  1. There are many Colombians in his latest videos. You can tell by how they say ‘que chimba’ in ecstasy during sex, which is so typical for horny Medellín boys
  2. @BlkSupermanmy hero!!!! can't wait to get back to Santo Domingo to get some of those brutal dick downs. ufffff
  3. Cine Lido is a bit seedy at night, but I ordered an Uber and waited inside. Felt perfectly safe. get that local Claro SIM card....!!
  4. Instagram might become the new Grindr. And I agree with @Kevie770 that Grindr shows quite some fake photo's. That is another reason I meet up in public first; I'm in holiday mode anyway...got time. And I think Instagram is a slightly 'safer' recourse than Grindr. It is not so anonymous which results in safer dates. Let's face it: our 'hobby' obviously has a high AYOR level right?
  5. First: always listen to that little voice of reason. If you think a guy is a bit off, don’t proceed. Second: I always meet a Grindr date in public first. Access the situation. Third: I always make a foto of the ID and mail it to myself. This way I can get the ID-foto from my online Gmail account, even when my phone is stolen. With all my (Grindr)adventures I only had one bad experience. In Cartagena, Colombia. And I blame myself because I let down my guard a bit. So calm down, don’t get to excited, think rationally, take logical safety precautions and hide your valuables. Just don’t be naive and you’ll be fine.
  6. Wow, your Singaporean date must be golden! Maybe you only had eyes for him. Because I remember 'cruising galore' around the Toke-Malecon area as well as the central square in the old centre. Boys everywhere. You're sure your gaydar was switched into the Spanish settings ;-).
  7. @curiousnature12 I have stayed in an Airbnb in a apartment building next to the Cali Marriott you mention! I had an apartment with an amazing city view on the 13th floor for 35USD/night. Why would you stay in an overpriced hotel where it is more of a hassle to bring a steady flow of boys if you van have your own private place for a quarter of the hotel rate? What do I do during the day when NOT meeting boys.....huh? Meeting boys of course! Boys are ready whenever you want it! Besides that: visit the old church hill, the promenade, the parque or Chipe Chape shopping mall. Cruising the promenade bring back great memories... In my opinon: 5 days Bogota CAN be sufficient. Big city sure, but only 10% is worth it / safe. And you will more than just architecture in Cartagena...trust me . Very very humid though...that is true.
  8. @curiousnature12 Cartagena is great. Hot? Yes, but I can easily spend a week here. There is a lot of action; the commercial scene is large. So many pay boys available at the tip of your finger (Grindr). Barranquilla: boring AF. Went there because I visit Colombia several times and I wanted to see another place for change. Most boring city so far. Cali: absolutely love it! I always spend at least 1 or 2 weeks here. Barrio Granada. Safe. Central. Not as busy as Medellin, but the guys are more down to earth and less complicated than the Paisa boys of Medellin. Quite a lot of Afro Colombian here too.
  9. @Latbear4blk hahaha, probably true!! Just peeking aside at the urinals will do the trick! @redxs If you use Grindr, you don't need to go to a shoppingmall I guess... In general: Google Translate is your friend. Get yourself a local SIM card (try the provider Claro) so you have internet acces everywhere. Having that said: real time cruising, winking to a guy, a smile, the whole experience...it can be soooo much fun!!! So many horny, testosterone filled and open minded guys around, enjoy it! Then...as a general remark...please don't take it the wrong way......to our English speaking forum members...or those with that jolly accent which is called 'American English' ;-) : Learn. A. Bit. Of. Local. Lingo! (eg Spanish...) Wake-up call: the majority of people on this planet DO NOT speak English as their first language. Take in consideration that Spanish is more widely spoken then English. Get out of your 'language bubble' and learn the basics. You will be surprised how easy and how REWARDING it is! TopTip app: duolingo. It helps you to pick up the basics with half an hour practice a day. Finally, to motivate you: I attached a photo of some fine, prime meat from Narcisso's house ;-), Yummeeeee!
  10. As others mentioned, Santo Domingo is not upscale. It is rough on the edges to say the least. But availability is high, so their must be tons of boys of your liking! Street trade is everywhere, but even if that is not your thing (as you said) there can be a very cruisy atmosphere in other parts of town too. Try Plaza cc Central and cc Acropolis shopping centres: quite high end with same kind of visitors. And shopping centres like this are gay heaven when it comes to cruising. Grindr is a good option too. You can always meet up for a drinks first right. And then there is Instagram. Some call it the next grindr. Great to get in touch with 'normal' and curious guys. Just take your time talking to a guy and start well before your travel dates. I woud argue that Narcisso's house is also a bit to extreme for you. Without being judgmental, I just think you will find that experience a bit overwhelming. To pick a guy from this heavenly meat market (emphasize 'meat') is fantastic to satisfy your inner slut, but then again: hardly upscale. NOTE: I'll be in Santo Domingo march 19-30. Anyone there happy to go for a beer and swap stories? Drop me a DM!
  11. Very useful info, thanks a million! I'll mark mentioned hotels on my Google map (the whole of my slut-tour is already pinned with POI's). Woooooo, I am so exited to go! Whahaha.
  12. @SolaceSoul so the terrible stories on muggings, robberies, violent attacks are more aimed ad walking the streets (at night, alone, bad areas.......like stupid people would do)? Not as much as during play in your apartment with a -as good as it gets- vetted guy?
  13. @paborn Apologize? For what!? Speak freely, I love it! Contrary main-stream-politicly-correct-victim-thinking: I don't give a shit; no apology needed buddy. Speak freely! Speak your mind! It provides with a lot of new insights. Love, Snwbrdr015
  14. Holy shit guys, quite an interesting discussion developed from the initial question: 'Any tips on Santo Domingo?'. And I mean this in a good way! It is helpful to get insights from different angles. One thing I understand from all of you: boys galore in Santo Domingoooooo! Shouldn't be hard to pick up guys; either working guys or 'normal' guys. Some insight: I am white, 41yo and European (Netherlands). I've travelled over 35 countries, and speak basic Spanish too, so I would think I am sort of street wise without being arrogant (I am here to learn too right!?). Now, not to insult the American forum members, but you guys can be quite loud compared to European standards hahaha. Yes I know, we dutchies are quite direct, some consider us rude.....we however, call it honesty! But the Americans I come across abroad are without exception the most open en positive people one can imagine. Loud....but friendly and 100% fun tho hang out with. There are unmistakably huge differences between USA's and Europeans in how to approach different situations abroad. Once again....no insult...only personal observations. Coming from a 'the old continent' with all its cultures, languages and a shitload of small, different countries I think I can adapt to various situations quite easily, where some Americans can be a bit naive sometimes (example: the local currency is called PESO not dollar......the name of my favorite destination is Colombia, with an 'O', not a 'U'...ColUmbia is a city in the US...) Therefore Americans are know to be overpaying for services ('yes my friend...special price for you...USA! USA!...love you!'), or easier led into harmful situations ('This is my brother, he is a taxi drive too. He rides with us. Very very safe') . Responses in this very thread show us all how different everybody is dealing with the whole Santo Domingo situation. I love it! Sure thing: it is not a dull place!!! Having that said I definitely are open to meet different people, damn sure I will scout out Paco's -it is a must see in my view!-, I love to cruise the Malecon and Parques (and Cine Lido.....hmmmm) and maybe I use the service of a middle guy. They're pro's and con's to all those options. I guess I spend my first day people watching and assessing the situation.. Bottom line: boys galore!!! whoop whoop!! yeah!! I'll drop a more specific question and can't wait to read on all of your different experiences: I'm more interested in the next step. How to bring a guy back. My golden rule: I want to see your Cedula. I make a foto of it and email it to 'the building registration' (nope....email it to myself. As a backup). Then I take you home. All valuables (passport, creditcard, excess money) already hidden and locked away of course (tip: use the travelsafe of Pacsafe) only left with my iPhone and amount for the guy in plain sight. In Colombia and Cuba this always worked out. No petty crime there. Never ever had any issues. It is just the horror stories of violent robberies (at knife or gunpoint) about te DR that give me the shivers. How do you guys value this?
  15. hahaha Thanks for your tips @Kevie770! Even though I move around in a discrete manner, I am very easy going and talkative always. I agree that meeting other travelers is a big bonus: strength in numbers! It's even better to meet a traveler who belongs to 'our family' too hehe. 'Loud black boys at Paco's', hahaha: mental note made!
  16. Hi forum dwellers, All reservations are made, everything is planned. I'll be heading of to the Dominican Republic for the first time this august 15th - august 30th 2019. I am so exited! A special shout-out to 1tennisace who made my head spin with his fantastic trip reports and some extra tips through PM (thanks buddy). I fly out to Punta Cana, which is a few hundred euros cheaper than flying out to Santo Domingo directly. From Europe this is. After unwinding in Punta Cana I'll have my 10-days-slut-tour in Santo Domingo from august 17th - 27th. I found a newly renovated, private Airbnb one block away from Parque Colon and Parque Duarte. Doesn't get more centrally I guess. If there are any forum members out there who like to share stories over a cup of coffee or a cocktail whilst in Santo Domingo, be sure to PM me! Always fun to meet up with like minded and have a laugh. Reports on this trip will be added to this post. We all like a good sleaze story don't we?! Any suggestions to improve my experience (cruising spots, saftey tips, etc.) are highly appreciated of course.
  17. Hahaha, this brought a smile on my face. You are absolutely spot on! As I mentioned, I rent out my house via AirBnb, every time I travel abroad (great way to subsidize ones travel budget). I received guests with all kinds of cultures, religions, ages and yes, I had gay couples as well. Couldn't care less. As long a they pay the rent (guaranteed by AirBnb) and leave the place as the found it (fair use; don't wreck the place ;-) ), I am happy as Larry. Now, regarding booking Airbnb, if you plan to have sexual encounters (don't we all!): 1. Get yourself a private apartment, not a private room at someones house. 2. Find out what the policy on visitors is (it is common that owners only mention something on that topic when they specifically don't allow visitors. If they mention noting or mention it is ok, it is ok to have a visitor) 3. If the place has a doorman/reception; simply ask how they handle visitors to be sure One time only (I've rented more than 30 times at Airbnb) I had a problem (point 3.). Afterwards I found out that i didn't read the owners conditions correctly. Luckily I stayed there for 3 nights only.
  18. In my opinion Mrbnb is a useless, overpriced and overrated alternative with limited options for the insecure gay traveler. Like their places cater better to the gay traveler; providing a empty sense of security? Come on! It’s BS. Airbnb has more options, no stupid requests (provide FB and Insta profile?? What the F. is that?), better prices and owners always accept normal people regardless age, sex, religion or sexual orientation (I’m an Airbnb apartment owner myself; I happily agreed to these conditions) as long as your not a nuisance. Sure, if you’re not sure if visitors are allowed, ask the owner or choose another one. Plenty of options. Mrbnb 0 - Airbnb 1
  19. There are tons of affordable Airbnbs around. An Airbnb is just as safe and gives you a lot more privacy. Check the ad first regarding remarks on visitors. I'm using exclusively Airbnb over my last 10 trips; honestly I don't understand why people bother to book a hotel. Especially the expensive chain hotels. Is that 'service' really worth it!? I just need a safe, private place to play around with those hot, Colombian studs... For the same amount of money you can have your private apartment in Chapinero or El Retriro. Sometimes I think it is an American thing to blindly book at (US)chain hotels, no offense. But look a bit further, organize yourself and be smart and you have better value for less money. Maybe I'm just a cheap Dutchie...
  20. I am in Rio till the 23rd of April. I’d love to team up with a fellow forum member and exchange stories over coffee or a cocktail or hit one of the clubs or saunas Don’t hesitate to PM me to get things done!
  21. Yes, I was anticipating that. But I will enjoy it anyway: as you said it is my first time. But will the saunas be open?
  22. I will visit Rio from April 16 to April 23. Can't wait to get a taste of those hot Brazilian sex gods.....But this is also when Good Friday and Easter is due. Are the sauna's still running then? In other words: are the open 365 days/year?
  23. Alright, alright. Bottem line is: you invite guys back to your place as well, but common sense (and smart safety precautions) is necessary. It reminds me of the ‘security level’ I imply when I play in Havana or Colombia. Keep your wits about, avoid dodgy guys, ask ID as leverage, don’t carry valuables etc. In the sauna I’ll take my time and make clear expectations before taking a guy Thanks for your insights; I’m ready to break the Brazilian ice! My slut tour starts April 16th ;-)
