I'm in Pats in 10 days. I decided to stay initially in the Jomtien Complex but hearing that Winner Boys has twinks I will certainly renew my acquaintance with Sunee, which was my favorite gay area during my first few visits to Pattaya 18/19 years ago. It is however a little awkward to travel between the two, but having offed I would invest in motor bike transport.

The new site is a complete mystery to me and I can't get to grips with it at all. It's becoming more difficult to get back to the old layout on my ipad

The idea of the naked night does not attract me. I have visited Babylon but the Sansuk in Pattaya is the only one I visit fairly often during my frequent trips. I've never heard of a naked night there. Most gays walk about both round the pool and in the upstairs play areas with a towel draped round the waist, but I like wearing speedos and sometimes when I'm daring one, of my g_strings or thongs. I have found the thought of public sex rather erotic. Vessey mentioned the Sansuck Sauna which I generally visit a couple of times during my trips to Pattaya. Some visitors like to have sex in the upstairs cubicles with their boyfriends or after hookups. Occasionally some leave the door open and quickly attract an audience. I use help from Kamagra in the first few days of my trips to Pattaya, which I buy from a pharmacy on Second Road, perhaps 10 minutes from Boystown, next to the Tim hetro gogo. Yes you could certainly use your own padlock, but as you pointed out some of those on sale in Pattaya for say 100 baht are of poor quality. France, Spain and Italy are very bad for car crime against British holiday makers. Samsuck lockers are secured by the locker lock itself and also by a padlock. You get both keys from the locker room attendant when you arrive there having paid your admittance charge. Both keys are on your arm (or leg) band which you retain for the length of your stay. Any purchases are charged to your band number. Seems as secure as they can make it. I've never had a problem there after numerous visits. Z909 I take your point about being discreet about putting items in the safe whilst having company in the room. I do this usually when the boy is in the shower. I even sometimes leave small amounts of money on the desk or slip my wallet into my travel bag which usually has a few other items in it. I don't take security to extremes but large amounts of cash, spare credit card and passport go in the room safe. I take a note of the cash amount, but have never found any missing.

On the subject of security I find that I can be rather careless after a night out in the bars and bringing a boy back to my room and the following illustrates what I mean. In the Ambiance the safe is near the room exit and you cannot see it from the bed. On one occasion during the night i woke up And went to the toilet and saw that I had left the safe door open following depositing my wallet and loose notes. I remembered that the boy had been there before me and would have also noticed the open door. I did a quick check and formed the impression that maybe money was missing. Regarding holding hands with boys. I find they often initiate this when accompanying them from their bar to hotels. I think they believe it to be part of the off ritual. I'm OK with it in gay areas and is common place to see older gays doing the same with their young boyfriends in BT, Sunee, Jomtien Complex on Dongtan Beach. Hetros are often seen holding hands with girls young enough to be their grand daughters on Beach Road. However I would not do it for example at the Soi Buakhow Market or in a shopping mall and of course it's rather difficult on Pattaya's crowded and often uneven sidewalks.

There is no set time for a ST. It depends on mainly on you. Could last 3 hours but frequently a Lot less. For me Often it comes to an end following me cumming following topping the boy but sometimes afterwards I like a little kissing and cuddling. For long time it is better to specify the expected time of departure, as some boys try and leave too early and occasionally it's hard to get them up, dressed and away. In February I stayed at the Posiedon. Of the major Complex hotels it's one of only two 100% gay places, the other being The Venue. So if you don't want contact with hetros or women it would be a good choice. I was very satisfied. It's got a rather unique very small indoor pool with a pumped current, against which you can swim. Once I used it in company with another guest, both of us having fun with our boyfriends. For dinner the restaurant is very good if you value quality food, but the breakfast is not so special.

For me the main purpose of calling a boy from the stage would be to check him out as a potential off. I prefer to get my gratification in bed rather than by a lot of fondling in the bar. If the powers that be in Pattaya saw sense they would see that the Jomtien Complex should be developed into the prime gay area to the disadvantage of Boystown. If the long term aim is to move towards a family friendly resort, Boystown has to be run down because of its name and its prominent position close to Beach Road and Walking Street. The nightly parade of guided Chinese really annoys me being treated as some sort of freak to be stared at. On the other hand The Complex is inobtrusive away from families and hetro couples and Chinese !. Gogos should be encouraged there and gay tourism nudged in that direction. Sunee has been ruined by its past, its reputation and the development of the area towards catering for Middle East visitors. It's also difficult to locate as I found when I first discovered Pattaya 16 years ago. However when I did it was my favourite for a few years.

It would seem that the majority in this thread, including myself, prefer the "pay off and return later". The motive here would be to secure the boy early, who would be probably one of the more attractive ones in the bar and hence likely to be offed, without the boredom of him accompanying you until your preferred bedtime. There is of course the risk that he does a short time or cums in the bar and so reduces his performance in bed, which would be very annoying for for me, as although I'm versatile I generally like the boy to fuck me first. Maybe now in the low season there is not the necessity to secure your boy early if there are fewer customers about. I'm due in Pats 5 September so maybe I will off late.

One negative factor with the pay off and return later is the risk that when you return for the boy you find him sat with a customer who is examining the "goods". This happened to me during my last trip at Cupidol when "my boy" took quite a while to disengage and go and get dressed, join me and leave, with hostile looks coming from the disappointed guy who thought he had a boyfriend for the night.

Yes if i latch onto a cute boy relatively early (say before 11 pm) I avoid taking him from the bar then but instead pay the off fee and return later. There is not much point in taking them back to your gay area hotel much before 1 am due to the noise from the surrounding bars. I cannot concentrate on sex when some drunken farangs rendering of "I did it my way " booms through the windows and walls. Taking them to BBB would be rather expensive and I don't enjoy the place much these days. After collecting them from the bar the best would be to have a meal together at a restaurant or with street food in the room. The last option could increase the tip if he deserved it.

Reading this thread I reflect on how the price of rent boys in Pattaya has changed over the years. I first discovered Pats in 2002 and was amazed how cheap the services I bought were ie hotels, boys and drinks. Hotel prices do not seem to have increased much in the 15 years probably due to the huge increase in availablability but the expectations of boys certainly have - I would say be more than 100%. During my first few trips I mostly offed from Sunee gogos of which there were maybe about ten, but my favourite was Kaos. The off fee was 300 and I was paying 1000 LT and very often the boy would stay with you for a good part of the following day. I even remember taking a boy from the Soi and paying 500 LT. I was very horny in those days and long time meant multiple episodes of kissing, sucking and topping often condom-less, with boys eager to please. Living dangerously ! - I'm sensible now. The pound bought 70 baht so a nights pleasure cost less than 20 pounds. Now I'm looking at 60 plus. Sex is still relatively cheap in Pattaya but an average day including accommodation will run to well over 100. One item which has gone down in price is the airfare to get there. I've just paid for my next flight at 540 pounds - rather less than in 2002. Also baht bus fares are still 10 baht although Thais paid 5. Going back to boys. The Thai economy has expanded greatly and there are much more alternative opportunities for employment for boys than the rice fields and building sites.

My experience with money boys in Pattaya goes back to year 2002 and over the years I had a wide variety of experiences but the majority have been good. I remember one attractive boy from the Kaos gogo in Sunee who I offed after making sure he knew what I wanted via a waiter translating ie long time till about 10 am and I was going to be top. In my room he was obviously very nervous and undressed in the shower following which he got into bed draped tightly in a towel. He would not respond to my advances so after a while I indicated that he should go but before leaving he held his hand demanding 1000 baht (he knew English for that). I gave him a couple of hundred and more or less pushed him out of the room. The following evening I went back to Kaos to complain and was told that it had been his first night in the gogo and that he was scared of being fucked but needed the money. They let me off a boy without the fee. My point is that you can never guarantee the service when paying for sex. I'm in Pats at the end of next month and anticipate paying 2000 for LT, but of course there are other costs with boys, drinks, the off fee, meals, small presents for those you keep for more than one night, such as phone top-ups, clothes and jewelry. I try and make sure they know what the deal is - long time is to at least 10 am unless I terminate early. 2000 baht but maybe a bit extra if I really enjoy myself.

Twinks or Hunks ? That is the question !. Since discovering Pattaya some 17 years ago my bed companions have been mostly Twinks. I preference I like them smooth with not too many tatoo's. i maybe 30+ trips I have had many many and been daddy to several. I must say I feel easier if they were gay, but when you ask the question the answer will either be ambudivilent or whatever they think you would prefer. However I am conscious that attractive hunks are in short supply in Pattaya and perhaps if I found one to off on the lines of the guys whose pictures Vinapu posts I would change my orientation.

Thanks Biguyby for your informative report. I've just booked my next trip to Pattaya but not unfortunately not until late August. It sounds like Sunee is not making its hoped for revival with Winner Boys lacking custom. Last time I visited it was busy with attractive boys and low drink prices. I hope you will be able to visit Boys Town to give a report, perhaps about Cupidol which I remember as "Twink Central". Sounds good about Sansuck. I've had fun there, but there have been times when younger Thai boys were in short supply.

I've been in Pattaya in September and as the statistics show it is a very wet month, but this has not stopped my enjoyment of my visits. Many days have a heavy thunder storm often during the late afternoon, so you have to make good use of the sunny periods. Then there can be spells when it rains so hard that the drains cannot cope and some areas, such as Soi Buakhow, are flooded to such a degree that movement around is difficult.

Going back to my earlier post in which I talked about the difficulties before digital cameras. I think it was maybe 12 years ago when I acquired my first one and I found that having the capacity to take large numbers of shots to be a big advantage which I readily exploited. I took pictures of everything but my favourite subject was money boys that I had offed. I used to take photos of my offs when I first discovered Pattaya 15 years ago. This was before the advent of digital cameras. Boys did not seem to mind but only a minority would pose naked.
