What options of accommodation would be good for a longer stay in BKK area? Let's say for 3 months. Has anyone experience of renting an apartment from locals? Could some hotel/hostel agree on fixed price so that cleaning would be done just weekly or so? Or is there someone nice gay (westerner or local) who would share his apartment? For a pay of course. Thanx for all for replies. Much appreciated. I stayed at Silom Serene which was good but I did not try coming there with a boy. Has somebody tried hotel that is with Babylon sauna? Someone mentioned renting apartment. Is there any safety issue involved? I find hotels more secure. Somebody asked why I did not like Pattaya. Well. It was dirty, overcrowded, noisy... I did not visit hills although, I understood more classy hotels are there. I visit one of the islands about 8 km from Pattaya, that was nice although beach was short and I did not see monkeys nor rainforest as brochure suggested...

Overnighted in Silom Serene and liked it although view to street was not so nice and street was somewhat loud. But earplugs always help. But would prefer rooms with windows to inner yeard. Breakfast was good. And pool nice. They even have a sauna free of charge and nice gym. Only thing that was left unanswered is how they would have reacted to a boy guest... Did not try my luck.

Hello, was a short while ago in Pattaya and Bangkok to see around. Former I found quite awful but latter I think I will return. This time I will use some hotel that is so to say guest friendly. Which one would you recommend in BKK? Does not need to be 'gay' hotel but just one that does not get difficult if I pop with a thaiboy.
