California is small and simpler, in a residential neighbourhood, trade more regular-looking locals. During a few visits over about a week I did not hook up there. Think New Meio Mundo (Rio) types. Dragon has relatively upscale facilities and the hookup suites are surprisingly high in quality. It was very quiet at Dragon the week I was there (on the city beach in Meireles), but a few connections. Certainly not blown away. Frustrated GdePs seeking dates in a large but empty space. It may have been an 'off' February week. My impression is that Fortaleza is suited to beach lovers, adding various excursions to Canoa Quebrada and/or Jericoacoara, and those comfortable curating their trade through ads and apps. ------- You can use the search function here for Recife. There is a chance I will take a side trip there during my long-stay visit later in the winter. Dragon is beautiful, it might be the most beautiful gay sauna in Brazil but very few GPs. The one night I was there, there is only 1 (or was it 2). California is where it's at. My digs happen, by coincidence, to be a few minutes on foot to Blue Space in Boa Viagem. I have followed the advice to block a Thurs/Fri/Sat 3days3nights for sight seeing (Antigo, Modern, Olinda) and naughty play seeking. Here are the walking distances among the clubs that will require an Über going north from Boa Via gem to the general area. It’s usually pretty well attended, but as all Saunas in Recife, the number of boys is not too great. Blue Thermas is in boa viagem, the beach neighborhood, but it’s hit or miss. Usually up to 5 boys. On two occasion saw extraordinary looking boys... a muscle model who escorted in Europe and was back to home city for a while (First boy I saw in first time at the sauna, right upon entrance, was impressed and said would look around, never to see him free again) and the other a good looking (model face) huge bodybuilder in top shape (who just entered at same time I was leaving, after receiving an emergency call from a friend). Went back on several occasion, but never saw any of the two again, and never scored a programa there - always left in a uber directly to Thermas Boa Vista . Do not be afraid to ask at the front desk how many boys are there (on one occasion there was none, and I saved entrance fee). All saunas in Recife are heavy at client-client action. Members docbr Posted January 5, 2020 Members Share Posted January 5, 2020 On a side note, don’t advise rich or foreign looking people walk on foot to and from any saunas in Recife (or anywhere outside the tourist zones). Uber is inexpensive and Recife has favelas inside almost all neighborhoods, including upscale Boa Viagem, which have drug selling places and are heaven for the local know “trombadinhas”, that are usually on bike and can appear “out of nowhere” to rob on knife or gun point. But I was very happy with my visits to the saunas in Recife... Which is by the way a beautiful city, worth the travel. And the small Olinda ... Very nice colonial town.
