  1. From my friend John at LoyaltyLobby, com http://loyaltylobby.com/2013/03/25/last-call-for-hilton-awards-at-old-rates-use-them-now-or-regret-rest-of-your-life/
  2. I looked at some of these larger screen phones yesterday at a Verizon store and was amazed at how much lighter and larger they are than my current phone, But-is that a good thing? My current phone ( an HTC G2) is of a perfect size for my shirt pocket and I am thinking most guys carry their phones in a shirt pocket. These larger phones would be very snug in this pocket if they would fit at all. And these new phones are so very thin that I would be nervous carrying in my pants pocket. Also they are so light that you would not feel their presence. But with that said I will be looking at a new (Android)phone in the very near future.
  3. If the estimate holds true I will be thrilled! I cannot afford personal health insurance now($700 a month premium) but I will be happy to pay $210 a month.
  4. I bought my Airline tix today! UA had a bit of a sale, $138 a.i.
  5. This might be a better link? http://loyaltylobby.com/2013/02/23/hilton-hhonors-award-availability-until-2015-beat-the-devaluation/
  6. This is shocking! And it is causing a huge uproar in circles where folks care about such things. Hilton Honor's has announces a MASSIVE devaluation of its point system. If you are invested in this program you might do well to red my friend "John's " blog post about trying to rescue some of your Hilton points. http://loyaltylobby.com/2013/02/23/hilton-hhonors-award-availability-until-2015-beat-the-devaluation/ I was never invested with Hilton ( I had some information about them which made them unattractive to me when I was choosing which Hotel Loyalty program I would follow.) so I do not know how this will effect the casual consumer.
  7. Totally Oz you know I love my hotel chains and their loyalty programs! I have abandoned Marriott International altogether. Their program has been decimated by the fella in charge of their loyaylty program ( Ed French )over the past few years. And with the last announcement of the devaluation of Marriott Rewards points http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marriott-rewards-including-ritz-carlton/1437603-2013-marriott-rewards-hotel-category-changes-list.html I see I was right in abandoning them. Add in the Marriott/Mormon connection and I am shocked when I here of gay folks giving business to Marriott. I have never really invested in ICG/Priority Club (and it's Royal Ambassador tier) but my friend "John"-who has top status in at least 5 hotel loyalty programs-is a Royal Ambassador of long standing. Here is his rundown of the program. http://loyaltylobby.com/2012/12/23/pros-cons-of-priority-club-intercontinental-hotels-group/ And Here is his rundown of some of the big hotel loyalty programs with links to discussions of these programs. .http://loyaltylobby.com/2013/01/07/summary-of-pros-and-cons-of-hilton-hyatt-intercontinental-hotels-grouppriority-club-marriott-starwood-preferred-guest/
  8. Thank you to LurkerSpeaks and to all of you! I am in Las Vegas in a three bedroom penthouse suite-enjoying NOT having to work whilst here. I had a lovely B'day dinner and then we moved the party to Share nightclub for some eye candy-more on that later! So good food, good friends and some lovely firm young flesh,,, not a bad way to celebrate the march to the grave!
  9. Just a heads up that The Phoenix Forum will be that same weekend! So there will be a lot of "talent"in town that weekend. Also,,,for those that have websites ( cough TotallyOz cough) this could be a legit write off for you! https://www.thephoenixforum.com/
  10. I am a legitimate reveiwer on many sites such as Tripadvisor. I have had negative reviews pulled for no reason on Tripadvisor. As soon as that happens my trust in the site goes down the terlet and I use the site as a travel/buying tool rather than a trusted review site while taking any reviews on these sites with a big lump of salt. I have friends in marketing who have told me the same thing as BiBottomBoy posted above.... So I tend to trust peer driven sites(even though there are shills in those as well-but they get sniffed out quickly) rather than sites which are strictly about reviews. You should also realize that TripAdvisor is owned by a HUGE travel company.
  11. I enjoy travel and just look at the flights as a means to an end. I drive when I can but the reality of a 6 hour drive versus a one hour flight makes me grateful for choice. And until I can teletubbietransport to Montreal/Berlin/Prague (My foreign ports of call this year)then flying it is since those places have the fellas that I want to play with! Even friends who do travel via train from NYC to Montreal(one of those 5 hours on a train versus 1 hour on a plane)have run into hassles so nothging in this world is guarenteed!
  12. I have miles in all three aliainces(OneWorld/Skyteam/Star)and I keep enough in my accounts for emergencies as well as using them for trips. I have a lot of miles and I have burned through a lot of miles. While they do not earn interest they can be a nice little pillow to have...and also a goal to aim for. That being said the game is becoming a lot more work than it used to be. I hope everybody has looked over at Flyertalk.com for some advice. If that is a little to hard core my friend Brian has a neat site- ThePointsGuy.com he has a LOT of advice on milage earning credit cards etc.
  13. YAY! Such a fun weekend! Thanks Oliver!
  14. Maybe we can find some generous MERmen to buy a train ticket to Palm Springs for a fat blowhard that like to wear filthy skirts(and no--not refering to myself here for a change),,,I have seen such things happen! And of course I am kidding,,,,just kidding,,,,
  15. I am happy these shows are on Sunday nights...I can watch Downton Abbey instead!
  16. Thank you Jaizan for posting your real life experiences-that is what is great about this site.
  17. It kicks off in WeHo this year at Stripper Circus on February 6. I will try to make it but(yet once again)it is a late night event on a school night.I will probably have dinner with a few of the fellas before the show and then stick around for a bit. San Francisco is on a Saturday night (2/9) so I might go to that also. http://www.thehookies.com/index.html
  18. Yes he was pretty darn adorable. LOTS of cuties at the party And Jackie beat did a wonderful job as MC. It could have started a little earlier IMO but that is because I am old and pay dearly when I sty up past ten on school nights.
  19. Best of luck. The AVA show has little gay stuff any more. You should have detoured to WeHo for the Cybersocket / XBiz awards. But while you are there Check Share and the Blue Moon Party.
  20. Well that was fun. I wish I was better at putting names to faces so I could tell y'all who was in the audience but let's just say there was a lot of hot porn fellas all in one room.
  21. Male Escort Review (Now Boytoy.com) was nominated for one of the awards last night at the CyberSocket awrds show! It lost out to Rentboy.Com but it was still nice to see it on the list of nominees. BTW, "The Other Site" was not nominated
  22. There are three hustler bars in Berlin listed in the most current guides.Tabasco, Blue Boy and Pinnochio. .... and just like in Prague there is foot traffic on the street between the three. I was hoping for some account of personal experiences. http://www.patroc.com/berlin/bars.html
  23. If I was being hired to have sex with a fella who looked like me I would want to be high also! I have been at this game(hiring trade off the street) for a lonnnnng time. I fully expect that the fellas I hire will use at least part of the funds I provide to buy some substance which will blot the memory of what they have just endured from their memory. I do try and assure that the fella I am hiring in this situation will be capable of performing the act I am paying him for before a deal is struck. In other words- Saints need not apply and Sinners are always appriciated. Of course I do make exceptions to the above rules and hire more mainstream fellas on rare occasions. I do appriciate your contributions to these forums Mvan1 = Thank you. Are there any cruising grounds in Berlin where a lonely fella might find some trade for hire?
  24. Congrat's to my friend LurkerSpeaks!. When those boys above hit puberty I might be interested
