Suitable places to stay in Santo Domingo

I think most old timers in Santo Domingo have their favorite places to stay that are friendly, allow guests and are reasonably priced and safe. I thought we might create a place new people could search. I have frequently mentioned the Palacio on Duarte. It can be pricey if you took search for a good rate. There is a new place calle 454 suites, bookable on Airbnb, that is a block from Pacos and right on Independencia ( next to Dumbos ) has anyone been there, have any experiences.? -
I stayed for 4 days in Santo Domingo, Dominican republic in January 2018. The weather was nice during the winter season. Grinder is popular here and I got dozens of messages every day. I also found a boy house, with an average of 5 to 9 boys at the house. The name of the house is Juanbinbin (use google map to find the location, which is in zona colonial). It has an Instagram account "juanbinbin11" with some boys photos posted. The price is 2000 pesos or $50 US dollars, room included. All the available boys would gather for the client to pick one up. Zona colonial and calle El conde were quiet and I didn't find any particularly interesting. Cine Lido and Bar friends were closed long time ago. In conclusion, I am not impressed by the city of Santo Domingo.
