Olddaddy Posted Saturday at 05:29 AM Posted Saturday at 05:29 AM Well technically he is running a brothel Having said that , I like the 3rd boy in the picture 👦🕺 Quote

The 3rd one from the left (the sitting one) is actually the post owner (not the bar owner). The 3rd one from the right (the tallest one) is the leader of the dancing team. He is currently the best dancer and also the most popular boy in that bar, raking in tips and boy drinks. He normally doesn't go out with a customer (unless, as boys at the same bar told me, the offered money is around 5000 baht). vinapu 1 Quote

Vessey Posted Saturday at 09:09 AM Posted Saturday at 09:09 AM Surely we should be celebrating 'Truth in Advertising' these days 🤣 The two on the right for me please! 😋 Boys like this are one of the main reasons that I have been taking a room at the Zing for my recent holidays; nice and convenient for short-time visitors ! 😅 Min 1 Quote

Number 1 and number 3 (from the right) are a couple (probably another reason why the No 3 doesn't go with customers that much) if you are into that sort of things Quote

I saw those two struggling in finding customers when they first joined the bar. Nowadays, I seldom saw them sitting alone. They do look much more attractive, oozing confidence and energy when they dance IMHO. The No 1 on the right's English is also good. Can hold a conversation without gg translation. kram987 Posted Saturday at 09:51 AM Posted Saturday at 09:51 AM Could be a typo though a couple days ago i was talking to a coworker who is about to go home to Thailand to visit her family. She said she was looking forward to going to a Brothel for a handsome man. Quote

hank75 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago @BjornAgain must have missed this thread as he posted an update in the Pattaya forum Quote
hank75 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It’s really making me wonder what the original translation of “brothel” was and if the boy is Thai or possibly a different language speaker such as Cambodian Most boys refer to their bars as “raan” ร้าน When I was a newbie I used to chat with a boy each day, until around 8 or 9 pm he would inform me “now go to shop” For a long time I was puzzled. Why did he need to inform me he was going shopping? What shop, this late at night? 7-11? Later on I found out that “raan” literally translates to shop but can be used as a catch-all for a variety of retail outlets, such as pharmacy “shop that sells medicine” grocery store, restaurants. Additionally appending “khaay” (sells) followed by the name of the product defines its identity. Is a brothel then a “shop selling boys”? But Google translate says no, a brothel is ซ่อง “song” Quote
Travelingguy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I think of brothels as self contained with rooms to have sex in. This seems more like a take out establishment Quote
