I have given a variety of gifts to boys with whom I have spent time with in Pattaya. However I go jogging on Jomtien Beach Road in the early morning and think that this is probably no longer a health plus activity in Pattaya. Maybe go on the gym treadmill instead.

It’s 6.30 am now and I’ve looked out of the windows where it looks like it’s going to be another sizzling hot day for the election. Most of the bars were shut yesterday evening with just the occasional one having one or two customers sat drinking water or a coke. when I went out for a walk I didn’t see any electioneering activity. with Thailand being very dependant on the tourist economy it would be beneficial for them not to have the alcohol ban in 100% resorts such as Pattaya Phuket etc. But that is Western thinking not Thai, where the Buddhist religion has a huge influence. I’m not a big drinker so the lack of booze does not bother me, but yesterday evening I did miss going to the bars. At 9pm I did sit in the room scanning GR but fell asleep and ended up sleeping alone.

Saturday 23 March 2019 i was aware that this was going to happen today and was expecting see lots of election activity - posters, loud speaker vans, street meetings with speeches. However I have seen nothing like that at all so far and wonder if the people have given up on democracy after years of military dictatorship ?. i have asked in bars about it but have received non commital replies like “yes bars closed tomorrow”. I asked my boyfriend du jour last night in bed if he was going to vote but I didn’t understand his reply so didn’t pursue the matter. It’s 7:30 am and he has just gone. Good advice on this thread. Pattaya of course is significantly cheaper than bkk. I’ve been there for two days now and have offed long time a delightful twink from Winner in Sunee. As to the nationality of my offs I have only spent time in Pattaya in recent years and I cannot recall engaging a boy from Vietnam or Burma. Regarding transport to Jomtien and my preference for motor bikes from Sunee. I would not normally do this from Boystown but instead I would walk to the rank in front of the school and take a baht bus at 10 baht. I say 10 because my efforts to off in BT came to nought. I did visit Cupidol which was a favourite of mine 2 or 3 years ago but not anymore. I entered about 8.30 on my second evening and found only one other customer and a group of very lethargic boys, and also a very annoying mamasan who tried repeatedly to engage me in conversation and asked for drinks at 180 baht whilst sitting in close proximity. I left fairly quickly and walked to Sunee where Winner was very busy with attractive boys and reasonably priced drinks. The downside is the difficulty with access, but this has been covered numerous times on this board.

Recently I stayed in the Jomtien Complex where I took boys LT (my preference) and ST from Sunee. I would echo the previous advice that motor bike taxis are the best option. Walking to the baht bus routes is not good in the heat, dodging traffic and waiting at the rank for their departure. Generally myself and boy were accomodated on one bike I.e. three up. This may sound dangerous but it is common in Thailand and the moto guys are very skilled and my boys were always slim and young and sat in the rear position. It seemed like no time at all to make the journey which the guys seemed to be very familiar with. When I specified Jomtien Complex one reeled off the various hotels - Agate, Zing, Poseidon, Venue to ascertain the best access. Always wear a helmet !. As to the time for a ST I cannot recall ever timing one. I’m always bottom for ST so it would depend on how much foreplay and how long the boy took to cum.

Just noticed it’s now down to just over 41 baht !. The latest fall is of course a result of the current uncertainty about the Brexit exit. In my humble opinion the population made a very foolish choice when voting to exit the EC. when I first discovered Thailand nearly 20 years ago I recall receiving around 70 baht for my pounds. I think the drop is much greater than that experienced by the € and the $. Whilst I am well funded I have hesitated when confronted by the financial,requests of my temporary Asian boyfriends, whereas in the past I was generous particularly with hot boys who give a good performance in bed. Certainly I believe the numbers of gay Brits in Thailand will continue to thin out, particularly in the case of expats.

This would likely mean 100% full flights and many families in transit to the Indian Sub Continent with screaming babies and huge amounts of cabin luggage. Also groups of young loud guys. I paid £70 more for an A380 flight and for one leg I had 3 window seats to myself which could be arranged to form a virtual bed and on the other a spare seat next to me. Better cabin service an no queues for the toilets and the ability to stretch the legs with a walk down the aisle. I can’t say I enjoyed the flights but they were certainly tolerable. I always laugh when I hear the pilot saying that he hoped economy passengers had enjoyment. No for me 12 hours in economy is not enjoyable !

I go along with Colman. Silicone lube is very messy and you will not make friends of hotel staff if it gets onto the bed sheets. Not had any replies to my question above, but it has been answered in the thread “how busy is Boyztown and Sunee” with an excellent report by ggobkk in which he says that Cupidol was busy and had a number of twinky boys.
