  1. Take in Lapa on a Friday late eve around 10ish or a little after. Loads of locals in all of the streets; it's virtually a fun fest. Try to go with a local or locals. Take in Santa Teresa; ride that dingy or cable car which was out of commission due to the occurrence of a very tragic accident. ...was down for more than two years. Walk up/down those beautiful, famous titled steps from Lapa to ST or vice versa. Try to have a companion or go during the daytime. If you don't mind paying a mint-- do a helicopter ride over Rio within a short period of time. There are two drawbacks: the cost and the length of time. I did it twice: once with a tour guide of my own choosing who also escorted but preferred the latter to the former. He honored my plans; I enjoyed everywhere we went. Unfortunately, he lost both legs to a horrendous motorcycle accident: a public transit bus ran into him. Miss him.... Go to those fabulous gardens, name escapes me. I went alone and did not like it, for it was great when I went with my traveling partner. If you do the copter ride-- take it from the Botofogo area. There's a nice restaurant that's very near--. My friend and I dined there before hopping into the copter. I took lots of photos from the air. You must do Sugar Loaf; it's quite interesting while going up; it's fantastic once you reach the top. If time allows-- have dinner up there one evening and watch the sun going down. Those are a few things that I can think of which you perhaps would enjoy during your stay there, and they are not that touristy per se.
  2. Check out https://www.tourepublic.com/blog/how-to-travel-to-Cuba as well.
  3. In addition to what you posted (thanks), here are a few articles, etc. that graced my Facebook pages today. Thought I'd add since they, too, are quite pertinent. https://nyti.ms/2XA9PHL (I had three other websites to consult; unfortunately they failed to work; thus I deleted.) Sorry!
  4. I found out that English is NOT widely spoken in Brasil. On my first visit, I did NOT have problems while at three of the saunas but did encounter difficulty outside. But, in spite of the language barrier, the locals were patient with me while I attempted to communicate. Many times I have been mistaken as being a native, and when a local has asked me a question, I've said "no fala Portuguese" with a smile. The cariocas and I have had a light laugh along with smiles and have continued on our merry way.... ...had a gorgeous escort who was introduced to me via his older Italian. He came to my hotel and to my room at the Atlantico and fucked me into oblivion. I gave him a favorable tip and left with him to join his friend at Copacabana Beach in front of the Copacabana Palace Hotel. When we arrived the guy spoke with his amigo; his friend relayed that he did not know why he'd received additional money. I smiled and thought nothing of it. There are escorts who have enticing photos and vids at www.netgay.com.br. and who advertise as speaking Ingles. The major differences between them and the guys at the sauna would be the fee charged. But remember: keep all valuables out of sight and secure. Remember where you've hidden items, too. I write this because I left my good Swiss Army watch in the top portion of the closet at the Atlantico a few years back. Guess someone enjoyed it after finding while replacing blankets, etc. GO ON YOUR TRIP AND MAKE THE BETTER OF IT. Try to alleviate yourself of any preconceived inhibitions, but DO TAKE HEED of all advice you've received. Before my first trip to Brasil and primarily to Rio (for I aborted it after being there for four days)-- I asked lots of questions at the then www.daddysreviews.com. Trilingual, the originator of the Brazilian Sauna Scene, and others answered cordially as well as helpfully. I went and 'd and continue to go for the next ten or more years in a row. Hope to return one of these days since I, thankfully, am still in reasonably good health.
  5. Your question has been addressed in previous threads here. Since this is your first visit and you are not conversant in Espanol or Brasilian Portuguese, it would be fine to invite escorts to your hotel room provided the hotel allows outside guests. You might want to register a room for two; that way it might also be easier. I'll let others chime in here-- those who've visited a lot since 2011. In Rio I stayed in the once hot Atlantico Copacabana during the times that one's having guests was quite simple, for the boys registered prior to their visits; the desk personnel would ring our rooms once the guest/s departed to inquire about our safety. In Sao Paulo I had guests at the non defunct apartment hotel (which was a lovely venue) and only a block or two away from the Avenida Paulista. My guests came and went without having to register; beautiful experiences and fun were immensely enjoyed. ENJOY "Mother Brazil" and "ALL" that she has to offer, and try NOT to become too overwhelmed! I know I am still in and hope to return within a year or so!
  6. I'm sorry, I can't. Usually, the reviews are by name and place. One has to know the name of the escort or the geographical area to access. I've reviewed guys from Brasil and Argentina, but they are not escorting these days.
  7. "DAMN, have you been in Santo Domingo and its environs for almost a month?" If so-- your time really escaped by!" "The old adage "time goes by fast when one is having fun" is apparently in play here." APParently, you enjoyed yourself based on what you shared here!
  8. ...2003 in February Only two or three guys who posted at daddys were part of these adventures. Unfortunately today, some 16 years later, I can't recall their names.
  9. After Carnaval a few years back-- about 20+ male tourists from different parts of the world with the majority being Americanos and an equal number of escorts/garotos, boarded a boat in "The Green Isle," two hours south of Rio and had one hell of a day. Many of the escorts danced and played; a few got buck naked and paraded their charms. A photographer on board took photographs of the guys who had the biggest cocks, and I managed to meet up with one of the biggest, if not the biggest, back in my hotel room prior to my going to a Gay Ball later that evening. ...a time that I shall always remember and would like to repeat!
  10. "But deep down I just want to go to dickney land." I am smiling and thank you for writing. Continue to enjoy yourself in all aspects.
  11. Lucky, I did not get offended by the title, for what followed it fully substantiated. I am not going to debate the merits or demerits of the chosen title by writer, but I do wish that others will not chime in based on what you wrote and that they continue to address the initial thread as the writer intended. Putting myself in the shoes of the writer, I do think that he does not want his thread hi jacked, which I presume that you did not intend to do such. But with others "attacking you," that'll bring it on!
  12. I strongly concur with what you wrote! ...wish the guys here would stick specifically to the topic of each thread and NOT attack what someone else had written. Is this a contest?
  13. My amigo who's in the travel industry in Sao Paulo DOES NOT like this at all, for I presume travel businesses get some funds from non Brasilians via the purchasing of visas. I didn't comment on his posts that were on my Facebook page regarding this matter. ...only wrote that my current visa expires in four or five years. Look like it'll be a part of my passport until it itself expires in 2025--I think!
  14. ...thought I should add my take on the wonderful and exciting report that you shared! Muchas gracias! I thoroughly enjoyed the read and lived the experience slightly vicariously. ...would love to meet your "Big Dicked" play partner and be ravished into oblivion.
  15. Recoleta is central; I've stayed in this barrio on three occasions in apartments which I obtained via a gay apartmental agency whose specific name, unfortunately, escapes me. Santa Fe Av is rather gay in certain blocks. Again, I am unable to share specifics, for memory hinders this. Check out https:// gaycities.com. Also do a google check in terms of gay apartment rentals in Buenos Aires. ...wish I knew the company I used, for they were excellent as well as quite reasonable. gaycities.com/BuenosAires. It should be of help to you as well.
  16. RIO DE janeiro-- thumbs up on both hands!
  17. netgay.com.br for massage studios. I checked out an enticing and very well put together massage web the other evening via that website.
  18. When I read the read the thread-- what you cited, "Most garotos..." immediately came to mind. Obrigado!
  19. ...was at Carnaval in the mid 2000's. ...liked Rio and its surrounding areas afterwards because the prices for lodging, I remember, were drastically decreased. ...weather great as well, but today one can't count on steady weather patterns during these drastic climate changes.
