) for many users. ericsson.com Others caution that achieving full multi-sensory realism is much harder, and may take many more decades, or require breakthroughs in brain–computer interfaces or neurotechnology. So there is no consensus, but many fall in the range from 2030 to 2040 for a near-realistic experience (especially visually). To go fully indistinguishable for all senses might stretch further. My rough estimate Putting together what’s feasible, what’s being worked on, and how breakthroughs tend to happen (or stall) in practice: For visual and audio realism (i.e. what you see and hear), with perhaps decent haptics, I think a convincingly real VR might be possible by 2035 (± 5 years). For full multi-sensory, fool-your-brain VR (touch, smell, vestibular, proprioception, neural-level interfacing) I think it might take until 2045–2060 (or even later) unless there are unexpected breakthroughs in neuroscience / materials / brain interfaces. So, in 20 to 40 years from now, I’d expect VR to reach a level where many users routinely feel it’s “real enough” for lots of uses. But to have it be truly and indistinguishably real in every way is likely further out. So in 10 years might not be Starship Enterprice holodeck realistic, but in 20 to 30 years that might well be reality. So hang on to those memories, you might need them in the future. Quote

kokopelli3 Posted Monday at 01:12 AM Posted Monday at 01:12 AM Happy Place was indeed a happy place! I would frequent the upper level and enjoy a kissing session with one boy who could not get enough to it. And while we were kissing another lad was on his knees doing me! And always there was some farang who sat there taking it all in and I believe pleasuring himself. Quote
