I must say that today I am halfway through my Rio trip and all I can really say is WOW. Danilo arrived a couple of hours after my arrival and even though the hotel says I got upgraded it is still small. But I am Really spending little time here in the room. No problem registering Danilo into my room. After my arrival we freshened up, got some lunch, and hit Sauna 117 about 3:30. The first guy I saw standing against the wall was awesome. He was very friendly and I did not need Danilo when he started to deep kiss me. I was very nervous and Danilo told him so. He said relax with a big smile and put his BIG hard cock in my hand. Danilo had already asked me in advance what …

Funny. The writer mentions the handsome staff at one hotel. But not one mention of Lagoa. There are lots of great recommendations howe to spend your non-sauna tourist time in sao paulo. http://travel2.nytimes.com/2006/03/12/travel/12sao.html

After reading your stories and experiences in Rio, I couldn't help myself. I had to book one more excursion before my tourist visa has to be renewed in October. My dates will be the week of Memorial day. I've arranged it so that I spend two Friday and Saturday nights in Sao Paulo (those of you who know Lagoa know that those are the premium nights of the week). Sanwiched between that will be four days in la cidade marvilhosa (including the great mid week free and reduced rate cabine nights).

I had a fabulous time at Carnival. I loved every minute of it. I have some great tidbits to share and some good information on Rio and Sao Paulo. I got back from the Scala Gay event and got a call from a friend that my boyfriend had a motorcycle accident and was in the hospital. I had to make fast arrangements and get back to take care of him. No seats were left on flights out of Rio as Carnival just ended so I had to taxi to Sao Paulo and go on standby. It has been a long 48 hours. I hope to be back to Brazil very soon. However, I have to recoup from the trip I just made and then I will take some time and write down all the details of the trip as well as share so…

    1. Don’t carry you passport with you. Once you get to your hotel, have them make a copy for you and carry that with you. That is sufficient should you need it while you are away from the hotel and if you lost the original, it is a true pain in the ass. 2. Avoid using cash machines outside of banks and malls. I had one bad experience with this last year. Now, I use the ATM in my hotel or exchange my money at the banks or exchange booths. 3. I avoid using my Credit Cards as much as possible other than my hotel or bank or ATM machine. Last year, after a shopping trip to a very upscale mall in Sao Paulo, I got back to the US only to have over 20k charged to my card. …

Restaurants - Most include a service charge to the bill of 10-15%. If this is included, there is no need to leave more. Taxis- It is not necessary to pay any more than the exact value of the fare. Hotel Staff- Bellboy 5-10R, Doorman Valet 5-10R, Housekeeper 5-10R. I find that these people are the most important in the hotel. I also often find that tipping my housekeep daily that I end up with extra flowers, etc. that makes my stay more enjoyable. Sauna Boy - 20 R bare minimum if they are good. Remember that a Big and Tasty meal at McDonald's cost 13R. If a guy is VERY good, tip accordingly. I don't want to be accused again of destroying the Brazilian economy li…

I made it to Rio today with my two sexy Brazilian men. We took a car from Sao Paulo as it was much cheaper than a plane. But, never again will I take a car with 3 people and all the luggage. We got to the hotel, went for a swim and ate lunch. We spent most of the afternoon at the pool and then went to Barra Shopping for them to buy some much needed clothes. We went to Curijina's. Tri was not holding court today. I saw few guys I knew. I did meet one guy that I was very attracted to and had him over for a drink. He had a slim, tight body and was very hot. He was 26 and his english was excellent. I did not want to bring anyone back with me so I told him a time to …

Being a bit of a history buff, I had a great time at Carnival last night and decided to go back this year. But, I really wanted to know about the entire event this year. As I had some time on the plane trip here, I put together an information piece that others may enjoy. I hope this helps some to understand more about Carnival and its history in Brazil and its place in the gay rights movement in Brazil. Oz The Origins of Carnival Carnival has to be the oldest known public festival in the whole world, with some scholars suggesting it emerged as early as 10,000 BC, from the seasonal farming rituals of ancient peoples, annually greeting the return of the Spring Solstic…

LAGOA R. Borges Lagoa, 287 Vila Mariana Lagoa is the King of saunas in Sao Paulo. When you walk in, there are 2 separate ways to enter. To the left is for the boys, they pay less to get in but they do pay. To the right is for the clients. The lockers seem safe to keep you valuables in but I often keep them on me anyway. Past the lockers you pass a TV room with many hot studs sitting wanking off. Past that, there is a hallway that leads to the main dining and sitting area. You can order food and drinks and it is all charged to your locker number. Be careful not to give this out to all the boys or you will find you have treated many to lunch and dinner. In this roo…

After a 9-month absence from Brazil, I finally hit the ground here once again. My adventure started off when I was met by the driver from my hotel. He had a sign with my name on it. He recognized me before I saw him. "I remember you,” he said. "You are man who goes LaGoa everyday." Well, I wasn't sure whether to be impressed with his memory or my reputation as the guy who goes to the same sauna every day. In either case, I told him that I just wanted to sleep tonight. No LaGoa. As Scarlet once said, "Tomorrow is another day." FYI: Firecat: I did have my Spagetti Bolognese. It was fabulous! MarcAnthony: I also ordered in another treat. If he is any good, I w…

I will be in Brazil on my next trip for about 2 months. I have been to Sao Paulo and Rio many times and want to do so again on this trip. However, I would really like to also visit: Fortaleza Curitiba Brasilia Recife Natal Aracaju Florianopolis Porto Alegre I would like to spend 3 or 4 days in each city to get the lay of the land. I would appreciate any suggestions on accommodations, saunas, bars, etc. I have not decided how I will get from one city to the next. In the past I hired a driver to take me back and forth from Rio to Sao Paulo. I prefer travel by car or train. However, I know I will have to fly many places, as the distance may be too great. An…

Normally, I stay at a hotel when I visit Rio. I want to stay a bit longer on the next trip but I can't seem to find a place for rent for a few months. I have posted at GayTravelBrazil and no luck there either. Does anyone know of a good place to find apartments?

Well Eyki the twink wonder has reached celebrity status on all the other boards, so I just wanted to make sure that he is not left out on this board. hehe I probably myself will not make it to Brasil until summer (their winter) so I am anxiously waiting for the most resourceful one of all who will actually come up with a picture of the guy! Until then, I can only hope that he looks something like the bottom boy in this pic taken from a video made in Brasil! lol Of course, I'll settle for someone finding and introducing me to the bottom boi in the pic as well! http://hardcore.gayhost4free.com/gayaction...kin_guys_14.jpg

Brazil is one of my favorite destinations. To start this forum off, I thought I would share a bit of history with you. Oz Brazil - Land Of Mystery Brazil, South America’s largest economy, has a rich history steeped in mystery, dating back more than 8,000 years when the first Native American’s chose to settle on its warm shores. Where exactly these Native American’s came from is a subject of debate by archaeologists. Many feel they were migrant hunters who came into the Americas from Siberia, across the Bering Strait. Others believe they arrived much earlier and argue that archaeological evidence suggests they were genetically distinct from the Asian hunters. Instead,…
