  1. I still even with guys I have known for over a year and have come to my apartment several times a month. I still have them leave their ID with the doorman. Also, I do not know if it helps. I learned that if you see guys outside the sauna do not give them the exact date you are departing. I always tell the guys my departure date is a few days past when I have already left. For me, it seems that they are much more likely to take something when they know you are leaving and may not see them again. Plus when the guys know the day I am leaving that is the day that everyone's grandma gets sick or mom fell on the train on the way home from work. Over 6 million people live in Rio and two guys the same day mothers' fell on the train and are in the hospital within two hours of the other. What a coincidence! We have all been there. My first trip to Rio 10years ago the other site set me up with a guide who stole R$700 and then he complained I did not pay his full day guide fee to the administrator of the site.
  2. Has anyone used this site olimposbr.com? I don't mind paying for the info but just wonder how accurate it is. Many of the guys are on other sites. Some intriguing options for this evening and beyond. I have hired from all the other sites but Olimpos site disappeared for several months.
  3. I start my roundtrip run at Av. Visconde de Albuquerque and run past the Hotel Fasano almost every day. As I run you can almost pick out which people will be targeted victims and which are potential perpetrators. As so many have said never take a backpack to the beach, never. Don't take anything!
  4. Thank you for your reports. I may just return to the sauna to start a new WhatsApp group of GPs. Have had the same GPs for the last 3 years. Haven't had to find new guys for some time. Never thought fixing a GP sloppy joe's and apple crisp for dinner could keep them coming back and staying way longer than paid that night. But it works!
  5. Have not met a businesswoman or businessman in Brazil that says they are not voting for the Tropical Trump. I voted for Trump and am a Republican. The US economy has been very good to me since his election. So good now looking for a new apartment in Rio. Hoping that Bolsonaro can improve the Brazilian economy just 2-3 percent per capita GDP. I will be working for his second term election just as I am Trump.
  6. So many years in Brazil and these wolves have always eluded me. Any suggestions on to where to find and attract one?
  7. Dominicans speak Spanish. Dominicans do require a visa for Spain and the acceptance rate is not close to 75% for a Spain.
  8. Your statement could not be more wrong. I travel to Salvador 3 times a year. As Anthony Bourdain said, "if Rio is the heart of Brazil than Salvador is its soul". It has in the last year become less safe to go out at night and travel by yourself. I have been living in Brazil for a few weeks a month for 8 years. I am as Eastern European as you can be but my preference has always been black men. It is much easier to meet a black hunk top man in Rio than in Salvador. My suggestion is to go to Rio if you like black men and travel to Salvador for the food.
  9. I would be glad to share some of my experiences with using websites in Brazil and will write a post soon. I am not new to Brazil. I have been living and working for several months a year in Brazil for the past 10 years. That includes traveling the country. I do go to the saunas just in Rio and Sao Paulo and I am a terrible member of this site since I rarely post, ask for a lot of advice and in all that time I have only met one other poster for brunch one Sunday a few years back. I am under no delusion that these guys are only with me for the money and that is fine with me. But these two guys are fun to spend time with even if you are paying for their time. I have always believed that no matter how rich or poor you are that you are born with class and that class is not something you can learn. These are two classy guys. That is one thing I have found with many of the websites guys they are more refined. Working to have these two guys in bed at the same time. That's the goal!
  10. Have known both for a year and both have been a perfect gentleman. Just did not want to insult them with what I was going to pay.
  11. I met a guy in Brasilia and want to bring him to Rio for 5 to 7 days what would I pay him for his time? Also, met a guy in Bella Horizonte and want to bring him to Rio for a similar amount of time would he be paid the same amount? Never have done this before. They both charged R200 for their time to come to my hotel. Never ask what they want to get paid to come to Rio. Would just make the offer.
  12. I don't get into Sao Paulo until late on Sunday night and the better days at Lagoa are Friday and Saturday. I don't want to wait that long to have some fun. I want a guy or two Monday night. I am into muscle tops. Prices for these guys? http://garotos.com.br/saopaulo http://www.loverboys.com.br http://www.garotolandia.com.br/saopaulo.html I always go to Lagoa and have never hired a guy outside of the saunas in Sao Paulo or Rio. What are the other good days for Lagoa during the week this time of year?
  13. I never post a photo unless I have the permission of the person in the photo and they know where I am posting. So with that said. I have been to the DR three times in the 5 months. I have been writing on this blog comparing my type of guy in Havana v. Santo Domingo. Which for me and my type of guy there are many more in the DR than in Cuba. I have been able to assemble a stable of 9 guys so far all of which are just as incredible as the ice sculpted guy in the photo. The pingas and faces match the bodies. It is much harder to meet guys in the DR especially these type of guys. In Havana you can go Las Vegas or the malecon. In Brazil, you have the saunas but in the DR you have to use connections. I would recommend to stay in an apartment and not a hotel. This photo was taken in an apartment I rented this last trip. You do not run into any of the same problems as a hotel and it is more discrete for the guys since they do not have turn over their ID to the front desk and you do not have to pay extra room charges. An example of a cost for a guy like this would be 5,000 to 6,000 DOP for the night. The guy in the photo also drives for me so with airport pick-up and return 5 full days and nights and excusing himself for a few hours when I had another guest the cost was $600.
  14. I will take your advice on my return to Havana in January and make a pilgrimage to Bim Bom. It wasn't the boys telling me my type was not at Bim Bom it was a very respected tour guide. As to your question as to what I pay in Brazil it is BRL80 at the saunas in Rio and Sao Paulo with gozar and BRL150 for an overnight at my apartment in Rio. But remember this is for the muscular model types in any flavor. We will have to agree to disagree on the size factor. It is not the same as Brazil or the DR and I am only speaking of guys of Afro-Caribbean or Afro-Brazilian and Mulatto decent. It still shocks that it is not the same.
  15. I just back from a 4 day trip to Havana. This is the second trip in 5 months. The first trip I rated 3 stars but have increased the rating to 4 stars after this trip since I think I have broken the code to find the guys that are descended from the William Levy gene pool. I did not have that luck on the first visit. I stayed in an apartment in Vedado. A one bedroom that had been completely renovated and cost $50 per night. The neighborhood is grand and must have been spectacular in the 30’s, when most of the Neoclassic mansions were built, up until the revolution. I ate breakfast each day at a cafe on the veranda of one of those mansion’s. The restaurant is called Topoly and is an Iranian restaurant, that played country music and was close to Martin Luther King Park. American breakfast was CUC4.95 and very good. Normally I do not eat a restaurants with pictures of their food in the menu. I contacted the guide Luis again who has been discussed on this site and he is a definite hire for a first time visitor or in my case a second time visitor. There was a small hotel a few blocks from the apartment that was a wifi hotspot. I had to pay 3CUC for a hour on the Internet card. But the person selling them was not there everyday so I bought several for this visit and future ones. I only went to one club Las Vegas since Humbolt is still closed. Another club was mentioned by Luis but he did not seem really excited about it so do not remember the name. I have never been to Bim Bom because Luis said my type of guy rarely goes there. So I do not know about the CUC20 payment for a guy because I have always paid CUC40 or CUC50. How I broke the Willam Levy code was by calling the only really hot guy I had sex with on my first trip and told him what I wanted. I told him that he could, if he wished, be part of the sex with the with the guys he introduced me to on this trip. So my escort cost was CUC100 per session because I had two guys. A note I have had threesomes in Brazil with two macho activo guys but never had them interact with each other as the threesomes in Havana. There was a lot of kissing between all three of us. I was the only one fucked but it was really hot to see the interaction between the other two guys. I had four threesomes and two one on ones. Sorry I don’t take pictures but here is a brief description. My locator is 6 foot, 180 pounds with a good 8 inches, European decent and very short dark brown hair. My additional partners. One was 6’2” malato and 190 pounds of muscle with 9 inches an absolutely stunning guy. Who spoke English with no accent, had a beautiful smile and really sexy deep voice. I had sex with him twice in one day. It was quite a threesome he really new how to fuck and I was blowing the other guy and they both came at the same time. He has already emailed me and I will stay in touch with him. He is male runway model material. Another guy was 6 foot, 185 pounds, 6 inches (I am still not convinced that the average size in Cuba comes anywhere close to Brazil or the DR), European decent and really handsome. A guy you would see in Miami or LA. Closely cut chest hair and that thick wavy dark brown hair. He is a great kisser and really pays attention to you. He did not fuck me, it was a mutual hand jobs between the 3 of us. The other guy was very attractive but not memorable because he had no dick. The last guy was just as stunning as the malato guy. He has the same build, dick was the same size and a nice low cut beard and of European decent with blondish/brown hair. He was great in bed and he was alone with me. My taste is activo guys who are built, hung and macho. I enjoyed going to dinner with 3 of the guys. Had dinner at 2 restaurants one was great and the other which was rated number one on Trip Advisor was over priced and very disappointing. So I will increase my ranking to 4 stars from 3 stars after my second visit. It is still not Brazil or the DR in my opinion when it comes to the type of guys I like. But I do believe I have broken the William Levy code. I saw the pictures in the other Havana post and those just are not my type of guys and I think it is why I was not happy the first trip. But if you like that type of guy they are widely available and probably you can get away with CUC20. I would like to know from that poster the average size he found on those guys just to help in my conclusion that the Cuban Pinga we all have dreamed of really is not a myth and more common. Further to my advice in the first post. If you can travel without checking a bag that would be smart, since it can take over an hour for your bag to show up. Plus the USA charters will change you $20.00 for a checked bag. I will be back in Havana in a few months.
  16. First I need to apologize for my delay in posting from my trip to Havana which was the end of July changed from May. I did hire Luis as a guide for most of the week. In fact I emailed him yesterday because I thought I would be going back to Havana in early December however that has changed to Mexico City. I stayed in a private apartment in Centro Havana. A one bedroom with a nice living room and balcony two blocks from the Malecon. It had a nice kitchen which was useless because there was very little food available in the supermarkets. Even in the agros selection was limited to a few fruits and vegetables. Went to Humbolt 3 nights and did go home with someone each night but the guys though very attractive were not as muscular as I like. Also having had sex with 5 different guys only one was over 7 inches. Luis told me yesterday that Humbolt is closed for a law violation. So the only hustler bar open is Las Vegas. But at Las Vegas the selection seemed limited .Though I did go home with a very attractive guy who came back for dinner the next night with my attempt to cook with ingredients form the market. It is the first time I had to buy onion powder form a case under look and key. The restaurants were good and there are so many opening I would check with Trip Advisor before I go to Havana, However, none of the Cuban favorites we have in Miami were available in Havana there was no Cuban bread, guava pastries or Cuban sandwiches. The 2 times I had black beans and rice it was watery. The rum is great and probably the best I have had in the Caribbean the honey is also amazing. You should bring some home. It is sold in the departure area of the airport. So as you can see I am not talking much about the sex. It was OK and prices were $30 to $50 per session. This was the cost for the cream of the crop for my taste which in Brazil is the model type. Remember however, you will take a 13% hit on your US Dollar currency conversion. I was lucky because the owners of the apartment gave me a 96% exchange rate. I would go back on business but would spend my money to go to Brazil. A charter flight is going to cost you $500 from Florida. The apartment rental was $35 per night and breakfast at a cafe will cost $5. In my opinion the selection of guys is not there plus the over an hour wait for your luggage at the airport. All of the people are very nice. There was never a feeling of being unsafe at anytime of day or night. One piece of advice if you do take a guy back to your apartment let him walk a few feet in front of you. If the police see him walking next to you he is going to be hassled. This was even true for Luis. On Luis and his tour service he is great, always on time but he does not get guys for you. He will help with the translation if there is someone you want to speak with. It is worth spending the money for a guide. I would rate the trip 3 stars out of 5 and that is because of the food more than the sex.
  17. I am renting an apartment for 4 nights near the Four Seasons. What are the prices for the guys on the website www.siempretuyo.com?
  18. This article is no surprise to anyone who lives or works in Brazil. One of the things in reading this forum which I find so interesting is how people think Brazil is not racist. Brazil is extremely racist as is all of Latin America that I have ever been or worked. You will never see a poor kid from a favela make it big in a traditional way. The spoils of society are reserved for white Europeans (of which I am one) in Latin America it always has and will not change in our lifetimes. One very small example. My driver in Rio when I first met him spoke a little english. He wanted to go to english school so I asked at a party with all White European Brazilians, in a beautiful house in Joa looking up at the Christmas tree which is Rocinha at night, what is the best english school in Rio, they gave me a name and I said I am going to send Thiago there. Your driver Thiago! They all said you can’t send him there and I said why not. Well you all know why not. Well I sent him there anyway. Took him down there and enrolled him in full-time classes and he attended for 3 years and was the most popular guy at the school everyone loved him. A brief second example when I was on another project in Latin America I had a driver who was black. My family came to visit, we stopped at Hagen Daz. Pulled into the parking lot and there were seven or eight SUV with drivers sitting in them. We got out of the SUV and my family (they were visiting) said “Robert isn’t coming”. I said sure Robert can come. Every eye in the parking lot and in the store was on us. I could give 500 examples, daily examples of subtle and overt racism in these countries. At times it works the other way. One day I was walking down the street from my house in the Zona Colonial of a Latin American city and a new restaurant opened and the man outside started yelling at me “no Gringos allowed” and he did this every time I would walk by until he went out of business a few months latter. Rio has one great equalizer the beach. That is the only time everyone is equal. I would love to know how many Brazilians of Non-European decent read the Rio Times. I could make a guess.
  19. I have had the same driver in Rio for 4 years. So when I arrived on Sunday he was waiting for me outside the arrival terminal at GIG as usual. I am a big "pump up music" person at the gym, while running, before meetings. So for the past 4 years I just can't help myself when I am coming back to Rio singing "Happy Days are Here Again" all the way home to Ipanema. Well as I was walking out I heard really loud loud music and the voices of Judy and Barbra singing "Happy Days/ Get Happy" and low and behold there is my car with all the windows down and the song just blasting. Of course this is the same guy, my driver, who listens to my oldies and loves the song "Me and Mrs. Jones" and decided to sing it loudly at Shop Leblon one day, except in his attempt he was singing "Me and Mr. Jones". So please feel free to us my "pump up song" any time you like. It does not get better than this. If any one else has a song let us know what it is or the first thing they do when they arrive in Brazil.
  20. I also found his website and am using Luis on my upcoming trip to Havana May 30th. I looked at "airbnb" for a private apartment and found that the prices for most of the casa particulars on their site were $5 to $20 per night higher then the other rental sites and that was not including the fees charged by airbnb.
  21. I am a regular to Brazil but recently over the last several months had to complete a project in Italy. I contacted and was with three guys on Planet Romeo who are from Brazil. In turn these guys introduced me to so many other Brazilian guys hustling in Europe. They seem to rotate locations, like there is a circuit. Many of the guys are the type you would see at Lagoa. They were a great time, spoke English (some better then others), spent a few hours, had dinner at the apartment and between 100 and 150 Euro. I was afraid to ask to many questions (might not like what I would have heard) and did not disclose that I am in Rio and Sao Paulo all of the time. These guys are not there studying Renaissance Art. Can someone explain.
