  1. Agreed. Never mind meaningful posts, it takes forever to rack up 200 inane posts!
  2. Of course I've heard of that expression, as I'm sure you've heard of the Thai axiom beauty lies in the eyes of the beholden. Seriously, it's not my opinion necessarily, but idle chatter among my Thai friends is that the fetching policeman's partner is very wealthy. Hot policemen in tight uniforms are highly objectified in Thailand and LCP Thanadech is the ultimate trophy husband. This phenomenon is hardly unique to Thailand and has been happening since time immemorial. Young, beautiful women marry rich, old and sometimes repulsive men all the time. Just look at Melania and Donald. We don't judge but it doesn't mean we can't have an opinion about it when the story is in the public domain, released by the parties themselves. It's not as if these two are running from gay persecution in Iran or something.

So got plenty of Bung for your Baht?
  4. The cop is hot...it's very unusual for a good-looking Thai to partner with someone who's not at least his equal in the looks department...unless there's some other kind of compensation involved. People are obsessed with looks everywhere but here it takes an out-of-worldly dimension. My straight roommate takes at least an hour to dandify himself before going out and spends a fortune on skincare and grooming products. He only dates hot girls younger him with "small and tight pussies" (his words).
  5. I'm sorry but what do you mean by this? "Not taken from the individual"?
  6. Pic please, if it's allowed.
  7. Of course not. He's not anybody's prostitute. I would think exclusivity is not part of his job description unless a special arrangement has been made. He does? I would think that's not very discreet of him. I can understand a whinge or bouquet every now and then but "ALLLLL" about them is not very professional. And I'm surprised anyone would be interested in the "gory details" let alone find it "fun". OK, maybe a story or two of the more outrageous encounters but it would quickly get old for me and I would change the subject. I'm always wary of gossips; if they can say negative things about others to me, there's no telling what they might say about me to others. I would never assume I'm safe from the gossip's dangerous tongue. Just saying...
  8. Ooh nice. Jupiter (I guess that would be the old Jupiter) is one of the few go go bars that I have been to where I thought the guys were really hot. Were they friendly?
  9. I see what you did there, Kellyanne. Not about MFAS or me at all but whatever. Yup, still hurts.
  10. No. You said: So I inferred there must be some kind of sliding scale for different kinds of blowjob although 20-40B seems to be too low for any kind of sexual activity. Or perhaps not. I've heard of "red light" houses or brothels in seedy neighbourhoods where Thai men can have sex for 100-200B a pop. Second, wouldn't the person receiving the bj be the one who pays? Hence my question. Back to your main point: once the boy realised he had been shortchanged, why didn't he and the mamasan immediately confront his customer especially as a447a says incidents of under-tipping are not uncommon for these onsite activities. You'd think they'd have a mechanism in place for dealing with such customers.
  11. I can think of a dozen more interesting places other than Silom to go to on a Saturday night but each to his own. Have fun and I hope there's no "glass check" at the door.
  12. http://sawatdeenetwork.com/v4/showthread.php?18420-Where-is-everyone&p=214994&highlight=get+a+life#post214994 Still hurts I guess.
  13. Is it a sliding scale? As in 40B for poor technique and too much teeth and 500B for an out- of-this-world-blowout experience? What does 350B get you? Hey hang on, this is confusing - it's the blower who pays the blowee?
  14. 15+ minutes? He's not a Cheap Charlie, he's a motor mouth! I hope you got the farang a new set of batteries! And why did the other patrons sit around for 15+ minutes watching that? Were the boy and farang hot?
  15. It's a bit blurry but the one in the bottom-left corner.
  16. Donmueang? Don't know as I've only used it for domestic flights. But it shouldn't matter; they're not going to shoo you away if you got into the wrong lane as an Asean citizen is still a foreigner (I think KLIA does that but it's usually to your advantage). I usually go to the lane with the shortest queue which invariably is the Asean lane at Suwannaphum. I always make sure the immigration officers directing incoming passengers see my bright red passport as I've been pulled out during peak hours and led to a newly-opened queue.
  17. You surprise me. I thought you of all people wouldn't care about these silly little things. It's not as if you were in some uppity Bangkok suburb. You're in Patpong and it doesn't get any lower than that. And the straight couples didn't pay for your holiday and you're unlikely ever to see them again after your stay. Did they pull their child closer to them as they saw you the way rich tai-tais clutch their handbags when they see a black guy?
  18. The meaning of farang is debatable although 'white foreigner' would probably be the most accepted and widely used meaning. The correct term for 'foreigner' is khon dtaang chaat but I've heard farang being used as a convenient and casual shorthand to describe all foreigners.
  19. Or maybe, as Alexx and others have said on another thread, the Thai economy has got better and there's less need for the boys to be subservient in order to earn a buck. Technology, globalisation and successful Asian role models have also made the white man less of a mythical creature deserving of worship. In case you didn't get the memo, the sun has set on the British Empire but enterprising creatures like my stalker who couldn't cut it in London managed to catch its last rays in Hong Kong!
  20. It does? As far as I know, blacks or people of African descent are colloquially referred to as negro or more formally as khon piu dam (literally, a black-skinned person). Referring to a person or a group of people as khon piu dam is usually not disparaging - it all depends on how it is used. Arabs and South Asians are known as khaik - again this is not necessarily a pejorative; it depends on context. But khon khaik is usually reserved for Arabs, Persians and South Asians who have been in Thailand for generations; Indian tourists and the Arabs in Pattaya whom MFAS has a secret fetish for are simply known as khon India or Aarap respectively. Newsreaders, academics, politicians, etc would probably refer to them as khon tawan ook klaang (Middle Easterners).
  21. I agree with you 100%. Even though the real world can be terribly unfair and prejudiced, this forum should be a level playing field for everybody regardless of how young or old you are, how many times you have been to Thailand, how many years you've lived here, how generous or chivalrous you think you are, or how many posts or meaningful contributions you think you've made. Everyone who has an interest in 'gay Thailand' should be able to post here without fear of intimidation.
  22. Be careful what you wish for. Violence can easily get out hand and you might find yourself in the firing range. Best to stay away from such situations and if you care for your friend as much as you say you do, you'd advise him to do the same, especially as you say he is a foreigner and therefore makes an easy scapegoat. "Glassing" someone in the face is not justice; it's spiteful revenge that would only bring harm to everyone concerned. Justice would be for your friend's customer to pay the money he allegedly owed your friend and some extra for the stress and anguish he allegedly made your friend suffer. The customer's punishment would be the blacklisting and ostracisation that you say he is already facing. These are unnecessary fighting words which I will assume you made in a fit of anger and do not mean. Hopefully you will reconsider them after a good night's sleep.
