My first trip to Thailand was with a gay friend and we planned and reaserched the tourist attractions of Bangkok. We would of course sleep together and develop a relationship. Yes I can confirm what Biguyby says. I think Punya would quickly hear about it if asking for money became prevelent rather than the exception. I didn’t visit during my July trip, whereas in previous years I used always to go, sometimes several times in each week. It is of course an awkward place to get to, unless you are ok with riding rented motor bikes or motor bike taxis. Paborn your reference to the Ambiance maze brings back memories for me. Spot on Londoner !. When I first discovered Thailand in 2001 the exchange rate was around 70 baht for each pound. I rejoiced in the fantastic value of everything hotels, boys, food and drink. Yes I’ve stayed at the Poseidon and can echo ggobkk in his praise of the place. The only draw back for me is the lack of a pool, as I like a bit of excercise when on holiday and swimming is ideal. So when staying Jomtien I’ve switched to the Agate and more recently the Zing, despite preferring to stay at a 100% gay hotel, which The Posiedon is. Recalling my experience in Pattaya for 3 weeks recently in July (very much low season) the tip range I paid was 1800 to 2100 long time which comprised the majority of my liaisons.
