I, for one, in both bars and massage venues try to steer to clear our of Mamasans, and prefer to deal with boys themselves. Last week I overheard mamasan telling customer that long time tip in that bar is 4000. While later when called boy for a drink, again motioning him myself to come over, quoted just 3000. Sometimes though mamasans can be useful if you need translation but DIY as much as you can. I believe the guy was keen to get an off so he gave you a low quote. The current price is short time 2500 or 3000 and long time 3500 or 4000. Quote

One can get bar of soap at 7/11 for 13 baht but shelf above there are bars of the same weight for 59. No prices for guessing which one gave me once a rash. Toy Boys in Pattaya has even clear price list. Short time 1500, long time 3000. Will their guys go for less ? Some will and some won't. Yesterday I was shown , admittedly attractive , twink in one of bars of Jomtien Complex. Aparently he is selective with whom and when he goes and charges high end Bangkok level prices. Why ? Because he can I guess. bkkmfj2648 and Enchanted_Elixir 2 Quote

I don't speak a lick of Thai, but I do a lot of traveling and Google Translate and I are best friends. I'd love to cut out the middle man. And yes DM = direct message. "Slide into my DMs" is a really common term with kids here in the US. Quote
ggobkk Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I'm returning to Bangkpk next week for two weeks, interupted by three nights in Pattaya. It's been a year since I last enjoyed the heat and evening hour long showers. Sorry to have missed Vonapu on one of his irreguarly scheduled reguar visits. Happy to cross paths with other Forum members. floridarob 1 Quote
