who are familiar with the nuances and intracacies of where and when one may expect what;

who are well versed about the administrative and logistical aspects - flights, currency, transport, restaurants, hotels, etc;

who patiently share your experience with a never-ending line of inquisitive (sometimes lazy) newbies;
