Any views on  gun-ownership in Thailand? Apparently,  a firearm can be found in as many as twenty percent of homes, some licensed, others not. This is far higher than in any other Asian country. Why?

Also, the government ran a 'welfare program' that let officials buy cheap discounted pistols and flip them to civilians after five years, their borders leak black-market weapons like @Olddaddy at Sansuk sauna 😲

Rural police response times are so horrible that people just buy homemade handguns to protect their own cows....because not everyone has a falang to help the family when something happens to their cow🤷‍♂️

Last time I was in Philippines 3 hours away from Bangkok, I was surprised to see so many security guards with machine guns 🔫🔫🔫

I'm surprised Thailand is far different

Now I'm in the Philippines talking about gun ownership my hotel requires everyone to walk through a body scanner at the entrance ,even the shopping centre 

Ridiculous!!!!! And I shook my head as I was forced to do this 🥴
