Final reflections Best thing about that trip was that it was entirely unplanned and unexpected. Last time I had such fast decision trip to Thailand was back in 2013 , also in May. I found it very energizing waking up in the morning to find out by midnight than in 2 days I’m flying to other end of world. That’s advantage of being retired as such feast would be hardly doable in normal 9-5 working conditions. Because luggage was free I was hauling more goodies than usually when I travel just with carry on and found it bit tiring considering my habit of changing hotels every 2-3 nights. Perhaps time to try more permanent arrangement next time like changing place only once per trip. I’m happy I decided to return to butterflying giving every bar a chance. I’m still warming toward Jupiter and after two visit this trip I’m more than half way there. It used to be bar I did not like at all so it’s great improvement. Line up on my 1st visit this trip was truly impressive, as I mentioned I like 100 % of what was on offer. My disappointment was unspoken so far in report. Last trip I spotted some hunk in Thai Relax massage in soi 6 on my last day and he was not available. I hoped to see him this trip but he went home for good according to other boys from that venue. ST from Tawan was great find of this trip shining both with personality and body. He probably realized that and was bit costly but I liked him very much thank you and only can hope he will be there next time. Along with Y from Moonlight and S from HotMale, all offed twice they were my trip heroes. Masseur N who extracted 5 sessions from me had best chance to be super star but spoiled it a bit by not reading me properly – I don’t like irrelevant or nosy messages like ‘how are you ?’ or “what you are doing now ?” he was bombarding me on Line even if I know there were well meaning and supposed to show he cares. It’s funny situation as I like guy a lot and his massage was by far the best I had in a few trips and in the room he performed as I liked plus plus, I still had moments I was mad at him. And this is actually not funny. Overall Line is great tool to hook up and communicate with guys but sometimes I wonder if it’s really worth of trouble to give boys my Line because of such case of abuse so to speak. On another hand it was life saver when due to holiday bars were closed but I managed to utilize my contacts and pull it as best day of the whole trip. Tawan with Banana in second place continue to be most friendly bars as far as I see even if Tawan boys are trying to abuse my wallet but at least they do it good natured way and understand word NO without any grimaces . As for massage Jey Spa continues to be my post Covid massage central and both guys I had there were gold standard how session and masseur should look like . Not for first time I noticed that with price service standard goes up which theoretically it’s how it’s supposed to be but we all know it’s far from reality. I was concerned I’m losing thing for Thai boys with few voluntary empty nights which almost never happened before, but now , with cold head I see that perhaps it’s bit of natural. After overheating cool down time should come. If I don’t feel like having companion why should I torment myself with looking for one ? Two boys pissed me off , one by not showing and another one by asking for dink and leaving me promptly which was more painful due to fact we had common history with either one. My revenge was simply to skip off this trip and tell them why. At least one confirmed that he got the message. Prices are going up. I’m not taking vacations to save money as staying home does better job but had few sticker shocks – 1000 off fee at BoyzBoyZBoyz, 900 massage fee at Tawan, 6000 long time request from Tawan Boy( declined). I think time will come when some haggling will be in order. I praise myself for idea of breaking my trip by going to Kuala Lumpur and I’m eternally grateful to my local friend there for being my guide and companion. Finally heartfelt thank you to reader, Anddy, Jason 1975 and ChristianPFC for all those meals and bar visits together. Due to family and my personal issues timing of my next trip is unknown but working on it. Brutal truth is , whatever plans I may make they may be ruined at the short notice. Ever optimist I hope for at least one more this year or early next one.

Day 17 , continued About 1 hr later ST Lined me he is about to arrive so I went down to the street level to see him arriving in style on motorsai smiling broadly. We decided to eat something , across the soi from hotel is small Thai eatery serving simple but tasty and cheap dishes so we feasted there for 160 for two oft drinks included. Then to the room where I made sure I was compensated for empty night and what is even more important ST made it even more sure I was happy. At one point when I complemented his built with sinister motive to allow me to take picture ( no I will not post it here nor will send it by PM ) of his well attended to body he said something I never heard before from guy “ I take care about my body so you can enjoy it” , wow ! I enjoyed it indeed, more than expected . It was really great 3 hours. It did not come cheap but it was worth every penny I gave him and what I spent on him bit later. His shoes were quite worn off. Not sure it was staged or really he did not have anything better but when he noticed I noticed their shabby state he asked if I can buy him new pair. What a smart guy ! But as my godmother used to say “it’s better to lose something with smart than find something with stupid”. So plot or not , I agreed although placed silent limit of 2000 on such largesse. We went to Silom Center as I told him my time is limited and in Central there were sport shoes on sale. After trying few pairs he settled on some Adidases for 2160, I told him I can give only 2000 , he agreed to fork out that 160 extra which of course I reimbursed him back as we were leaving mall. So I spend quite a bit on two session with ST but on this trip I had few excellent encounters and both with him were ones I suspect I will remember well still in few years. Happy but still smarting after that failed night I had one more shining star in mind. But first things first, I returned to the room and packed as much as I could before returning to boy hunting. Since today is Thursday , schnitzel special at G’Bangkok it’s where I went. Lined reader about my plans and he joined me on that Thailand’s last supper. No 400 I insisted , Ok, ok said him and in few seconds I was on my way. At the Swampy I gave him that 450, still happy with such fruitful day. All went smooth and at 2.30 we rolled out of gate as scheduled I was wailing over wasted last night but I wondered if it was actually good idea to have good night sleep before such long trek. I almost never sleep on the plane but this time I did, at least 4 continuous hours out of 7 to Doha and probably it would be longer if they did not wake me up for breakfast which I did not want to eat anyways. Three hours there was enough to survey airport which I liked a lot , specially that park in the middle of terminal. On second leg I also slept few hours so when finally after 30 hours and 55 minutes from closing door at hotel I opened my own, I was surprisingly fresh. Enough that I made post-trip laundry before retiring to own bed. Summary tomorrow and then I shut up

Day 17 , last To add insult to injury , not only I slept alone but it served me well as I waked up just before 9am and went for my last breakfast at Unesco only at 10 am , again missing in early bird discount. I have whole day at my disposal leaving only late at night / early in the morning depending on your religion. I did not waste time wanting to make up for wasted night and asked ST over Line to come to my room at 3 pm. I had impression that he jumped from joy as positive answer was immediate with tons of emoticons. Securing my entertainment for later I could proceed to realize tourist program – survey of recently opened monorail between Samrong BTS and HuaMak ARL. At 11 am on the dot I boarded train at Chong Nonsi and about 40 minutes later alighted at Bearing station to check Apollo massage site. I took exit 3 , went down by the stairs and as soon as I hit sidewalk I saw it, it’s about 6 meters from I was standing at bottom of stairs. Sign OPEN was lit but I did not had time to do more in depth survey so went back to travel to next station Samrong. Finding monorail station was easy – it just there with short covered walkway connecting the two. Ride was free in trial period but it was conducted by way of dispensing free tickets. That way they could test how gates work as well. Train runs every 10 mins so we did not wait too long for one to appear. I secured position at front allowing good view of the line and all 13 stations. Nice views of Bangkok skyline, from few angles Mahanakhon was looking as quite short building and only distinctive architecture allowed to identify it. No tourist attraction on the way so it’s more of commuter value but now with extension to Lat Prao opened after I left Thailand already we have easy access to massages in soi 101. It took 31 minutes exactly to arrive at Hua Mak station. From there it was quite a walk to identically named ARL station, no covered walkway but I made it. From there train to Phaya Thai, BTS to Chong Nonsi and at 1.40, 2 hours 40 minutes later I was back when I started.
