jason1975 Posted yesterday at 07:55 AM Posted yesterday at 07:55 AM Is it noisy since it is beside the road? Quote
ichigo Posted yesterday at 08:39 AM Posted yesterday at 08:39 AM Nice find! Well-located, clean and decent price! vinapu 1 Quote
emiel1981 Posted yesterday at 11:58 AM Posted yesterday at 11:58 AM Judging by the photos on booking platforms, the cheaper rooms have no windows and a shower that makes the entire toilet soaking wet when used. I consider that to be a definite disadvantage. The more expensive rooms look much better (large window, spacious bathroom with a separate shower, and even a bathtub). However, the price of that room is the same as what we find in many hotels in the area. I am curious to hear your findings on whether there is indeed a good reason to book this hotel, besides the fact that it is new and shiny. floridarob 1 Quote

I doubt thay are readers here ( 2 twenty something Indian looking girls ) so you need to ask this question somewhere else. On serious note there are only 2 rooms per floor separated by " staff only" space so there are really no same floor immediate neighbors floridarob 1 Quote
vinapu Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Courtesy of delayed flight I'm stuck at Swampy for last 9 hrs but at least treated with Royal Orchid Lounge Gold so have time to write something. NORN is right on Silom but kind of easy to miss, it's why I attached pictures. 1 shop from Soi 10 that's the soi leading to SILOM Market. Front is just a door leading to nice café inside. You get a key card and it's how you enter when cafe is closed. Yes, there's specified rule about no overnight guests allowed but I decided to test that rule and no, nobody blink an eye or said anything when we both went down to say our goodbyes in the morning. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased for 200, unfortunately no tea or coffee included in that price. Things you my not like is no elevator and no safety deposit box in the room. For those with overnight visitors, add fact that in the morning it's hard to maintain that discretion if that bothers you. Other than that I liked it a lot. Room big and has balcony. Bathroom truly of size with shower fit for 3 and separate bathtub graced with window opening to the room. Well positioned window as one can see bathtub but not a toilet bowl. There's s all refrigerator, kettle, water, tea and coffee provided. Noise situation already discussed above. To summarize, good choice if price is right and your favorite digs are too costly or occupied. Quote

I wish but it was impossible without boarding passes. They are trying to organize us flights with various airlines and to be honest I'm not sure i even fly out today. Flight departed but without those who had onward connections. Lounge is well appointed but AC set to low and I did not come to Thailand to feel I'm in Greenland. Feel sorry for all those rich people forced to endure such conditions whenever they travel and need to wait. Quote
