I like to walk. I like to go look at some art or some nature or gaze at some lovely fellas. The last bit is one of the reasons i like to hang out at a coffee shop on SMB which has outdoor seating, Some lovely scenery.

This is NOT specific to airports in Latin America! It is not even specific to Airports.
A friend and I had a hell of a time meeting our Uber at the Prague train station. The pickup instructions on the Uber site were as clear as mud and the signage at the station took us to a spot directly across a busy highway from the actual pick up spot.It took three calls, one driver cancelling on us, and a lot of patience on the part of another UBER driver to finally get together. About halfway through this ordeal I said "fuck-it! Let"s just get a cab" But my dear travel companion was very stubborn about it.
LAX is notorious for poor cell service. I often cannot get any signal on the arrivals level. So trying to make contact with a shuttle/uber driver/friend can be nerve wracking after a long flight. One more reason I despise LAX.

So an Argentinian mother of three boarded a plane (late-she did not preboard as she should have) with a stroller that should have been gate checked but was not.She places the stroller in the overhead bin( taking up a lot of room from other passengers permitted carry on bags) and when confronted by a pissy FA gets dramatic and rises up in her seat-just in time to get hit in the head by the stroller the FA is removing from the overhead bin. The woman then goes all Diva dramatic (as only a South American woman can) with the crying and the "I don't speak English-I am from another country" bullshit And she leaves the plane with her children in tow.two todlers in her arms and with a backpak that is hitting every aisle seat passenger in the head.
Some jackass from Texas decides to be a "Big Man" (aka Jackass) and confronts the pissy FA FA gets even more puffed up and pissy and has to be "restrained" by the pilot (who is looking like he wished he had called in sick that day) and the other FA's. but Mr. Butthole returns to his seat (he should have been taken off the plane) and the video ends.
Woman gets, a refund, comped First class tickets to Argentina for herself and her kids, and $1000. So her bullshit Diva actions are rewarded.

The scene in Buenos Aires is great- IF you speak Spanish! The fellas on Soy Tu Yo have limited English at best. If you are not looking for paid companionship (why are you here if you aren't?) than I have been told that the regular hook-up sites are very active.
BA is a gorgeous city with a lot to do and lot of good food/drink at very affordable prices.
I think my next trip down south will be to Cartegena As it looks to be working very hard to attract tourists from the U.S.

Just heard from a friend that you can no longer purchase a disposable douche/ enema in London! I wonder why this is?
He bought a travel douche setup-not as convenient nor hygienic as the disposable products (although better for the environment I guess) but tossed it after the second attempt at using it failed.

I had some trepidation in going to my first sauna visit in Rio. I did hire a young man as guide to the scene (he was a friend of a friend) However after he showed me around a bit and told me how to go about things I felt pretty comfortable. He also took me to Corajinna's (RIP) and gave me the low down on the (then thriving-now gone) street scene.
And then I got sick as a dog for the rest of my visit!
However- I think you will find a lot more info on this board than what was available back then.
Unfortunately Rio has a dearth of US chain hotels- at last in areas convenient to activities that would be of interest to this crowd. There is a JW Marriott on Copacabana, a Sheraton not too far out, and a very nice Sofitel . Many nice independent properties ( I enjoyed my stay at the Royal Rio https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g303506-d535722-Reviews-Royal_Rio_Palace_Hotel-Rio_de_Janeiro_State_of_Rio_de_Janeiro.html and also many of the chains have locations a lot further out in Barra da Tijuca . As mentioned in another thread hotels are a bit of a bargain now.
I, and I think most of the posters here, STRONGLY advise against bringing fellas back to your hotel-especially if this is your first visit. Play at the Saunas, sleep in your hotel.

How soon they forget! I am sure I am not the only one here who remembers going to an adult "booth" store to watch gay porn. sure the big cities had some real movie houses that had gay porn on a big screen but for most of us it was a selection of flicks on very primitive, very small screens.
And the came VHS! a bit better picture and sound followed by DVDs which was a huge improvement.
Now it seems everything is digital. And the selection is mind numbing.
I am fine with the regular selections on pornhub. I reallllllly don't need an microscopically clear picture of most body parts. But I am easy to please

Unfortunately the economy is still in decline. I find it strange how quickly it has tumbled but I do not think it was unexpected.
The new hotels that were built during the boom are also struggling to survive now. The new Hyatt is asking around $100 usd a.i. on some nights- they cannot survive with those rates.
