  1. I have been anti Marriott since 2008 when the Mormon church contributed millions of dollars to the Yes on 8 campaign as well as a general anti gay stance, The Marriott family contribute millions each year to the Mormon church via tithing, Since the Marriotts earn the majority of income via stock ownership in Marriott and it's affiliates (such as Host International) I made the correlation that money spent at Marriott is giving money to a hate group (The Mormon Church)and thus my boycott, Bill Marriott has publicly and loudly stated that his company is a strong supporter of equality for all and points to Marriotts 100% rating from the HRC. Marriott has been in the forefront of pushing for recognition of same-sex marriage in the past few(very few-but it is still there) years and has sponsored many Gay events, However,,,The Marriott Family is HUGE in the LDS church and f they really wanted to push for change it would be easy for them to do so, With that said there have been (baby)steps in the LDS towards inclusion of GLBT members,,,I will not say acceptance but there is movement being made towards acceptance, Therefore I am put in the midst of a quandary! Many friends do business with Marriott and are fine with it-telling me the time for ending the boycott is now, I on the other hand have mostly stayed away for the most part,
  2. Sorry but Chip Tanner Is as straight as the coastline of California! I have chatted him up twice and found him to be less than gracious to Gentlemen looking to help him out as well as a big ol' girl! I have no problem with fem guys(if it is natural)but cannot abide fellas who show obvious disdain for potential clients. BTW=I really love Davey Wavey and am proud of him!
  3. This talented young man is appearing this weekend in Los Angeles. While he IS much too young for me his partner in this Vid is a hottie! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WM1vOTUaQGw
  4. WHY would one waste a second on either of these shows? Well the boat one does have some cute fellas (Dave is a friends BF) It amazes me that these shows let alone all of the Hillbilly/Trailer Trash reality (HAH!)shows get made-but some of them do get folks watching them. America I weep for you.
  5. Lord love her! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV-M-83Yr4k#at=59
  6. I also find some of the posters here to be complete Assholes (strangely two of them are the ones which have caused TomCal to leave this site and LurkerSpeaks to limit his posting) I just put them on ignore and thus I do not have to see their posts/responses. Since the fellas on my ignore list add nothing of value to this site I am pretty sure I will not miss anything important. I do hope others will utilize this wonderful tool! If any of you feel the same way about me please add me to your ignore list-I will not lose any sleep over this!
  7. I have a Samsung Chromebook that I use when traveling. No problem whatsoever accessing my Yahoo email account. Tell her to just google yahoo mail. She must enter her email addie and password on the Yahoo email account. Of course it will be easier(and better) if she signs up for a Gmail account also. The only problem I have with my Chromebook is that Amazon refuses to allow amazon Videos to play via chromebook - silly if you ask me.
  8. A side trip to Prague was in the works for September... Not sure if that will happen now. http://rt.com/news/czech-prague-floods-evacuate-135/
  9. Air Canada is trying (once again) a"new" low cost product called Rouge. Here are some pictures featuring some adorable fellas (I particularly like the tall fella wearing glasses) in the new uniforms. http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-05-30/canadian-airline-introduces-hip-uniforms-for-flight-attendants
  10. It would definitely involve a time machine
  11. They should have made him the manager! This would get me to break my self imposed rule of never spending money at WalMart! http://poststar.com/news/blotter/police-wal-mart-employee-engaged-in-prostitution-in-the-store/article_ba359e2a-ad01-11e2-a799-0019bb2963f4.html
  12. Oh boy do I remember Polk Street! I lived very close to PolkStrausse (in the Tenderloin,,,home of many bars of Ill Repute) between 1982-1989 and staggered home many a morning. I lived right across from a gay bar owned by a drag"queen" named Francine. She was a delicate 6 foot five inch flower who cussed, drank and spit like a sailor, I picked up Rick Donnovan in that bar!
  13. Neat list of San Francisco Gay bars that are no longer there. When I first started "running away"to SF in 1975 most of these were still around. You will notice that there were Gay bars in many areas of the city-you were not restricted to the Castro or SoMa I had a LOT of fun back in the day! Gay life now is a pale shadow of the fun we used to have https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=204308129084127659047.0004ae197e7ef9d21644a&hl=en&ie=UTF8&t=h&ll=37.758844,-122.42642&spn=0.094288,0.052295&source=embed
  14. TV series on Canadian (?) cable about some of these retirees and the fun they can have. http://www.channelcanada.com/canadian-channels/specialty-channels/slice/brand-new-canadian-series-golden-gays-explores-the-other-side-of-palm-springs BTW Palm Springs bores me to tears.
  15. I am sure there are a few of us that would LOVE to be young again, Even with all of the screw-ups/wrong turns of my first 27 years I still cherish the memories. .As I head into the end of my second 27 years it all seems to be a different life led by someone else. I tell young people to enjoy their youth as it is the one thing you will never have again, Everything else can be gained/regained except for youth.
  16. Either one of those boys would do quite nicely thank you! Do you need directions to an ATM machine this morning?!?
  17. We had a great fun dinner!Over three hours at table all of us drooling over the impossibly cute waiters at a local BBQ restaurant. A very convivial group.
  18. Oh- word of caution SUNSCREEN is absolutely a requirement. Even if it is a little cloudy you would be amazed how quickly you will get burned if unprotected.
  19. Looking forward to this weekend! I plan on attending the parade on Saturday and then the festival. We have a VERY fun place picked for dinner Saturday night!
  20. Fortunately for PlaneTime Sauna Thermos is best between 5-8 p.m.! IMO it is a "don't miss" when visiting Barcelona! http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1845-barcelona/
  21. Thank you for the Trip reports Totally Oz ! I am glad that you are feeling better.
  22. Thank you TomCal for your wonderful trip/boy reports!
  23. I always try to find a Hop On/Hop Off bus tour in cities I have not been to. This proved to be a very wise move in Barcelona. We bought a two day ticket and we were able to see much more of the city than we would have(And I STRONGLY disagree with BBB's comment "Take a cab to the ramblas. Walk down it until you get to the port. Between the port and the ramblas, you've seen 80 percent of the good tourist stuff in the city" but I loved the eye candy on Las Ramblas-just watch your belongings) than we would have on our own in a cab. I also have witnessed both British and German tourists behaving badly/rudely . In fact I have witnessed poor behavior by many different folks of different nationalities. It is NOT an exclusively American trait.
