I've always been of the opinion he might have had some power back in the 80s but the internet absolutely rendered him useless. LOL, most of his "ForestMen" can easily be "Googled" and it's a good bet you'll find them on "myspace". LOL again - wonder if in his spare time (and he seems to have a lot of it) he whines and cries that they take their personal pages down? I visited his "Forestmen" page the other night (steered there by another thread here) and he's got 10-15 year old pictures of straight porn stars "Hakan" and "Julian" posted. Neither of whom has even done any hetero porn work in years, and both, from what I've read on internet gossip boards, are on marriages 2 or 3. And being an early "Hakan" fan, I remember reading he was a Turk, living in Germany, and never an American citizen. Everything David Forest screams "HUCKSTER" a mile away. Can you give us specifics on why you state this "could not happen to a more deserving guy?" I take it you actually know more about David than what you read by your statement. I've known David and don't ever recall your name coming up in general conversation or seen you at any functions he has held. Maybe we just keep missing each other. But regardless your statement about David is pretty strong suggesting you have some insight ... or is i t you just enjoy playing judge and jury about everything? On another site, David was hyping his "Meet The Stars" program on the anniversary of 9-11 with a "special offer" - some of the money sent to him was going to some family of some victim of 9-11 (and he had mom and pop's name) IF you acted in a hurry and sent him the money NOW.....turns out there was no such family (oh, as I recall, it was some mourning bereaved Jewish couple) and the proof was he had to apologize over and over and over for his lie......Has that ever come up "in general conversation" or been talked about at "any functions"? Witness the threads on Atkol and I have always stood by him there. I like David. I don't give a fuck what others may think or their axes to grind against him. I have merely been an internet friend. But I must add this, a person I do know and trust could deal with David, the old desert agent, Peter Scott. To put things in perspective, I know from a friend-of-a-friend "Peter Scott" ended up driving a cab in Vegas, with no health insurance and a new diagnosis of diabetes. And I just read last night on "the other" forum David Forest was allegedly trolling for sex on the internet in exchange for drugs. Not money, drugs. Money costs money, I suppose. I'll take my life, EVER, much more dull* as it is. A malfeasance of justice is bad for all of us no matter whom it affects the most directly. Even if not a set-up job, I am disturbed by how quickly we lose the presumption of innocence in these times. Having said all of that, I do understand that these matters notwithstanding many people have negative feelings towards Mr. Forest.
