Tomorrow starts my month-long visit to SE Asia, a week for each in the following order: bkk, cambodia (SR + PP), Phu Quoc (4 days), Pattaya.

Having researched the threads extensively, I extend my gratitude to the many contributors, to guys who took the trouble to answer my (too many?) questions, and to not a few who PMed me more discrete info. THANK YOU

I'll b glad to meet up with anyone wishing company and / or joint explorations. First drinks on me; feel free to PM me. (-:

I'm in India, heading to Thailand Tuesday.... only a 3 hr flight.

Thai Airways a350, but mileage or revenue business class fares are stupid for a relatively short flight, So I'm going to experiment in a @vinapu seat 64K, 2nd to last row....🤕

Holy cow, floridarob! You're going in cattle class?! 🐂🫢 I hope the Indians on the flight don't start to worship you...Diwali is only a week away.

Om Shanti Om! 🙏🏻

I think he wrote 'FIRST' drinks on me.

Dates/locations: Bkk 2 - 9; SR 9 - 12; PP 12 - 16; Phu Quoc 16 - 20; Pattaya 20 - 29.

"First" drinks, because I got the impression that for some - beer is a hobby second only to sex, and because I hope to meet as many as possible; don't want to go bankrupt.

And then again, "first drinks" can also mean the first 4.....

Floridarob, it would b an honor and a pleasure!

we miss each other..

Pattaya= Nov 3-15
BKK= Nov 1-20

Even you cannot be in two places at the same time @floridarob ... Haha!

if you die from excruciating pain of sitting there let us know. By the way K is window seat , I usually seat in the aisle one unless flight is short and at day time which is likely your case.

Have fun in Thailand (if you survive that ordeal of course)
