  1. I very much agree with z909 although I would not go so far as to prefer gogo boys to be naked - that was often found in Pattaya gogos 15+ years ago. G-strings or jocks would be my preference. Having said that, at the moment I would like an Asian boyFriend whatever he was wearing
  2. I have to admit that I have never eaten durian fruit and have seldom offed hunks like those in the photo, but no doubt many members of this board are acquainted with both. But course the lady has zero interest for me, but Vinapu confesses an attraction in the culinary sense. thanks to spoon for making a interesting post - we need more of the same in these boring times.
  3. That’s not good news spoon. I was hoping to be able to make a trip in August/September but it would seem that this will not be feasible. On the other hand perhaps gay expats will have a good time with the available boys ?

    Gold

I have a small investment in gold with Bullion Vault, who hold physical gold for customers which can be sold at any time. I bought my holding 5 years ago so at this moment I am showing a Good Paper profit so I wish I had bought more. I inherited 4 krugerrands from my mother 20 years ago but I sold them for a fraction of today’s value. Thai people like their gold in the form of jewellery which they can wear in addition to it being a form of savings, which they can sell in hard times like in the current emergency. No doubt some boys have have received gold jewellery presents from their foreign boyfriends, but the majority would have sold it. Some 15 years ago I gave a present of gold ear-rings to a very attractive boy who lived with me in Pattaya for about a month during a long stay. but I recall the value only being about 8000 baht when a pound bought about 60 baht. He looked gorgeous wearing them.
  5. One hundred years ago {1918 to 1920) influenza killed millions throughout the world (over 100.000 in the U.K.). Even now it can be very dangerous particularly for older people, but the world has learnt to live with it and there are vaccines. The same will apply to Covid19 tests reveal that many have unknowingly had it and many more just have very mild symptoms. I would not mind either in exchange for a few nights with a hot Asian boy. Maybe a trip in the autumn might be possible to Thailand / Phillipines if the gay scene has been re-established. The boys in brown must be missing their tea money and tourist revenue is vital for SE Asian economies. The aviation industry will want to revive.
  6. A lot of my most memorable experiences were during my first couple of trips to Pattaya in 2002 and 2033 in company with a gay friend, when the pound bought 70 baht. Multiple boys in bed were often the order of the day.. Great to recall those days whilst I’m now locked down back home in England. One day after a sex filled night we took our cute “boyfriends du jour” to the gay beach during a beautiful sunny afternoon whilst the sea was flat calm. We had bought them brief speedos so after beers we took them in the sea for a while, kissing and playing in the warm water. Back to the chairs with more beers my friend made the remark “life’s not so bad after all”. After eighteen years we still mention that day.
  7. Vinapu - you have me dreaming again here in locked down England with my memories !. I once took a boy to Koh Tao for 3 days and it rained all the time, but we had lots of sex with the rain rattling on the tin roof of the bungalow. Looking at maps of the Philippines I’m impressed by the number of Islands - maybe hundreds of then, each no doubt with a slightly different culture. I wonder if there can be negative reactions to older gay men with young boyfriends ?. At hotels for instance asking for a double bed or maybe holding hands on the beach.
  8. Great reports. Starts me thinking of visiting Philippines finding a young boyfriend and travelling around the many islands and beaches. Where would be the best location to start and find the boy ?
  9. Thailand seems to have escaped the worst of Corona Virus as have surrounding countries with a relatively small number of confirmed cases and deaths. I wonder why this is so. Maybe because of a low amount of testing or maybe it’s genuine and perhaps the hot climate helps. i returned to England 2 weeks ago after an enjoyable 3 week visit to Pattaya so my timing was good.

    Saunas

I agree with you Londoner about the price of entry for young Thais, but I think there could be another factor. I have sometimes mentioned the Sansuck Sauna to boys that I gave offed but have found that they were not aware of its existence and the possibilities for them. In the gay bars and gogos I do not recall ever seeing advertising material promoting it. Saunas, bars, gogos and the gay beach concessions could work together to foster a more vibrant gay scene in Bkk, Pattaya and the other resorts.

    Saunas

Regarding the Sansuck in Pattaya I wish I had visited during my February trip as maybe things boywise might have improved. It’s situated in a side Soi off Thrapraya Road between South Pattaya and Jomtien which is not very convenient for most. There is a small pool and a jacuzzi making rather a pleasant environment even without the sex part. i used to go regularly about 10 to 15 years ago and even stayed in the rather nice guesthouse a couple of times. My body shape was rather better then than it us now so I usually had success in the darkened upstairs maze hooking up with younger Thais. Sometimes I took beach pickups there when boys used to be found on the gay Dongtan beach. The restaurant. I recall, was rather good for dining perhaps with any newly found boyfriend. There was sometimes a few voyeurs around undeterred by notices banning that activity and also the exchange of cash. I have visited the Babylon once but it was sometime ago and I can’t recall the experience.

    Saunas

In Pattaya the clientele at the gay Sansuck Sauna is mainly older farang plus younger Thais. However I haven’t been there for at least a year so can’t vouch for the action. It used to be popular for expats and tourists in the early evenings, but I stopped going due to the lack of boys attending.
  13. I was planning a trip late May / early June and would normally by now have booked the flight, but I’m waiting to see how things develop. Today it is reported that there are more confirmed cases in England than Thailand, but the numbers depend on the relative testing programs. I’m just carrying on as normal but just washing my hands a lot - don’t think there is much more to be done. Going to football tomorrow with 15000 others.
  14. Not sure you are right there Boy69. I stayed at Zing 3 weeks and had the buffet breakfast most morning with cereal, 2 fried eggs plus bread jam etc and as much coffee/fruit juice as I liked. 250 is not excessive for all of that. The eggs were always cooked quickly and brought to my table with bacon or whatever I asked for. Mind you on occasions when I felt like buying an off breakfast I did not eat there but instead walked with him to find a more Thai food orientated place.
  15. You have a point there Spoon. Poverty was one of the reasons for the development of sex tourism in Thailand. For some years we have been bemoaning the decreasing availability of gorgeous boys for gay sex tourists and the decline in bars and gogos catering for us. Str tourists also complain about the lack of available attractive girls. This is substantially a result of increased prosperity and the availability of other employment opportunities, so a slump in the Thai general economy would have a positive side in this regard. I agree that the demand for sex encounters will always be there - I like most gays find Asian boys insanely attractive in bed and out and I’m sure that there will always be business’ in Bkk, Pattaya and other resorts to meet my demand and to take my money, for as long as I survive.
  16. Another point to check is that some hotels do not admit joiners under the age of 20. During my November trip I stayed in a hotel near Soi Buakhow which I liked for having a large 25 metre pool (I like exercise swimming). After checking in I saw a notice to that effect. Later online I was in contact with a boy who specified his age as 19. I queried this with him, as some boys state they are younger than what is the case, but he confirmed it to be correct. I had to say then that I didn’t want him to join me because of the hotels rule. This was a pity as his picture really excited me. Certainly the Zing does not have this restriction. Whilst there I never took advantage of the reception bypass route as a check as to the boy’s credentials is a good safety play.
  17. Some good advice there from Z909. You should not experience any problems staying in one of the Complex hotels with taking boys to your room. They are all gay friendly Zing has the best pool there.
  18. I returned to England last Thursday after 2.5 great weeks in Pattaya, on an Emirates flights via Dubai. For both flights the economy cabin was 100% full and I had to tolerate the mild discomfort for a total of 14 hours all told. It’s just the price I have to pay for a holiday in Pats which is my favourite destination as it is for many other gays. A few passengers were wearing masks which of course they had to remove when the meals and drinks arrived. It would seem that the masks are not effective so why they are worn I do not know. On arrival I found that advice from the UK government for travellers arriving back from Thailand was to self isolate if feeling unwell. I wasn’t so I resumed normal activities. Why Thailand along with a few other SE Asia Countries should be specified like that I don’t know. It seems that today the number of confirmed Thai Coronavirus cases is less than the number in the U.K. with the horrible weather here I feel like returning immediately but it will have to be mid June always assuming I haven’t succumbed to the virus in the meantime.
  19. I stayed in the Complex at Zing and spent some time in the bars there. It is commonplace to see straight couples there, who have often walked from the seafront, hotels. For some we gays are a tourist attraction especially when we are cuddling our Thai boyfriends, but others just like the pleasant largely traffic free ambiance.
  20. I am in Pattaya where there is not much of an impact apart from the virtual lack of Chinese visitors. Looking out to sea there are few para-gliders being towed by speed boats -Chinese are the main customers for this activity. A very small number of Thais are wearing face masks and farangs virtually none. The boys I have slept with seem totally unaware of Coronavirus.
  21. I’m in Pattaya. Only the occasional person is wearing a mask- maybe one in fifty passers by. The main impact is the virtual lack of Chinese visitors who normally you see parading along Walking Street and occasionally through Boyztown behind their flag waving guides. Out at sea there are hardly any parachutes being towed by speedboats, as Chinese are the main participants.
  22. Winner always has customers due to drink prices and some cute boys
  23. I’ve occasionally maintained contact with boys I’ve offed multiple times during my many visits to Pattaya. I’m always interested in what has become of them - are they still selling sex, found a long time daddy or maybe out of the game and living a respectable life. I do agree there is no point in trying to make contact on say Romeo prior to a visit, but I do go on that site a few days before to see what boys are available.
  24. I will certainly look for it during my visit to Pattaya next week. Thanks Micheal
  25. I don’t think anyone would disagree with that. I’ve never seen the Chinese ladies in Sunee. A good choice whilst the outbreak is spreading ?
