this is what happens when one is chasing boys instead of attending lectures

I was a good boy then. Mind you my tutor said only 6 lectures a week were essential,  out of 28. Plus Professor Daube on Roman law, as he was very funny! So, of course, we went, and he was!

28 lectures a week? You guys sure studied a lot back then. Did you ever have Treitel for contracts?

Did you know that Michael Furmston died of a heart attack in Kuala Lumpur in 2020? He was teaching at a private university here. He was 87. RIP.

Cheshire, Fifoot and Furmston...hahaha although I preferred Anson's - much easier read!

I knew he had died. I am still, just, in touch with Francis Reynolds,  now 93, still contributing to journals, etc. Reynolds was my tutor, and because of him, I pursued a career in shipping law! He also taught in Singapore,  I had dinner there with him once!

Yes, very dull, travelling all over the world,  multi million dollar international  disputes, $billion  contracts, LNG vessels at $250m each, cruise liners, up to $1billion each, Tankers, Container  vessels, I barely could stay awake it was so dull.

Oh, and super yachts, contracts, up to $450m, and disputes with oligarchs, yawn.

But you stayed in it because the seamen kept you awake and feeling energised!
